Thank you so much for the great game GM! Sorry I sort of disappeared a little at the end.
I'd like to cash in the fourth chronicle for the full rewards please. That'll mean Braggett finally has enough Fame to spend 1PP to purchase a noble title! Lord Braggett is now an official Lord. :)
"Haha! That's what you get for messing with the Knights of Arywll's Stead!" Lord Braggett cheers as Shayle is finally brought down, "Cracking shot, Vegazi, and that manoeuvre to disarm the fiend was one of the most heroic things I have ever witness Lady Brightspark..." He adds, giving everyone an appropriate salute of respect, "Of course, that's because I am unable to witness my own actions, but it was truly heroic nonetheless." He hops off of Sir Kibble and gives him a quick scratch before wandering the camp bow-legged, helping the others loot the place.
---
The exceptional knight cites a lack stature as a reason not to help carry the fallen, but he does offer the services of Sir Kibble if a sled could be fashioned to drag the erinyes back to Arwyll's Stead. He also spends a good deal of time on the trail selflessly helping the local bards by writing the songs of this victory for them.
"Haha! Indeed, Lady Brightspark, the end is nigh!" Lord Braggett cheers enthusiastically as he lends his sword to the mobbing of the erinyes. "Have at you!" Meanwhile, Kibble does his best to aid his knight's attacks, distracting Shayle with nips to the toes as Braggett slices away.
The first time Kibble is hit in a round, Braggett will use the Mounted Combat feat, and as an immediate action to try and negate any damage. The hit is negated if the Ride check result is greater than the opponent's attack roll.
For the first two adjacent allies (including Braggett) who are targeted for an attack, Kibble will use the Bodyguard feat to use an AoO and boost their AC.

Braggett's damage should be down to 14 after swigging that potion. ;)
"LANGUAGE!" Lord Braggett yells at the foul mouthed fiend, swinging his flaming sword overhead heroically as Sir Kibble rears up *ARF, ARF!* Confident that he cut quite an impressive pose, and hoping his sword backlit him nicely in the mist, he points his sword at Shayle and calls for the final push. "HAHA, CHAAAAAAARGE!!!!" Both wolf and ride close the gap in an instant, stabbing and biting at the fiend's feet.

"Haha! Good show!" Lord Braggett cheers, raising his sword in salute to his fellow gnome, "Kibble, why didn't you think of that? No time to explain now, we have a proper fight to prepare for." He throws his faulty bow dismissively over his shoulder, plucks the arrow from his thigh, and retrieves a potion from his belt. "If you want Vegazi, you'll have to come get her now... Ha! You don't stand a chance once we start a real fight rather than all that cowardly bow stuff!" He chugs the potion, his wounds healing almost instantly and cheers again, ready for a fight in close quarters.

Annoyed that he purchased the ouch-less arrows from what he thought was a respectable merchant, Lord Braggett decides to change tack. He draws his sword again, twirling the audacious flaming weapon around in a display of martial prowess, "Ha! You got lucky that my arrows are faulty, but even with sub-par equipment we will prevail." Adding to the already impressive (at least as far as he's concerned) display, the humble knight shows off his multitasking skills and starts spinning his bow as well as his sword. "Come closer, and I'll show you that I need no arrow to knock you down with a bow. Hahaha!"
Intimidate; Size:1d20 + 4 - 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 - 4 = 18 Admittedly, I thought I had invested ranks in intimidate when I decided to try this...
Lord Braggett shivers as the miasma takes hold, and slumps his shoulder uncharacteristically as he tries his best to keep hold of his breakfast. However, he cannot show weakness when Hanlin dramatically holds the darkness at bay, the sickly knight cheers confidently. "Ha! Your tricks are no match for our holy knight! You may dance all you like, but we will prevail in the end. He draws his bow again, thinking wistfully of the awesome story this is going to make, and the songs that will be sung all over Lastwall when this evil has been dealt with.
Lord Braggett draws his bow and lines up the shot, "Haha! Excellent covering fire my friends!" He cheers as arrows fly to the left and right of Shayle, "But we must do more than distract... Aim for the wings and the day will be ours!" He looses the arrow, laughing confidently.

"Haha! You should listen to my weird looking friend. You're outmatched, evil doer..." Lord Braggett shrugs off his shield and drops it to the ground, then sheaths his flaming sword, ready to draw draw his bow and help make it rain arrows. "My name is Lord Braggett Fizzlebotham the Fourth, and we are the Knights of Arwyll's Stead, prepare to meet your spectacular doom!"
Move action to remove shield, free to drop it, and another move action to sheath my sword.

