Local: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10 Li Mui doesn't really recognize much the names, but maybe she considers she may be having an off day. Yet, she hears with attention, and lets the others discourse before interjecting herself. "Cydric has an appropriate point about swarms, if this is the kind of pest to be found. If we have precise information on the type of pest that needs to be dealt with, we can properly equip for the task." - she completes, looking at Ulisses without any kind of visible emotions - "More data is required from the Venture-Captain."

Li Mui joins the others in calm steps. She's still not fused; Wyrwoods are exotic, but Maralaz would take it to a whole new disconcerting level. Yet, she just pulls the hood and strides around - and for the naked, inattentive eye, she might look like just a gnome child with long hair. She refuses the water, just seeking a wall to stop by. She turns, pulling her hood back and looking with undivided attention to Ulisses. A small purple rune shines on her forehead. She stays motionless and silent the whole time, limiting herself to mutter a quick introduction towards the venture captain. "I chose the designation Li Mui - though it's likely obvious that's who you're interacting with. It's agreeable to make your acquaintance." And with that said, the summoner just goes back to the same position, as if waiting for something.

For example, with these." She produces some mimic fibers, before storing them back again, and noticing the goblin talking to her. Guzzlah wrote: "I will share my drrinks with my new company, of courrse!" She frowns and narrows her red little eyes in Li Mui's direction. "Um, if you can drrink. Shorrry if you can't!" "I can drink, though I don't require it, and it would not bring the same euphoric pleasure that I assume satisfies your flesh. However, it can be useful when we are referring to certain magical concoctions." - Li Mui completes, a bit cold, twisting her head as if trying to fully understand the slurred words.

@Lickspittle: your WIS modifier is only +3, mate! Unless I'm missing something. Knowledge (Local): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22 Li Mui stands up and moves closer to the other Pathfinders as requested, trying to recall what she knew about her interloper. As Valsin speaks, she pays close attention - almost as if writing all details mentally - and nods in agreement with the request. Wisdom: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16 If the Wyrwood notices something, she keeps to herself. As the speaker leaves with the woman, the summoner turns to the other Pathfinders present, and finally speaks to introduce herself. "It's amenable to make your acquaintance. I chose to be designated Li Mui." - she completes, eyes floating the room, as if waiting to hear something back. Li Mui is quite small. Constructed with light colored wood, her features seem to have been polished but kept minimalistic - the eyes are just skillfully cut lines on the face, similar to the mouth that moves in an arcane supernatural fashion. Her hair is rudimentary, made of curled straw adjusted as messy dreadlocks. She resembles more a fey-looking creature than a small human, with long carved ears, skinny limbs, and sharp nails.

Li Mui hides herself in a table in a shadowy corner of the lodge. There's not a single drink or snack on her table; she's simply sitting there, eyes curiously floating around the room, almost like an appliance. Not fused with Maralaz right now, the Synthesist feels incomplete; every minute seems like an eternity, and she basically just almost shuts down from life and reality while in such situations. Each new person joining the celebrations, laughing louder, or spilling drops of their beer gain her attention for some split seconds - like a cornered animal assessing the danger - but her focus quickly goes back to ignore them. Li Mui, herself, hadn't had much success as a Pathfinder, despite the 3 or so different missions she had been in. Maybe the life wasn't for everybody, but she still needed the coins - and, much more important, she still wanted to travel, explore, and get to know the world.

Sounds like a plan! @GM, will it be a problem to have more extreme aligned good and evil characters in the party? PFS usually avoids it by blocking evil (and antipaladins!) but as we have a bit more freedom, I imagine it could be okay. I just want to make sure that we're operating in a healthy manner between the players, as I had some bad experiences in the past with tasteless conflict.

