The rush of energy Katia sent over him made Lethander feel as if whatever evil the mongrelman ad put into his body was being pulled out. He sighed with relief when it was over.
"Thank you, I feel much better. And of course I'll gladly assist you, Zakon."

Also casting Detect magic and searching for stuff.

Lethander's quite useless in combat at the moment I'm afraid. So I went with the certainty of killing an enemy before it could become a problem instead of the (roughly calculated) 15% chance of having killed the leader.

Could've easily gone the other way, but we won, that's what matters :-)

Will Save DC18: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14

This time, the elven wizard failed to shake off the wave of sickening energy. He felt it penetrate his will and then his body, almost knocking him to his feet.

"Can't take... much more...", he groaned, obviously in pain.

It seemed to Lethander that his allies were well capable of dealing with the Leader, much better than he could in any case. But the others wouldn't stay under the effects of the color spray forever and seemed much easier targets. He felt little remorse driving his dagger into these monsters who idolized and worshiped the fiends that just sacked his city.

Having no idea on what lies ahead of us, I honestly can't say.
I'd be completely fine with either option.
I'm pretty comfortable with our group as is and don't think it should pose too much trouble as long as the game's balanced to 4 players...
But undoubtedly there are plenty of players 'out there' who want a spot in a PbP.

Also, sorry, but I'll be going on a trip next week and won't have access to the internet. Please GMPC me, or if (one of) the other players feel like temporarily picking up my character, that's good too.

During the time the group rested, explored and traded, Lethander took some time to research the spellbooks they'd found among the possessions of the strange dwarf that attacked them.
He offered them to Zakon for examination, too.

"Accept? What is there to accept? Message or no, we need to get to the surface, urgently! There's a war going on above and I for one will die before sitting by watching while demons take over Golarion!", Lethander said full of frustration. Lethander cleared his throat.
"Master Wizard, I assure you none seek to punish the demons or those assisting them more than I do. They cost me my parents and I will do all in my power to bring them down. But I'm certain you can see that this is not the time nor the place for this conversation. We should focus on surviving and escaping these caves. Every hour we spend in these caves is one less we spend fighting the demons invading our world."

He leaned in a bit closer to Aravashnial and spoke more quietly. "I've heard of a group names the Riftwardens; I gather they are wizards specialized in these things. Have you any idea how to reach them? From what little I learned of them, if anyone knows how to fight these demons, it is they."

A lot of Lethander's starting gear is still in Kenabres, or something...
I bought a pack mule with camping & survival gear; but since it'd make little sense that it would be coming along with him to the festival.

Should I just scratch it (like half my starting gear :p) from my sheet or do you think there's a way to get it back somehow? The beast and the stuff it's carrying already would've come in handy here, hm.

"No, I don't think so... Last I remember, I was with y... Runaway?"
He pushed himself to his feet and looked to the front, where he saw two small figures wrestling to gain control of the horses. No much room for him there, he decided to try the other direction.

Would be even harder lifting a rock that's as slick as an eel. If I cast it on his upper clothing, we should still be able to grab his legs or something.
As for the Horgus stuff, just playing out my Pride drawback.

"Just trying to make the best out of an ugly situation. Maybe when we reach the surface, Horgus will have learned the value of saying 'please' or 'thank you' instead of barking orders and throwing insults."

"Of course we'll help. I'm afraid lifting boulders isn't my strength, but I might know a spell that might help.", he offered.

As the rest gather around the boulder, he threw a meaningful glance toward Horgus.
"Such a familiar situation... Except, of course, this time there are so many more people anxious to help. I wonder why that is... Might it be these Mongrelmen are more likable than you?", he said in a hushed voice.

Would casting Grease on the trapped mongrelman be of any help or can we handle just as safe without it?
