Many apologies for disappearing. I don't have a good excuse. I'm really sorry. It just kept slipping my mind and I kept forgetting to check. Again...I'm sorry all.

Understood Captain. I'll gather the team and join the away team. Sobek will gather a team of four security team members, as well as Helmsly, and head to the transporter room.

Is it well know that this planet is in need? I find it interesting that the Orion ship just happen to arrive right before us with supplies at a 'reasonable' price. Charging for medicine doesn't sound very humanitarian. Is it possible that the Orion ship coordinated the sabotage on our ship to delay our arrival thus increasing their potential profits? Captain, I suggest we send a security detail with the away team to ensure their safety. Something about this situation doesn't appear logical.

Yes Captain. Suppressing his pleasure at the idea of combat, Sobek activates Yellow Alert and locks phasers on the Orion.

Sobek and his A-Team will meet in the transporter room (or carbo bay...wherever they are transporting to) to meet our "guests" with a warm welcome of armed phasers ready to fire (stun).

Sobek opens a comms channel. This is the Federation starship Amity. We have received your distress call. Please identify yourself and send your current location. I know that Xin is making a roll to determine the location, but I thought I'd ask the folks sending the message just in case that helps fast track things.

Nevermind on the questioning. Sorry guys. I'm having a hard time keeping up. I'll push forward and get the prisoner to the Captain (her original request) "Doctor, I will be taking Hunsley to the Captain per her request." Sobek locks eyes with Hunsley, "Stand up. You are coming with me. Now" Sobek does not wait for Hunsley to reply. He forces Hunsley to his feet, puts him in shackles, sticks a phaser in his side, and begins to march him to the Captain.

Sobek gathers a small group of top security guards and takes the human to sickbay. Once in sickbay, the guards assist getting the human onto one of the beds. "Doctor, here is your patient. He will require restraints at all times. I will remain here to provide protection. Once he is stable, I would like to ask him a few questions before we bring him up to the Captain."

Sobek has his phaser out (set to stun) and pointed at Kyle. Sizing up his opponent, Sobek acertains that his phasers are his most logical choice. HALT! Sobek fires. Stun Kyle with Phaser-Control+Security: 2d20 ⇒ (8, 10) = 18

"Yes Captain. We have a security incident in the Lounge. We have confirmed phaser blasts and have lost communication with the security team on site. I am going to lounge now to investigate. This is the last known location of Kyle. I suggest that all personnel on that level move to their quarters. I’ll update you again when I arrive at the Lounge. Sobek out.” Sobek taps his communicator. ”Security team. Meet me in the Lounge. Be on alert. Our person of interest may be armed. Sobek out. Sobek taps his communicator again. ”Medical team needed in the lounge.” Reason+Security+1 Momentum: 3d20 ⇒ (13, 12, 8) = 33
Upon arriving at the Lounge, Sobek sees his three security officers unconscious on the floor and their weapons missing. Sobek taps his communicator. ”Captain. We have three security guards unconscious in the lounge. All three phasers are missing. It’s logical to assume that Kyle now has 4 phasers in his possession and is willing to use them. I am moving now to comb this floor in pursuit. "Team…set your phasers to stun and fire on sight.” Sobek and team move out to the hallway to begin pursuit of Kyle.

"Security Team Bravo, meet me in Medical." After a moment of silence, Sobek speaks, "We don't yet know what we are dealing with here, Doctor. It is logical to assume the saboteur is still on board and that one of these civilians, at minimum, knows something about the sabotage. I may require your assistance during the interrogations. Your knowledge on the backgrounds of these people will prove useful." Once at Medical, Sobek addresses the Civilians. "Hello. The Captain has requested your presence. Please follow the Doctor and I." "Understood Captain." Sobek opens a communication channel to K'rist. Following the Captain's request, he keeps his communication brief. "Chief K'rist. I am on my way to Medical now. Please meet me in your office." With the Captain's permission, Sobek leaves the bridge and makes his way to Medical.

As Sobek begins re-calibrating the weapons, Ensign Pearlman returned to the bridge after recoving from an injury he received during the wormhole turbulence. As he enters the bridge, he noticed Sobek looking at him. Nervously, he spits out an announcement. ”Ensign Pearlman. Reporting for duty, sir” Sobek’s eyebrow raises slightly. ”Gather yourself Ensign. Please join me at my station and assist me with re-calibrating the weapons. Using Ensign Pearlman to leverage one of K’rist’s successes. I’ll also use one momentum to roll and extra dice. Sobek clears his throat and steps forward. With the expected amount of sympathy, he says "Whether the intent was to cripple the ship or not, sabotage is an unlawful act that requires swift action. First, we need to contain the issue. I suggest that we confine our civilian guests to their quarters and post security guards to be certain they do not leave. I recognize that the saboteur may have left the ship at the base, but we need to be certain. Second, I suggest background checks on all visitors and interrogation as needed." "Captain, with your permissions, I will have my teams to begin gathering up the guests and escorting them to their rooms. During that time, I will work on getting our ship's weapons array back online." Sobek looks as eager as a Vulcan can look.

Sobek opens a comm to the security team. ”Security Team Alpha. Adjust your focus to bringing our Weapons back online. I will be starting the process from the bridge.” Sobek moves back to the tactical station and begins the process to reinitiate the weapons array.

Sokek turns from the secondary Engineering station, stands up straight, and gives his uniform shirt and quick downward tug. "Yes Captain. The Klingon Defense Forces are known to act quickly to any activity in this area along the border. Currently, our shields are down to 65%, and our weapons and subspace communications are offline. If we continue along with course, logic dictates extreme caution." New guy question...does all power come from the warp drive. Meaning....do we know if the weapons and comms are down due to the warp drive engine being offline, or is it something else?

Breaking the law is always wrong. Lawful actions are always the best course of action. Lawbreakers should be removed from society. My ideas are generally best. I have learned that, generally speaking, my ideas are superior to everyone else's ideas. The Federation accepts too many species.. The strength of the Federation is not in numbers. Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations is overrated. My father is a higher ranking officer and helped me get this assignment. He believes that infinite diversity creates strength. I would do almost anything to gain the approval of my father, on the point of diversity, we do not agree.