I would have loved to, but things are still crazy here and ,'m having trouble keeping up with my current games. Unfortunately, that means I won't be starting any new games for a while.
I know I said I'd go for my flail, but lets see if we can finish this guy off first.
"Knight?!" Lord Braggett throws his head back in laughter, "I've known squirrels with more knightly prowess! Ha, if you're the best hell has to offer, the forces of good have nothing to worry about." He calls cheerfully over his shoulder as he continues to hack away at the devil's brother. Meanwhile, worked up by the talk of squirrels, Kibble forgets his orders to copy Inky, and tries to sink his teeth deep into the pink barbazu's shin.

I think it might be best if you hang onto it, I'll try picking up my flail in the next turn and we can gang up on this guy properly. :)
Lord Braggett takes a moment to survey the battlefield, and cheers at Inky's incredible bodyguardin' skills, "Ha! Fine work Inky, keep our favourite holy warrior alive while we knights reduce pummel these unholy minions back to the hell that spawned them." After deftly dodging yet more of the purple barbazu's attacks, he decides it would be best to deal with his brother before he lands another solid blow on one of his comrades. "Lady Brightspark, battle formation! Let us deal with this menace once and for all..." He squeezes his knees together and directs Sir Kibble to wheel around to face the devil with the glaive, and dives in full blooded with his flaming sword. "Nothing can survive long against two knights such as us! As for you Kibble, my friend... Copy the cat!"

Yeah, I've got to stop dropping my weapons, but I really wanted to disrupt that spell. Anywho, I agree with Hanlin, Inky is better than anything else you can summon and the aid another action is great. Maybe Braggett could try and flank pink with Nina and both our steeds can aid our attacks? That's +4 to hit which is nothing to be sniffed at. Also, I could try to retrieve my flail with a quick brief dismount... It should be around the square NW of Nina.
Lord Braggett laughs in the face of the bearded devil's ineffectual attempts to lay hands on his heroic body, "Ha! Come man, put some effort into it, your mistress is watching." He circles around a little and swings again, timing his strike to coincide with the bite of his noble steed. "Hey, bird lady!" He calls up to Shayle as the arc of flames dissipates, "You sure you don't want to come down here and face me yourself? Your minion is making you look bad."

"If you want a challenge- Heyah!" Lord Braggett yells up at Shayle between swings at her totally defensive minion, his flaming sword leaving impressive looking trails of heatless light as he goes, "Why don't you fly a little- Ooph! Closer you coward." Meanwhile his trusty steed continues to snap and tug at the demon's legs, determined to outdo the smelly cat by his side.

Doh! I probably shouldn't have dropped my flail...
Lord Braggett dodges and weaves with Kibble's help, having the time of his life in this dramatic battle atop Eiseth's Roost. "Haha! Hello there Shayle's minion." He draws his longsword, the blade of which seems to burst into flames as it is pulled free of it's sheath, and returns the salute before retaliating with a heroic swing or two. "Have at you!" Kibble meanwhile, does his best to knock the devil off his feet.

"Ha! So you think you can get away from us do you?" Lord Braggett calls up to Shayle, mildly impressed by the acrobatics, "Well I have news for you... There is no escaping justice! Kibble, back to the summit." Kibble wheels around and again follows Inky, racing up the stairs as fast as he can with a fully armoured gnome on his back. Meanwhile, as his trusty stead carries him to his quarry, Braggett drops his flail and plucks his final flask of acid from his belt. "Faster Kibble!" He encourages the wolf as he rides towards the edge of the plateau, lining up his shot on the beautiful winged menace. "Now!" Kibble skids to a halt at the very edge, and Braggett uses the momentum to add a little extra oomph to his throw.

"Now that is more like it!" Lord Braggett nods appreciatively as the braziers dramatically burst into flames once more, creating the perfect mood lighting for a final showdown. "A foe worthy of the Knights of Arywyl's Stead... Kibble, away!" He feels a pang of sadness when Nina figured out their significance, and more importantly, the need to extinguish the empowering fires. However, even as one brazier is doused by Hanlin's holy water, the heroic knight presses on through the heartbreak. "Save some for us, Lady Brightspark!" He calls, riding swiftly down the stairs to flail wildly at his new foe.

