He's fairly indestructible when he needs to be, but he becomes immobile.

I suppose his head glows. The head at the target isn't visible or anything, it exists for the sake of the penciller to demonstrate me exploring the target.

Rockhead would consider it rude to read people's thoughts without reason, so he doesn't just scan all the time. I suppose if things get rough enough he may consider it when he gets points to improve, in which case I'd probably do that as a danger sense.

Upon arrive and the disturbance, unrock and head for the bridge. There, seeing the communications screens he will attempt subtle mind probes of the two commanders.

The range on mind probe is perception. Not sure if a view screen counts. If not he can remote view to 1000 miles.

His probe is to determine which one started the hostilities, and which one is more likely to be a potential ally. He will immediately mentally convey this to his teammates.

Taking silence for consent, Rock lights up a stogie and starts reviewing data on the system we're going to on a holo display.

Right as soon as she says 'engaging' Rockhead shifts to stone because he doesn't trust this rather dubious technology.

Rockhead will do a light scan of surface thoughts to check and see if the contact is dissembling or if anything fishy is amiss.

OK, he knows the party, but doesn't know the one they are talking to. Rock would prefer to observe for a while to piece things together. He's usually dissembling and deflecting in interactions to try and make people underestimate him.

Rockhead is a fairly short human, wears a trenchcoat for some reason, and smokes a cigar. I think I will model him on Columbo.

Rockhead ambles into the bar. He's used to taking things at a measured pace, and this often results in him being a bit late.

After his latest case investigating an actor who offed his understudy, he figured a drink would be in order. Spying a rather odd cast of characters, he sits at the bar and observes the interplay.

Martian Manhunter is a very powerful telepath in the Justice League. During the Grant Morrison run of JLA in the late 90s they had MM act as a telepathic go between for the team while Batman figured out tactics. You can get trade paperbacks of this period. They are quite good.

It's basically what I planned Rockhead to do. He will coordinate during combats, and perhaps offer intel gained by mental probes.

Yeah, I put in for the communication to have unlimited range, so people wouldn't need any devices for the purpose.

As I mentioned, if you think I need offense, I can modify a bit. The mind probe could probably get an add on which adds a debilitation.

OK, this design is based on being mostly support. Not sure if I need to change that since I'm not really a damage dealer in combat. I could add some form of psychic blast if needed. It would just take some fiddling.
