Lyra is more concerned with learning the truth of her sister's disappearance more than she is with how her actions appear to others. ![]()

Thank you and though she may not have as much testosterone as all the guys, she isn't exactly the type to just sit back in a fight. She likes to think that she is more than capable of taking care of herself both in battle and out in the wilderness. Also, I had a question about the 'Lost Kin' trait that I took. Is there a chance of finding the lost kin during the course of the campaign or at least finding some sign of their demise? ![]()

![]() Lyra replies gloomily. "There's always the chance we've walked into something worse than worgs..." Not that she's a great shot or anything, but Lyra is riding while holding her crossbow. It just makes her feel safer to have a weapon in her hands. "Simon? Do you recall ever having passed through those gates before or even just hearing of them before?" ![]()

![]() "I'd just as soon shoot it from afar with a crossbow bolt. Much safer that way." "Is everyone well enough to continue traveling? Simon, did you receive any injuries?" Lucrezia will gather all her belongings up and when mounted she will tie her part of the rope to her pommel. ![]()

![]() Lyra will fire a bolt at the tripped worg.
Lyra glances over at Simon, glad for his continued and guarding presence near her. She then returns her full attention back to the worgs and fire a bolt at the one he just tripped. ![]()

![]() Once she has the tent set-up, Lyra settle down beside the fire as she prepares to take her turn at watch. "Hopefully we are still far enough away from the source of trouble to have an uneventful night. I would also think that Red and I should take care not be alone if at all possible since we fit in the catergory of women who have either gone missing or suffered from the wasteing." ![]()

![]() When they find a spot to camp for the night, Lyra dismounts and removes all her gear and saddle from her horse and then begins to set up her tent. As she works, she asks the group: "I suppose it's safe to assume we are posting watches for the night, correct? I would prefer either first or last watch if no one minds." ![]()

![]() 9ish woulda been my guess as well. Lyra gathers up her pack and doublechecks to make sure Simon hadn't left behind any papers. Then she'll follow him out to the stables and get her own horse ready to leave as well. Once outside she'll ask quietly: "I assume you noticed the way the woman paled and made every symbol she knew to ward off evil. Obviously even the locals this far out know that something strange and unnatural is going on in Barovia. I would have asked what she thought was going on there except that I figured that would just get us thrown out of the inn. Likely these poor people are superstitious enough to believe that any mention of what's going on could attract unwanted attention to them as well." ![]()

![]() "It would be better for us to sleep for a few hours and then head out right before dawn. The woman said the trail is disused, therefore we may quite easily miss it in the dark. Though I'd like to Bavoria as soon as possible, I don't wish to waste time getting lost and doubling back if we miss the trail. Plus we do need to get at least a little bit of rest in since we have no way of knowing what we may run into on the way there." ![]()

![]() When the woman comes back to the table, Lyra stops her a moment to ask a few questions. "Excuse me, but we haven't traveled in this region much and were wondering if you could perhaps help us with some directions. We are trying to get to Barovia, but aren't sure if we are heading the right way. Have you perhaps heard of it or know someone hereabouts that may be more familiar with other nearby towns?"