Nina put it so eloquently that for once Lord Braggett has nothing to say. "Haha! Instead, he nods his agreement with his fellow knight and whirls his flail around in what he has no doubts is an extremely impressive and intimidating display of prowess.
Kibble snaps at Kelsephs's toes as she scrambles away and gets back to her feet, and Lord Braggett makes the best of the opportunity, "Haha! You are no match for a fully trained knight... Take that!" He cheers, whirling his flail this way and that, not giving the Hell's Fury leader a moment of respite as his comrades surround her.

Like a knight in the midwinter bedtime stories his grammy used to tell him, Lord Braggett challenges his foe and charges forward into battle on the mountaintop.
A single ray of sunlight pierces the foggy mist, glinting off the cavalier's flail as the weapon cracks into Kelseph's masterwork breastplate, leaving a large dent in the steel, crushing internal organs and knocking the wind out of the crazed orc.
Sir Kibble's jaws snap shut around Kelseph's ankle, and the wolf twists his neck, sweeping her off her feet.
Hehe, I don't know why, but a vision of this fight happening within an 80s cartoon went through my head when I read that. :)
"Haha! That's what you get for making deals with devils." Lord Braggett cheers as Kelseph is apparently left to defend herself, "Your diabolical plans are undone, Vegazi's beating heart will remain in her chest, and your cereal is ruined... Kibble, CHAAAAARGE!!!" With a squeeze of his heels, the brave knight urges Sir Kibble into action, closing the gap in an instant. "Have at you!" While Kibble bites at her ankles, Braggett whirls his flail at Kelseph's chest with all the power he can muster.
Challenging, so Braggett has AC 24 vs. Kelseph, AC 20 vs. everyone else, and doesn't lose AC due to charge thanks to a cavalier's charge.

The image of Lord Braggett riding up the steps, whirling his flail confidently above his head and creating vortices in the early morning mist is actually pretty darn inspiring. "Your reign of terror ends now Kelseph, and that goes for your bird lady too... Have at you!" He yells with conviction as he raises the Arwyll family crest emblazoned on his shield and calls again for his fellow knights to join the charge. "Onward friends!!!"
Move action for Kibble to climb the steps, and standard from Braggett to make the Lion's Call: competence bonus to saves vs. fear and +1 competence bonus to attack rolls for 5 rounds. No previous buffs, assuming Align Weapon faded.
"Haha, that sounds like a pla-" Lord Braggett starts to cheer, but is interrupted by Nina's sudden yet inevitable charge. "Ha, that's the way, Lady Brightspark! For Arwyll's Stead... Chaaaaaarge!" With a big smile on his face, the gnomish knight starts whirring his flail over his head until it starts making the most satisfying noise, *Fwooop Fwooop Fwooop* and urges Sir Kibble to action as he holds his shield up to deflect any incoming projectiles. The shaggy wolf responds by bounding up the steps behind, then past, Nina, carrying his eccentric, laughing rider towards Kelseph without a care for the raven the other knight is sure to dispatch with ease.

