Lexi stays hidden and instead moves to another hiding spot while the rest eat.

Lexi knows better than to eat Fey food, and instead eats one of her goodberries.

Hopefully the others were paying attention when she....nevermind, they're all idiots. she thought to herself while trying to get the goodberry down without thinking about what it looks or tastes like.

Lexi is definitely not drinking whatever Carnadine did.

Lexi curtseys in her direction quickly before dashing back to the shadows.

Insight: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19

Insight is wis based. Best I can tell, is anyone watching me?

EDIT: on second thought, I'll drink something anyway, just to be on the safe side:

Lexi momentarily creeps out of her hiding spot, snatches an unattended drink that doesn't match whatever it was that Raseri just drank, then will return to a different spot and drink when the Queen does.

HP: 71 (71) | AC: 18 | Saves: Str: +0; Dex: +8; Con: +2; Int: +3; Wis: +2; Cha: +0 | Initiative: +7 | Passive Perception: 18; Passive Insight: 14; Passive Investigation: 12 | Inspiration: [ ] | Spells/Day: 3 (3)

Who woulda thunk that a priest of the beer god could remove drunkenness?

Lexi starts playing a basic game of hide and seek with her observer, but is also trying to sneakily draw her closer so they can talk.

The last thing that Lexi wanted to do with her newfound freedom was spend time amongst fey nobles as they danced, plotted, and schemed to kill each other and exploit as many people as possible doing it. Instead, she opted to find a place tou hide in the shadows of the ballroom and spy.

She opted to wear her armor, but instead of a rapier on her him, she hid her daggers in the various hidey-holes and custom-made sheathes that were built into her armor, and one or two more underneath for good measure.

"I believe so, but we never met face to face, but it's likely; and no, it's not up for discussion; not because I don't want to murder someone, but because I don't want the black prince to declare war on Zobeck; or did you think that his honor would allow Zobeckers to murder his fiancee with no consequences?"

After the Ritual:

Lexi turned and proceeded to vomit up a disgustingly large amount of dead worms. It takes several minutes before they are all out, and she is dry heaving by the time it's over.

"I...f$%k, s#$t, d@#m, motherf^%ker." says Lexi as tears begin to stream down her eyes. "I'm me again, aren't I." She turns and looks at Raseri and before she can think about the consequences, she kisses her full on the mouth.

After that moment, Lexi realizes what she did and leaps to her feet, saying "I...I'm so sorry..." and then turned and disappeared into the darkness before Raseri can say anything.

The next few days were awkward, as Lexi didn't allow for any time for Raseri and her to be alone. She offered to help Hrungnir pick out clothes for the festival, Kjeta taste beer, and basically anything else that would keep her away from Raseri.

To the rest of the group, it was clear that something had happened to Lexi, and that she was back to who she was, but it was also clear to everyone that she was avoiding Raseri.

During this jumbled time, Lexi shared with the group that there was a pair of missions afoot regarding a young merchant's daughter from Zobeck who was marrying a prince; one to kill her, which was given by her mentor Zakhan, and another to not kill her, given by a someone who had control over insects. Lexi had agreed to take the latter mission, as she wanted to avoid trouble.

"The problem is that Zakhan is not going to just let the marriage happen, if he's taken a job to kill the girl. He's going to kill her, and it will likely be at the festival. While I can give you all a description of the man, he is trained in disguises, so there's a good chance he'll have altered his appearance. It's just one more thing we'll need to keep an eye on."

I'll get something reposted either tonight or tomorrow.

After her harrowing journey to the morgue, Lexi returned with both the tape and the information she had gleaned from the dead bodies. Getting everyone together, she explained what had happend (omitting the part about the goblin turning into a human child).

Among the dead:

Given that she has no chance to avoid a confrontation, and having little desire to fight....whatever that thing was, Lexi opts to instead kill the creatures hustling in her direction. Taking a deep breath, she draws her Scorpion Stiletto and clicks the button to envenom the blade, then draws her Dagger of Venom and uses it's magic; she wields her stiletto in her main hand and the Dagger of Venom in her off hand. After that, it was just a matter of waiting...

Morgue:

Morgue:
Lexi refused to be deterred by whatever was in the water. Instead, she compared the backstab wound to both dagger and rapier to see if she could get a better idea of what sort of weapon had stabbed him.

There was a moment while opening the head that she nearly stripped a screw, but eventually she got the head to open.

With as much care as she could muster, she carefully removed the filament and stored it into one of her belt pouches.

She then leaned down and gently kissed him on the forehead.

Not one to waste an opportunity, she then turned and examined Carnadine's squire, looking to determine his cause of death.

At the murder scene:

"Yes, that I will find who did this, and they will wish they had been thrown from on high instead."

Lexi did not look up as she spoke; instead, her small body still wracked with quiet sobs that did not seem to come from the same mouth that spoke.

It was a very odd, and the voice that spoke, while undeniably hers, radiated menace at a level that even her behavior in the old days didn't equal.

There was a cold fury inside her.

Maze:

Lexi trusted her gut and did the best to avoid areas she felt were wrong or dangerous. The group was moving fast, but she was skilled enough in situational awareness to allow her to change things before they became dangerous.

She wears black leather armor and kills people for money, often times mocking them while she does so.

Lately, however, she's started moving more towards the side of good. She'll never be Lawful Good, however.

I like that Carnadine and Lexi are like opposite ends of the Evil spectrum:

Carnadine is evil by choice, and Lexi is evil as a survival mechanic.

Plus, he makes a really, really good foil for the clerics in the group.

At Kjeta's comment, Lexi says "I needed a dress more than she did. She had many and was hoarding them. The problem, lady brweer, is that you have been pampered and given everything your entire life, and so you assume that your way is the correct one. Evil is subjective, regardless of what a birdman says."
