Looks like a great time!

Silver Crusade

I'm stoked to come out of retirement one last time.

Oozes use parthenogenesis. That is, they split into two.

Some races may even be the result of magical alteration.

Parthenogenesis is an asexual mode of reproduction, but it involves an organism developing from an unfertilized egg. It is fairly rare, but it is one of the ways that asexual reproduction evolve in animal species (it also happens in plants). Splitting in two could be referred to as budding, or maybe cloning?

I'll go farther and flat out stat the bards as occult is completely the wrong flavor. It could perhaps be an interesting option in some specific cases, but thematically makes no sense. I can understand backing away from the very esoteric mechanics of the various occult classes, but they really nailed theme well.

Silver Crusade

I was found unworthy by Druids, so I became Golarion's greatest Naturalist to prove them wrong.

Or better yet sometimes intimidate works, but not how you wanted. It was a dark day on the plains of Nerosyan. Demons were everywhere, and I was leading a Seeker team when that dragon showed up. I looked up at him (checked my boon sheet that gave me no size penalties to intimidate) and stared that dragon straight in the eye. He was so scared he promptly flew over and proceeded to try and eliminate the worst threat and eat me. Things looked grim from inside the dragons mouth, but the next round when I just walked right out of his mouth, he knew that he'd been beat and promptly took off for Georgia (OK the special ended, before he could breath on my nearly dead body).

Overall I'm pretty sympathetic to giving the GMs some help on adjudicating the social skills. There are times at the table the best I can muster is a quick line describing my diplomatic/intimidating angle but the most fun is when you get some real dialogue going and affect the story that way. I also know that sometimes as a GM despite prep time you don't have an immediate answer to an unconventional approach from a PC. And having something in the scenario to support a GM not getting intimidated into allowing intimidate to make people do whatever is not a bad thing.

It is worth recognizing that any particular example is not automatically a scenario limitation. It might be, it might be the GM has different information and knows why a particular solution won't work, it might be personal preference on whether or not a creative solution would work, or just based on different interpretations on how much latitude a GM has in society. Afterall how different does a PC tactic have to be from what is listed before you get to start making things up.

I don't think I got really comfortable with the ranges of variations within scenarios, within players and GMs until I was 30-40 tables in.
I remember for example being put on the spot as the party face the first time I played a 7-11 with our current venture captain as GM. I had taken the lead on discussions, but it was also my first season 6 scenario so I had no familiarity with the metaplot. I was expecting some suggestions from other players. So there I was with a great diplomacy roll but nothing to say..

During Ungrounded but Unbroken we went way off the script. In a perfectly reasonable way, however because of the way the success conditions where written the GM had the choice of slamming us back onto the rails for a bit or letting us walk away with a 'poor' performance. We hopped back on the rails and it actually made for a great time.

Of course bards are amazing! The issue to keep in mind is that somewhere around level 10 damage dealing becomes less important. Everyone can deal a ton. Having a good defensive game and mobility with things like dimension door is key to surviving. The enemies will land shots and have ridiculous abilities that will hurt. Investing in a solid UMD to go with the normal bard spell list can go mobility, debuff, defense with things like saving finale or timely inspiration, and scrolls for condition removal. Bard's Escape at 6th level is also amazing for completely controlling the battlefield.

Silver Crusade

Speaking strictly as a 20th level Bard, we're awesome. I used to worry about damage, but stopped around 14th level. I have people who do damage for me.

Basically between Bard and Skald with the various archetypes you can perfectly adjust your ratio of direct damage to support to suit your taste and the party's needs. There is a local player who plays nothing, but bards and he has yet to come close to running out of very different characters because of the versatility.

Well I can think of a certain high level module that had a mirror of life trapping conveniently off world... Luckily I was rescued by highly competent Pathfinders, or was I?

Silver Crusade

I recommend cloning HMM and having her as official PFS/SFS ambassador at all venues. I know an alchemist...

In answer to the original question as long as there is plenty of Richardo Montalban everything is fine.

It depends on the minis they are making, it might be Iconic instead

I assumed it was all the snickering from us venture captains who mostly had our own flying lodges pretending like we cared what Sheila had to say it was great to revel in the absurd.

Race:
Well after mostly ignoring the part of the mission briefing to keep a low profile, we managed our own variety of fun and games. In the arena encounter I took turns out of combat to make perform checks to stoke the crowd, most of the martials grappled the hydra just for the fun of it, and we cast heal on the hydra twice with it saving against the spell on a Nat 20 both times. There were a bunch of other ridiculous things we did in that fight, but I'll let other chime in. We completed all of the encounters in part 2 in less then 2 combat rounds combined. As ROFL stomps go it was an entertaining evening our GM got into the spirit very well.

Lem would like to officially add his name to this glorious roster. There will be a dinner party at my lodge in honor of retirement from the field. It is in a secret flying location, but I trust anyone worthy of making it this far will have no trouble arranging transport.

I will happily regale the crowd with all of my exploits. Forcing a certain near god-level machine bow down and worship me as his final act stands out as a particular high point.

Had a great time getting to 20 last night, the special ran very well and I'd put it second on my list behind Siege of the Diamond City for most fun to play the pacing is pretty good, the plot works, and there is a mix of meaningful RP and combat. Great job as always by the local organizers.

Having been slighted as a child by druids who claimed I just didn't have what it took. I've dedicated my life to the study of nature in all it's forms and now as Golarion's Greatest Naturalist with both pen and voice I proclaim the end of the vile druid monopoly on knowledge of the natural world. If I loremaster I can break a DC60 at the moment. Probably 70 if I pulled out all the stops.

Was someone besmirching the honor of Golarion's Greatest Naturalist? In my adventuring days I managed to defeat the so called King of the Storval Stairs, not flinch during the unwavering gaze of Eyes of the Ten. As Venture Captain I give the best mission briefings, and have even snuck in a few other top secret missions I'm not allowed to discuss in polite company. My brave fellow band of archers are always more effective with my inspiration and Discordant Voice along with the occasional dimension dooring.

If you were talking about the other Lem then yes he is a hack and we are not related.

Potatoes also serve as a great alchemical reagent due to their toxicity (yes the green part really is bad for you if you eat too much). Or as others have observed too much reality and obsessing over facts like potatoes being in the Nightshade family might not be that useful for the game. Of course if you really want a confusing mix of reality and fantasy you could have potatoes actually be responsible for the destruction of Azlant, after breeding potatoes specifically for the purposes of making the perfect potato 'chip' they contract a horrible stomach disease. (Inspired by a similar attempt in the 70's to use natural plant breeding which did actually result in a potato that was toxic)

I recall a thread where some weirdo tried to make the argument that you could use purify food and water on fecal matter to turn it back into nourishing food again. ;-)

That one really took the (chocolate) cake for me. Just...just chew on that one for a while. lol.

There's a spell that exists to turn your piss into the most delicious beer or wine you've ever tasted, so it's not that far-fetched.

While seemingly ridiculous there are a number of animals rabbits among them that actually will reconsume their feces. In the case of rabbits they do so in part because they do not fully digest things the first time through. Yes yes don't mix reality with fantasy and all that. But if the standard is ridiculous it should not just be silly because someone thinks so either.

Wow

Venture Captain, Professor Lem Wayluck, Golarion's Greatest naturalist, and Master of the Mission Briefing would love that idea for creating a distinctive feel to a special.

Perhaps the you could really go all out with the VCs directing traffic and the different teams really need to split up (instead of the massive melee kind of environment) and collect info for the VCs to puzzle out and actually unlock new stages of the adventure.