I'm so sorry, that took a lot longer than expected, but after setting up a ssn, bank account, and making dozens of calls to my internet company, I am now connected. Yay! Thank you for deciding to wait, I was a bit bummed that I might miss the final battle and very happy that now I won't have to. It will take me a day or two to get sorted properly (I still need to set up my laptop, not to mention a whole new set of responsibilities to get used to) but I hope to be back to normal soon. Thanks again for your patience! :)
Just a reminder that my big move has officially begun. I may be able to post tomorrow evening, but after that I will be dark for an unknown period of time. Please feel free to bot me, and if either Kelseph or the fallen angel falls, Braggett will challenge the other. :)
Know. Whatever; Breadth of Experience:1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5Can perform all knowledge checks untrained with the same modifier, so whatever is needed to identify from the description, Braggett knows. Edit: Or not, as the case may be. :)
"A fallen angel eh? Well, we will just have to make sure she keeps falling. I say that if they both like bows so much, we should charge them down from both flanks and force them to fight on our terms, with blades and weighted balls." Lord Braggett suggests, hefting his flail for added emphasis. "If you sneak around to the other set of stairs, Sir Bishop, we'll have a chance to strike from both sides at once! Perhaps Lady Vegazi could accompany you to provide support? Ha, they won't know what hit them." With a smile, the enthusiastic knight looks up at the overcast sky as he contemplates the ravens. "If those four ravens are like the ones below, we also need someone to run interference and even snuff out the braziers if possible." Whatever the plan may turn out to be, he's sure to enjoy this.
Lord Braggett wholeheartedly agrees with Nina, he opens his mouth and takes a deep breath, just about to scream the charge at the top of his lungs... But then Inky puts a downer on the situation. "Hmm, well I guess we could wait a moment or two longer." He deflates a bit, but then a thought occurs to the optimistic knight. "Ha, the anticipation will only serve to make the forthcoming battle all the more glorious. After you, Sir!"
___
I forgot about the size difference when I offered it, but the cold iron longsword of continual flame is yours if you want it Erlathan. :)
The news that the Knights of Arwyll Stead are running out of magic is a little worrying, but Lord Braggett is the kind of knight who loves making lemonade. "Ha! Does that mean we finally get to see Sir Erlathan's mighty sword arm? I have a flaming sword that you can borrow, Sir... It'll go splendidly with the skull mask!"
"Lady Vegazi raises a good point, however." Lord Braggett adds more seriously, adjusting his position on Kibble's bare back to ensure maximum speed when it comes time to charge. "You should bless that dagger of yours again, Sir Bishop. Prepare yourself for whatever devil awaits us, and I will ensure that Kelseph's is unable to use her bow. Haha, indeed, we shall see how she fares when she is up close to her enemy, and not hiding behind her children for a change." He rides forward, smiling in anticipation of the final showdown.
Haha, I like the idea of an enlarged Braggett, but I fear he would be too slow on foot. As for current bonuses, I only have a +1 resistance bonus to saves.
"Haha! Cracking shot Lady Vegazi!" Lord Braggett cheers, the guardian slayed by an impressive show of tag-team action and ranged support. "Now we must prepare ourselves for the main event." The excitable knight passes Hanlin his wand for what he hopes will be the last time. "If you don't mind, Sir? We should try look our best for the next battle, for when the bards sing of this day, we want to give them plenty of good material to work with."
Once the colour has returned to his cheeks, and his armour has been hastily polished, Braggett raises his flail and sounds the charge. "Now, let us cleanse this mountain of evil in the names of Cayden, Iomedae, and the mighty Nertz... Onward!"
"Very well, Sir..." Lord Braggett calls back to Bishop as he fends off one stone fist with his shield, but lets the other through. "However, I will not withdraw without first leaving my mark. Haha, take that!" He whirls his flail around once more with feeling, and then lets his noble steed know that withdrawal is imminent. The wolf acknowledges with a snap at the guardian's ankles as a distraction, then swiftly turns and runs down the mountain, freeing up room for the eager rogue.
As Kibble runs down the path, the brave knight appears to momentarily slip from his furry friend's bare back, but soon recovers. "Good luck, Sir!" He says to Bishop as he rides past, giving the man a salute as if the slip never happened. Tried to get cover, but failed.

"Agh!" Lord Braggett looks down at the feathered sticks poking out of his ribcage, back up at the statue, and finally down again. "It doesn't like gnomes!" He declares, thinking back to the assault on Nina as he snaps the ends off the arrows. "What kind of monster doesn't like gnomes?!"
Wasting little time, Bragget runs up behind Kibble and leapfrogs somewhat awkwardly into position on his back, "Onward Kibble!" He yells as he draws his flail and rides up the switch backs, saluting Nina on his way past for her graciousness in letting him go first. The brave knight comes to a halt right in front of the statuesque figure and looks up at it with steely eyes. "Not so tough now are you, huh?" He taunts, tapping it with his flail, "Come on! Let's see how you fare in fair combat..." He continues the relentless tapping with his flail, Braggett doing his best to annoy the creature as only a gnome can do. "Have at you!"
Kibble likewise does his best to harass the guardian, but snaps more at the air than at the construct.

