Lia will look around for any clues on the command word.

"Hmm.. it may also be back in all those papers.Could be elesewhere in this... complex. We will have to be on the look out for it."

"Well, the problem is.. what is the activation word or phrase..."

She casts Detect Magic on it and concentrates for a few rounds.

Lia looks at everyone. "No logical reason for a dead end hallway, What do you think? Hidden door or trap?"

"Was not expecting another of these portals... Let us see wher we end up!"

"A living Dispel Magic? Hopefully it is also friendly."

Was going to offer up some magical light but.. I think everyone has at least low light vision. :)

Not seeing any immediate threats, Lia begins checking out the hallway.

Lia smiles at the ball of fire. "I assume that means getting you out of here will help you. Let us do that and then we will explore further."

Unless someone says otherwise Lia will do that and give a heartfelt good bye and thanks to the creature.

Lia turns back to the living spell. "Thank you. What can we do for you? Are you stuck in this place? Would you like to come with us to wherever this key leads or... we can free you from this place to roam the rest of the continent."

Lia takes a look on and in the desk...

"Ah. Maybe in this area." She follows as well.

Lia will head back to the central area, see if it follows.

Lost in thought for a second, Lia looks back to the ball of fire.
"Do you know here he schema is in this facility?"

"My knowledge on living spells may be limited but this is not normal behavior. I suggest we put the buckets down and talk to this being, try to figure out what he or she wants or needs."

"I honestly have no idea what that means but it has not attacked..."
She turns back to the living spell, "Do you have a purpose here? Is there any thing we can do to assist?"

Lia watches the living fire.
"We have no desire to harm you. Are you here for a reason?"

Oh great GM, with that roll, what would Lia know about living fire spells.

Lia will cast Read Magic to ID the scroll.

Lia will check the corpse.To both try to figure out who these people are and also to make sure it is just a corpse.

She will then take a look at the scroll and explore the library.

She checks out the quality on the linen. "If this is good linen, it's treasure. Bulky though..."
