ah...ok....have some work to do tonight then...my bad...misunderstood...


is my guy a little too underpowered? i'm not using any of the Path of War stuff...just a slayer, the sniper archetype...


ok...made a few changes...taking a few oaths...artifice, loyalty and humility. taking the abilities enhancement and the inhuman resilience

also...what elven gods are there? wanna make sure before i decide which one to be loyal to...


ignore my braindeadedness...confused the ABP with another game i'm thinking of making a character for...


thanks Vhin. quick question about the oath of artifice...it doesn't mention metal weapons...just armour...is that correct? oh and have to make a final few yweaks to my items...no armour since the defence bonus is there..and forgot t factor in ABP...


i was torn for my character between the sniper archetype and the woodland sniper...

and the Oaths...decided to see what they're about...the link is broken...


an undead would work as a nemesis....and the Companions of the Broken Band works for me.


ah ok...hadn't read the whole page yet...thought it was a bonus..not a replacement. will have to replace my armour then...amulet of natural armour it is...

quick backstory:
Linndell was raised by his human mother. His father never met his son, as he was killed in a battle with a giant during a raid on his home village.

His mother knew there would be a time when he would want to seek out his elven relatives, so she let him go with proof of his blood ties: his father's

signet ring. He travelled to his ancestral home near Neelix in the Celadon Forest.
He was welcomed by his kin and taught the ways of elven combat and forestry skills. He even learned a simple druidic spell from one of
the wardens. He swore to hunt down the giant that killed his father. He eventually faced the giant that killed his fater, but only wounded him, taking
one of the mongrel's eyes with his bow. He now stalks the woods of his new home, ensuring the safety for the denizens. He fires from the shadows, but
has been known to wade into combat with his elven blades flashing.

3 predecessors:
Halton Dallanos-elven swordsman crushed by the xorn he killed after he showed off, not realizing it was falling on him.
Miklos baldaros-human priest, died making a stand against a horde of undead. Lost the grip on his holy symbol after an evil wizard cast a spell on it.
Sharimus the Red-half elven wizard, died after reading a spellbook tht was trapped. Was turned into a frog...and as quickly snatched up and eaten by his own raven familiar Chuckles

3 foes:
Grankle-one eyed giant that killed his father
Vanisalla-human wizard that oversees the wizard enclave on the outskirts of the Celadon Forest
Bartok the Bold-half orc warrior. mercenry sometimes employed by Vanisalla

also...i haven't added in the defense bonus yet...forgot about that...so i add +6 to all 3 AC's?

I just had a thought....maybe we should approach with no weapons drawn. The lead bird just cawed, which might mean they perceive us a threat. Perhaps we should try it?

Linndell sheaths his rapier and puts his bow away, still approaching...but slowly.

Linndell watches thebirds carefully as the group approaches the ship. He has his bow in one hand, rapier in the other, ready for any transgressors. He glances over his shoulder to see if anyone is trailing them.

I don't think those vultures are going away anytime soon. I hope wew don't have to fight our way through them. It might get messy. I can try to take out a few with my bow, but they would still outnumber us greatly. Anyone have any ideas?

Linndell gets to about 150 feet from the crash and watches the vultures.

No, my skills are of a more...inquisitive nature. My parents were a little disappointed that I showed no arcane affinity, but as I got older they accepted the fact that I showed skill at getting into places and things others could not.

The Tower back home. The Elder mages keep a repository of books, curiosities and other magic items there. My grandfather is a member of the council. I had heard about this "ship" crashing and he asked if I had any inclination of investigating. I of course said yes, and he asked that I bring back a report of anything of note. As for the rib, just tuck it back in, please.

I think this is getting more interesting by the hour....I can't wait to tell the elders back at the Tower about this. My grandfather will never believe me. Paul will be missed, but we shall make do. And Can someone check this bruise on me...I think a rib or two is sticking out my back. Feels like I got kicked by an angry ogre.

Just a quick question. Did Paul have that magic shortsword? If that is party loot, could i use it? It is better than my sword, if it is the one i am thinking of that is.

I think that we should explore the mines a bit more. But I can climb to secure a line whenever we need to. We should maybe take a second to focus and gather our thoughts before carrying on.

It seems as though she cannot understand us, and us her. I am unsure of her exact origins, but think we should give her a bit of room. I do not think it wise to spook her.