Huzzah indeed! Bishop is going to feel so foolish when he remembers the blanch in his bag. I'll keep my fingers crossed for making the grand finale before the 31st. :)
@Nina: I'd love to, but for the same reason I had to pass on Blakros Matrimony, I'll have to pass on Treacherous Waves. ;)
Just a heads up. I'll be moving home (and country) from the 31st of July and not only will I be unavailable during all the time spent travelling, I won't be able to post until I have managed to get the internet connected to my new house. I had hoped we'd be finished before then, but it looking less likely. As such, I'm happy for anyone to take over the reigns and bot Lord Braggett when the time comes. There are rough botting instructions in his profile.
"I would need to get close first, Lady Brightspark!" Lord Braggett calls back to the gnome under fire, "But with my flail I cam disarm any- Aha!" He cheers as he catches the mace, "Excellent arm! Now, hold tight the both of you, we'll have you up in a jiffy." He wraps the rope around his arm a few times for a better grip and, as soon as Hanlin and Vegazi are ready, gives his faithful wolf the signal. "Kibble... Time to play tug o' war!"
My flail had bless on it, but Hanlin will have to tell you how long that lasts. As for my actions, I'm hoping that since Braggett can drag up to 750lbs, he'd be able to pull both Vegazi and Hanlin up together to save the time and risk of them climbing. If it works, the arrows are 20ft away where I might end up, depending on how you want to run things.
Lord Braggett reaches out to grab the flying mace and almost slips as it falls teasingly short, teetering precariously on the edge. "Darn it Sir, it needs more oomph!" He yells down as he steadies himself, waving his arm around for balance, "When this is all over, I'm signing you up for a gym membership!" Once he has recovered a stable base, the knight holds out a hand yet again, ready to catch the next attempt. "Now then... Lady Vegazi, how's your arm?"
Lord Braggett rushes into position, Kibble standing guard at his back as he kneels down and reaches a hand over the edge. "Excellent thinking, Sir!" He cheers. "I'm ready..."
Using a move action to either dismount or hustle into position, and a standard to ready catching the mace. Free action to command Kibble to defend defend his knight.
Before I take my proper actions for the turn, I need to clarify a few things. Did the guardian show up before or after Braggett hopped off of Kibble's back, and is it even possible for Hanlin to throw the rope up on his turn?
"Egads! The situation is grave and getting graver." Lord Braggett exclaims, starting to rue the decision to use fifty foot of fine silken rope to tie up a single captive. Curse my inexplicable flair for style, but that cocoon looked so impressive! Why, it was enough to make a giant spider jealous... He looks around and sees that Erlathan is equally bereft of climbing equipment. "I'm afraid I cannot do that, Lady Vegazi! You need to throw the rope up..." He calls over the edge, turning his back uncomfortably on the graven guardian.
Eep! That was unexpected... I'm afraid I have no rope. I was kind of hoping Hanlin would have enough time to tie a rock to the end of his and throw it up. I think I need to wait to see what others are able to do, but if it's possible to ready an action to catch the rope (and if it's possible to throw it up,) I'll do that. ;)
Lord Braggett agrees with Bishop, but Hanlin's discovery weighs on his mind. "Wary indeed! Why, the thought that Kelseph may have made some kind of pact with someone like Eiseth is enough to make even I pause." As Hanlin holds out the rope, however, the knight's mood changes. "Haha! I know of just the method." Lord Braggett slides out of the saddle, a wide smile on his face, and starts removing Kibble's saddle bags, bit and bridle, and finally the saddle itself. After giving the surprisingly naked looking wolf a quick scratch where his fur had been flattened by the weight of his gear, Braggett hops back onto Kibble's bear back. "Time to show your stuff, my friend. GERONIMOOOOOoooooo!!!" He holds on tight as Kibble rushes toward the gap in the stairs.
The normally agile wolf make quite a meal of it, but still leaps the gap with a foot or so to spare! The delighted knight cheers as he hops off Kibble and gets in position to catch and secure the rope. "How's that, Sir?"
Had to shed some weight to get to a light load, or Kibble was looking at some major penalties for the jump. :)
"Good lord! Is that what your skull looks like?" Lord Braggett exclaims as the magical mask starts to do it's stuff. "I assumed it would be... bigger." Once over the shock of seeing Erlathan's head inside out, and his off putting new habit of 'poofing' instead of walking, Braggett jumps back in his saddle. "Speaking of swigging potions... If we are soon to meet your mother, Vegazi, I fear you will need this more than me." He tosses the half-orc a vial of bear's endurance that he recently found on a fallen enemy. "I suspect she will be more determined than ever to see your blood spilt."
I was going to use it myself, but since we're basically delivering Vegazi exactly where Kelseph wants her, she might need it more. :)