Adventuring together before may be an idea, but I do like the dynamics of learning what each other is capable of as well. Yet, maybe they could all be Pathfinders coming back to the lodge after adventures, and splitting from their previous parties into a new mission with this one? For example, maybe Guzzlah lost their whole party and is the sole survivor. Or everyone else in Radana's party went for vacations after a long trek in which they found Rashk on their way back, and Radana decided to stay with Rashk to pick a new mission. Li Mui was maybe grouping with a bunch of old men that decided to retire to care for their tulip garden. I don't know, mostly spitballing here :) I made Li Lawful Good as the whole party seems to be good - and I like the angle, which also allows her to dip on things like monk or even pally at some point. I was originally confused with Cyrano - as he seems to be antipaladin. However, his sheet says CG (which would mean he lost all his paladin powers, as Insinuators would still need to be evil). For now I'm just assuming he's somehow good and doesn't care about losing all his divine powers (like divine grace/unholy resilience, which I assume is why he dipped into it).

Thanks GM! I like the "plot armor" idea. Especially from a character that would be fairly hard to heal (like mine :P)! At least until I get some wands, spells, items, etc. that will make it more possible. Could you give us some context as to where we will start, circumstances, etc.? I'd love to tie some backstories and throw some cues so this info would help. For anyone wanting to find some links/ties, Li Mui has a basic concept/backstory in her profile. Happy to work with you guys!

Hi GM - Submitting Li Mui here! We all know there are some builds that are especially busted - like the wizard that paints/constructs the genies, the unkillable magic jar witch, the green man druid, etc.; nothing against my other peers here if they want to go with one of those, of course, but I preferred staying on the field of "strong, a bit broken, but still fun to the rest of the party". I was originally building an old idea that I had about a battle witch (using a ragebred) but I feel I'll save it for when a gestalt game appears. Instead, since I saw people gave up on the synthesist, I decided to take this route myself. There are some busted/broken things about them, but I feel they're still somewhat playable in such way that the rest of the party has fun too, so I think it aligns nicely :) I thought about the classic master summoner too (and maybe it works better via forums without the whole party waiting 30 minutes during my turn!) but it has been a while since I played a pouncing outsider monstrosity, so here it goes. As for race, I risked with Li Mui as an Wyrwood. I went for the high risk high reward angle. At the end, I think I ended up with a powerful and fun combo. I had to write some concept and story too (as I get involved with the characters!) so I hope it's okay... The profile has the sheet too, as well as some plans for the future. Happy to address any issues or questions :)

She tries her very best to pretend not to be shocked, and approaches with caution. My greetings, Lady Harriet. - she does a long, exaggerated, formal reverence salute - I am called Li Mui, from the Kingdoms of the East, sired by Mai Zhi, who was sired by Bo Shangyou, him sired by the prestigious Lang Mao. Our lineage is that of loyal servants, and such has been for the past fourteen centuries. The Chinese woman carries a heavy accent as she speaks, but other than that her English is perfectly fine. I have plans to settle by your domains with my herd, and would humbly like to request your permission if you see fit to do so. She looks around - to the walls, to the window, to the door - and then back to him. Finally, she pulls a chair and sits. She doesn't blink. You know, it's nice... Nice to not have to pretend I'm breathing. The little chest movements. Nice also that my eyes don't need to be humidified by blinking. Nice that food doesn't nourish me, and better yet that I don't crave for it. You know, chocolates and french fries weren't a thing when I actually did. She stops speaking, and again looks around. But the past is irrelevant. As the future is. I respect your thoughts and accept the fact you likely is who you say you are, and that likely can provide me what you say you can. But maybe, maybe, you're not even here. You broke into my house, and invaded my thoughts with unpleasantries related to moments of my life I care little for. Are you really here? Am I even here? Maybe my class is still going, maybe my customers are still around, and I'm just here, locked in my own thoughts. Or, then again, maybe you're really here, and you're who you're saying you are. She stands up again. Threatening me with the traditions, while pushing me into a debt to be paid by getting involved with individuals who I care even less for. Is it, is it real?
