Luca smirks knowingly at the assembled agents. "So you're the lucky ones, eh? Here, put on these hoods, and I'll lead you to the meeting place." A lottery has been held for #2-04 Shadows Fall on Absalom.

A dubious looking Varisian sidles into the lodge, scanning the room like a hungry predator (or used carriage salesman if you'd prefer). He insinuates himself among the gathered agents before finally speaking. "So... Any of you lads up for a secret meeting with Venture-Captain Drandle Dreng?" I'm recruiting for #2-04 Shadows Fall on Absalom (tier 7-11). Sign up here.

While checking in Luca casts Heroism on Natty, Vermin, Cad, Hawk and Linarra (70 min duration, using 4 2nd level slots and 1 3rd level). He'll start combat with his scroll of confusion drawn.
Heroism: This spell imbues a single creature with great bravery and morale in battle. The target gains a +2 morale bonus on attack rolls, saves, and skill checks.

Uktar wrote: Luca, please keep in mind that per PFS rules, that Confusion scroll has to be purchased as a fourth level Wizard spell--you can still use it without a Caster Level check, since it's a 3rd lvl spell for Bards, but PFS requires the cost be based on Wizard level, i.e. it'll cost 700gp, not 375gp. I know that kind of blows, but nonetheless... Yup, already noted at higher cost.

Gather Information: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (10) + 16 = 26 Tactics-wise, Heroism has a duration of 10 min/lvl, so that's a viable option for a pre-combat spell. I can cast up to 5 of them, but if I were to cast it on all of you, it would leave me without the option of casting Blistering Invective and other 2nd level spells.

Luca steps forward, clears his throat and issues the challenge, "Helkit Silverbane, by the rights bestowed on all by the Law of Grievance, I hereby challenge you, on the behalf of the Pathfinder Soicety, to honorable combat. With this challenge, we seek to right the wrongs you have done, in the form of pirating, disruption of commerce and association with the heinous "church" of Razmiran. We suggest this challenge to be resolved by group combat; me and my associates against you and a chosen band of warriors. What say you, Helkit Silverbane?" Just for good measure: Perform (Oratory): 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (13) + 16 = 29

Luca leans forward and smiles wickedly to the cleric. "Well, well, mister pirate man. It looks like you and your lot have been bested by us "poor, defenseless sailors". Now that you're all snug and tied up, you might as well tell us all you know about Hellkit Silverbane and this Razmiran bounty. If you decide not to cooperate, then I'm afraid we'll have to report back to our Sczarni chums that there weren't any survivors. Capisce?" Intimidate: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (5) + 19 = 24 Hmn, lousy roll... Assists would be appreciated.

Luca takes 10 on the Knowledge check "Natty is correct. This whole thing just became political..." After leafing through the logbook, he shrugs and sighs, "It looks like priest's already given us quite a load of information. Do you think we can squeeze any more out of him?" If need be, I can intimidate the living daylights out of him...

Lingering performance (+3 perception, Natty) round 1 Luca jumps when Cad opens the door, "By Torag's great iron balls! Well, now you're here, you can help us catch this invisible guy who's been running around." I'll continue acting as a human doorstop and ready a grapple attempt in case something invisible comes my way.

Haste: 4 rounds
Luca moves to the northern corner, slightly surprised by the flaming sphere. Ah! Damnable druid...