"That's very gracious of you, Lady Brightspark." Lord Braggett says as he rides back down the stairs, "However, I believe it was your magnificent strike that finally felled the fiend. As such, the honour of removing such a blight on this world should be yours." The banged-up knight slides gingerly out of the saddle, bends down to pick up his favourite flail with a knightly groan, and starts rooting around in his backpack for some rope. "I'll take care of the Material girl, from the Material world." After stripping her arms and armour, and removing the creepy mask, Braggett practically cocoons Bax in silk rope, leaving only the tips of her toes and her head uncovered. "There! That should do it..." He says as he tightens the last knot. "Once we take care of her mother, we can return to pick her up. I dare say Kibble can carry her all the way back to Arwyll Stead with little trouble." Kibble's ears prick up and he looks askance at his knight. *Arf!?*
_____
As Nina and Erlathan work on identifying the Bax's magical arsenal, Lord Braggett thanks Hanlin once more for keeping him in the fight and asks for one more favour. "While 'tis just a scratch, I fear we will need to be in tip top condition in our forthcoming showdown with Kelseph." He smiles as he hands the righteous knight a wand. "Would you be so kind as to activate this thing for me?"
I don't know how many charges are left on the looted party wand, so I'll assume they are coming from my wand until told otherwise. ;)
His feelings about the mask are pretty similar to those of Nina, and he has no use of crossbows, arrows, or light armour. However, Braggett has started to acquire a taste for the menthol flavours of curative potions, and decides to pocket one of the vials as soon as it is identified.
I'd quite like one of those potions of cure moderate wounds to replace the one I just used. Other than that, I'm good to go. :)
Lord Braggett turns a deep shade of red at Netokkurai's accusation. "Coward!? How dare you! I merely need the run-up to- Oh!" The bitter disappointment of missing out on dealing the final heroic blow and proving the devil wrong is quickly tempered by the warm glow of a glorious of victory. "HUZAH!!! Excellent work, comrades!" He cheers, "Kelseph is fast running out of allies and deranged children - no offence, Vegazi - to send our way. Onward to victory!" He rides halfway across the plateau before suddenly remembering that the cursed braziers are still crackling with potential ravens. "Aha! Come Kibble, we still have work to do..." He spurs his poor, bruised wolf to lope towards the stairs as he roots around in his pack. Once by the strange iron brazier, the knight holds up his recently acquired flask and heroically empties the holy water within, all over the spooky flames.
Double move for Kibble. Braggett uses a move action to retrieve his stowed flask and a standard to empty it on the brazier. However, I'm not sure which braziers had birds flying out of them. I'd like to move to the furthest one if possible.
Edit: Forgot to say before, but both the potion of cure moderate wounds and the holy water were previously looted from elsewhere. :)
Lord Braggett opens his eyes with a loud gasp, suddenly sitting up straight in the saddle again. He blinks a few times, taking in his surroundings with a look of bemusement, Hanlin suddenly by his side and Bax laying dying on the ground with Sir Kibble looming over her, bloodied teeth bared. "Haha!" He laughs defiantly, finally realising what just happened. "The Knights or Arwyll Stead will never fall!" He calls happily, giving his comrades a thankful salute, and his dropped flail a rueful look, before directing his noble steed to wheel around. "Come Kibble, I want the last thing this fiend sees to be the glorious sight of a charging knight." He rides up beside Vegazi, using his exceptional skills to make it nearly impossible for Netokkurai to lay another hand on him or his steed. He gives the devil a confident grin as he plucks a vial from his belt and downs it's contents.
CMW:2d8 + 4 ⇒ (7, 5) + 4 = 16
Kibble is using the withdraw action so that he won't provoke, and Braggett has AC 28 vs. Netokkurai, 24 vs. Raven thanks to mobility and challenge.
Out of turn actions:
The first time Kibble is hit in a round, Braggett will use the Mounted Combat feat, and as an immediate action to try and negate any damage. The hit is negated if the Ride check result is greater than the opponent's attack roll.
For the first two adjacent allies (including Braggett) who are targeted for an attack, Kibble will use the Bodyguard feat to use an AoO and boost their AC.
Aid another (AC); Bless | DC 10:1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 5 + 1 = 12 Aid another (AC); Bless | DC 10:1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 5 + 1 = 24
Thanks guys for keeping me alive and kicking, and sorry Hanlin for making you do more healing than righteous smiting! However, I'm safe(ish) now and everyone else is at full health, so you're free to teach these devils not to mess with a cleric of Iomedae, or his friends. :)
Out of interest for my next turn... Would I be able to 5' step onto the same square as the downed hell hound? I'm guessing no, but I'm not entirely sure. :)
Also, at the risk of putting words in another player's mouth, I believe that Hanlin channelled energy before moving so that both Bax and Netokkurai were outside the yellow template area of healing at the time. ;)
Thanks, GM! Yeah, I was sure that hell hound was going down in that last round and I'd be able to make a temporary retreat to recuperate on my turn, but those darn dice had different ideas. I guess I should have taken better care with my positioning, but keeping them cornered was just too tempting for me. :)
