Li speaks in a low rumble while still in the form of the mammoth You cannot hope to match us. Yield and attend your comrades who fought bravely. He also gives a quick shout in sylvan to Shinzen, giving her the signal for Down. He then waits for the remaining two monks to answer.

I only get one because Shinzen hasn't gone yet.

Li Gore on Spade Monk 2

1d20 + 13 ⇒ (3) + 13 = 162d8 + 15 ⇒ (1, 5) + 15 = 21

EDIT: Fort for Shinzen 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (12) + 10 = 22

Fort for Li 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (10) + 13 = 23

Ok lots going on and trying to keep track is tough. Animal growth, Strong Jaws, Barkskin and Greater Magic Fang on Shinzen. He is now a huge white tiger. Li turns into a huge mastodon and waits to strike out at the first monk to come within reach.

As the groups stare across at each other you hear a loud ripping and popping sound, followed by a mighty roar. Where Li had stood, now stands a giant shaggy elephant with enormous white tusks. Standing beside him and preparing to pounce, Shinzen the white tiger has doubled in size. The muscles rippling under his fur tense as he prepares to spring.

If we have initiative, ready action to attack the first monk to come within reach of Li (15'). Shinzen pounces across and full attacks the first monk she comes to.

Li Gore and Slam.

Gore 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (7) + 13 = 202d8 + 15 ⇒ (4, 4) + 15 = 23

Slam 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (4) + 13 = 172d8 + 15 ⇒ (2, 3) + 15 = 20

-----------------------------------------------
Shinzen Attacks

Bite 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (13) + 21 = 346d6 + 21 ⇒ (3, 2, 3, 4, 1, 4) + 21 = 38
.
Claw 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (20) + 18 = 383d6 + 18 ⇒ (2, 6, 2) + 18 = 28
.
Claw 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (13) + 18 = 313d6 + 18 ⇒ (4, 4, 5) + 18 = 31
.
Rake 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (10) + 18 = 283d6 + 18 ⇒ (2, 3, 2) + 18 = 25
.
Rake 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (15) + 18 = 333d6 + 18 ⇒ (6, 4, 2) + 18 = 30

Confirmation roll and damage for potential crit. 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (15) + 18 = 333d6 + 18 ⇒ (6, 1, 5) + 18 = 30

Mathyson

Li unfortunately had been engrossed in a noodle shaped a bit like his tiger Shinzen and therefore missed Treiden's offer of a bet and the fight itself. Looking up he says So who won?

Li nods at the paladin and says Thank you. It is good to see some friendly competition. He pauses a second and continues I know this is an odd question, but you haven't seen a human man about two spans high with a scar running across the right side of his face from hairline to chin have you?

Li moves to a table and has some soup and orders some meat for Shinzen to dine on.

Kerumi. Be careful. These tournaments are rife with those who would seek to win by any means necessary. I would not put it past them to attempt to purge you from the competition while on your own. He let's his gaze linger a moment upon the man before returning to his meal.

Fortitude save 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (12) + 13 = 25

Li has traveled most extensively and as such has been on lots of boats.

Li keeps his eyes on Risha and says to Kerumi Agreed. She is either extremely dangerous or extremely foolish. In either case she is someone to watch.

Li grins at the girl but as soon as she touches him, Shinzen lets loose a low rumbling growl at the girl and stands. I would advise playing your tricks on someone else girl. Shinzen does not take kindly to those touching me without permission. That said, he pats Shinzen on the head and says It is alright. I am in no danger fierce one.

Returning his gaze to Risha he says How about yourself, Risha? What do you fear?

I am no half-orc. As far as what I am scared of...you do not think I would tell a potential opponent that do you? He says with another smile.

[ooc]I thought you'd like that lol.

The big Oni-spawn looks at the girl and says I can do a great many things. What is it you do? I must admit myself surprised...most people are uncomfortable at the sight of me, yet you are not.

Li smiles around his tuskes and says I can do crane, boar, and monkey, among others.

Seated with his back to the side of the ferry, a monstrous looking man waits quietly, listening to the many goings on of the people around him. Perception 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (17) + 18 = 35 He spots the foppish man pick a large man in armors pocket and lift his coin purse. Smiling around his tusks, Li reaches over and scratches behind the ears of the very large black and white tiger resting next to him. Purring contentedly, the tiger opens an eye and looks around before returning to its rest.

The man wears a breastplate and greaves of black dragon hide, embossed with silvery runes of magical power, the large thick scale harder than the best steel. He carries only a single weapon, a scimitar of simple make but excellent quality. Across his brow he wears a black band of leather with more silvery runes written across it. The rest of his ensemble is made of black and red leather, various pieces embroidered and embossed with silvery runes. The clothing and gear seems to complement his bluish-grey skin and red eyes the color of fresh blood.

Li Fu'chao is (I know it's a bit cliche but its a classic nonetheless) searching for the man that killed his druid mentor among the participants. He found out that the man would be entering the tournament and entered as well to get his revenge upon him.

As for how he got there, he has been searching for this man for several years now and has been traveling all over.

Grixie raises her hand a bit sheepishly and says "I have some explosive compounds that I have been working on that should help destroy whatever comes our way. Though again these shadow beasts are merely men in costumes designed to scare the public. A very reputable homeless man told me that several years ago, in between wailing about the devious purple elephant chasing him. Some people believe the strangest things.

Excuse me! Did you say something about hunting...her voice lowers to a whisper shadow beasts?!? The person that approached your group is a half-orc female with singed hair and eyebrows and a smell of sulfur surrounding her. She has slightly wild eyes when she talks, almost as if permanently surprised that people are listening to her. She greets those that have worked with the acting troupe in the past as she has been with the group as their master of special effects for the past several months.

You know that they are really just a cover for the illicit activities of the city rulers right? That they use the story just to make the populace fear to go out at night so that they can conduct their evil business dealings with demonic entities in the open. She looks around at the group expectantly.

Here is Grixie. She is a female Half-orc alchemist and master of special effects and pyrotechnics for stage performances. She is also a little bit crazy and is always talking about conspiracies going on in Westcroft, from giant alligators in the sewers that are put there by the secret societies to protect their secret sanctums (they conduct bizarre rituals down there to their twisted scarlet crab god!), to the fact that she only drinks the water after boiling it because the city rulers put mind controlling substances in it (it's true! I saw them doing it once and don't tell me it was just someone emptying a chamber pot!), to the fact that the Council of Thieves never was abolished in the city (they only wanted us to think they were destroyed so they could rule without our knowledge! It's true!)
