Liberty's Edge

Of course halfings are offesive. They have real short tempers!

Liberty's Edge

As has been shown time and time again on these boards, an overpowered Eidolon is usually the result of a player who made a mistake.

The Summoner is not overpowered in my opinion. Just like any other class, if you know what you are doing you can look overpowered, especially if you optimize while the rest of your party doesn't.

Bans are just knee-jerk reactions.

"Who said it was a trick?" Lyle replies with cold menace in his voice as he draws his dagger. "You've got no idea..."

Liberty's Edge

I'm taking the time to learn how to fly. Exceedingly difficult without wings.

Liberty's Edge

Not for me. Still got a week or two I think. :(

Liberty's Edge

"Not much, I'd wager. Halfling are everywhere you see and..." Lyle trails off as he hears the horrible words being screamed. "I can't understand that, but it still sounds bad. He draws his dagger, hoping it looks like he's drawing it against the Infernal speaker more them as he looks around questioningly.

Liberty's Edge

Agh! Darn you life, keeping me from posting! Sorry guys.

Liberty's Edge

I'll hold off posting till tomorrow then. I need to actually buy my commoner equipment anyway.

Good luck on all the catching up!

Liberty's Edge

I wouldn't be a very good guy if I didn't understand what you are talking about.

For the record, life is never a poor excuse with me.

Bela Lugosi vs Bella Swan

I like Twilight, but that would be hilarious to watch.

Liberty's Edge

Doctor Suess vs Shakespeare was better.

Linked that for you.

Liberty's Edge

You know, I honestly didn't think he'd be scared of spiders still. I mean, it was just a silent image scroll I used...

Liberty's Edge

Well crud. It's no fun if he's terrified.

Liberty's Edge

While it may hurt, the initial swelling makes up for it! ;)

Here are some spiders in your tent though. Oh, and I dressed you up like a fly. Good luck getting out of the webs.

I used to write a lot of fanfiction too, when I was in junior high and high school.

You can find some of my writings on FanFiction.net under the name Rio Digi. Two are finished and based around DnD/Pathfinder, and two are still in the works.

Summoners Unleashed

You can find the Racer Eidolon base form, the Close Bond feat tree, and the Polysummoner on that page.

Liberty's Edge

That's okay, I don't judge. Regeneration would just allow it to keep up with me.

Liberty's Edge

Summoned weasels in your sleeping bag.

Liberty's Edge

That would just melt through the bottle. An inconvenience at most.

I'll see your Acid and raise you one Alchemist's Fire!

Liberty's Edge

Lyle sits down at the base of a tree, and then pretends to wake, yawning loudly when Dizzy is far enough away. He stands, stretches, and seems surprised by the Chelish men in front of him.

"Ah, morning. Or is it afternoon? Never been able to tell. You chaps knows the way to the Academy? You know, the wizard one?"

Liberty's Edge

So... you go unconscious and in return I get a free potion that helps deflect weapons?

Oh, woe is me! D:

Liberty's Edge

See, I never should have switched his ale for orc mead with dwarven whiskey for chasers. He's been unconsciousness.

Liberty's Edge

"I've got an idea. I'll distract them and you get the wolf cub out of here." Lyle whispers to Dizzy, eyes full of anger.

Liberty's Edge

Purdy mouth, huh? I'll get him back for that. Lyle thinks as he crouches down and follows Dizzy.

Liberty's Edge

I doubt anyone would mistake Silver for a "defenseless halfling" though.

Liberty's Edge

Oh, I got my commoner stats up btw.

Not you, apparantly.

Don't knock it till you try it! ;)

Liberty's Edge

I'm a halfling, what did you expect?

Liberty's Edge

That just seems wrong somehow.

Liberty's Edge

Why isn't my winter like that!? T-T
I want some snow that sticks danggit! D:<

Liberty's Edge

Well great, I've got to go and change things again.

What am I going to do with my first level feat though? It wasn't until after I started traveling with Silver that I got it...

Liberty's Edge

Of Pranks and Men:

Lyle Highhill was a young halfling with a dream of one day flying through the sky. Of course, since he didn't have wings, jumping from rooftops into bails of hay would have to do.

Somewhere, somehow, he met up with another halfling named Dizzy Whistle, and a wonderful friendship full of rivalry was born. It started small, with apples with worms in them and or being told a nymph could be seen in a nearby lake if you waited up all night, but the pranks and jokes quickly escalated.

One day, after shaving lewd sayings into Dizzy's hair while he slept, he was challenged of finding a way to fly. Now, as the years went by Lyle had learned that there were was magic that could let you fly. He hadn't seen much use in a spell that only did that, so it hadn't really interested. Until he heard about spells that let you summon magnificent creatures to your side. That sounded like it could be useful in all kinds of ways! So off he went in search of a magic school to learn how to be a wizard.

He studied hard for many weeks, and finally thought he was ready for his first test: Conjurer's Chess. He was so excited! If he passed the test, he would be a full-fledged conjurer!

So of course he was crushed when he couldn't even get the spells to work.

Horrified and humiliated, Lyle fled back to the library and poured over every tome he could get his hands on, ending up surrounded by tome towers far bigger than he was tall. Finally he found one he hadn't come across before. It explained that sometimes, when conventional magic failed, bargains could be made with extraplanar beings. Desperate, he committed the instructions for doing so to memory and locked himself away in his room.

He drew the circle carefully, meticulously making adjustments as he went. Soon he was ready, and started the ritual. The last thing he remembers before passing out was a searing pain.

Waking up held a surprise: a silver serpent with a glowing rune between it's eyes. One look at that rune and the dull ache on his forehead told Lyle the ritual had worked, even if he couldn't remember the deal.

With little effort, Lyle and the serpent(which he now knew as Silver), won the next test of Conjurer's Chess and promptly left the school. Silver had explained that if he was to fly, Lyle needed to grow stronger in magic a different way.

Strange how a little dare can turn out, isn't it?

While waiting for Silver to grow wings, Lyle has traveled with Dizzy to Cheliax, planning to witness Dizzy "Free all the halflings in that devil-bedding thrice cursed anthill of a country!"

Background is done! :D

Liberty's Edge

Liberty's Edge

Totally call Aasimar Halfling.

Which reminds me of something... Aasimar, Tiefling, and Elemental Templates!

Liberty's Edge

It would really change the whole adventure path, that's for sure.

We could become famous on these boards because of this game...

Liberty's Edge

Go the Eldritch Heritage feat tree and give them Infernal or Abyssal as Bloodlines.

Liberty's Edge

No gnome can out-do us when it comes to pranks and bets of honor, that's for sure! They can't measure up!

Liberty's Edge

Why would I need to see a cleric after a night with your sister? ;P

Liberty's Edge

I'm "Skycaller", what harm do you think a little extra breeze on my skin is going to do?

Are you even trying anymore?

Liberty's Edge

I like pink though.

Liberty's Edge

I got out an shaved you to look like a poodle.

Liberty's Edge

Ha! Hilarious, and definitely something I can see a drunk halfling making that bet!

I'd like to point out the time I shaved your wolf to look like a poodle now.

Liberty's Edge

And then we traveled to Cheliax(I believe that's where CoT takes place)?
