”You realize I’m a bard and master story teller. Words are like my thing good dwarf,” Lachlann reminded the dwarf.

Just a heads up, I will be traveling today and I will probably not have time to post. Apologies. Please bot me as needed. Too.

Human Male Bard HP: 11/11 AC:17 T: 13 FF: 14| Fort +1 / Ref +5 / Will +2 | CMD 14 | Initiative +2 | Perception +4 | Bardic Performance 9/9

Armor: 1d6 ⇒ 2 chainmail & shield
Weapon: 1d6 ⇒ 4 mace
Trinket: 1d100 ⇒ 47 A bone statuette of a mermaid with prodigiously hairy armpits.

I have some time on my hands today so I will rebuild as a Dolmenwood Knight of House Harrowmore
1d8: 1d8 ⇒ 7
1d8: 1d8 ⇒ 8

If we would rather keep the bard that’s fine too.

That leaves us with a classic party of 4:

Lachlann: human bard
Brother Theodor: human friar
Raff: human thief
Medraut: human mage

I think I should rebuild into a more martial class.

Thoughts?

Eh, never mind. I’m going to bow out of this game.

Bummer. I was looking forward to your take on the goat man.

Thanks for running this. Looks like a great setting and I too am looking forward to the kickstarter.

No. I don't expect the game to go to higher levels so I'll leave the level caps (like AD&D) for demihumans in place.
Unless everyone agrees that's no level caps?

I’m fine with removing caps.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Sounds right.

Moon signs are a Dolmenwood thing and can be found in this Here Link as a free download.

1d12: 1d12 ⇒ 5
1d12: 1d12 ⇒ 2

Not sure if you plan on using Moon Signs but I’ll roll anyway.

Month: 1d12 ⇒ 5 Harchment
Day: 1d30 ⇒ 18

Knights moon - Full moon

Here is smiles-a-lot’s bard. I still need to flesh out his background a bit.

HP: 1d6 ⇒ 5
torches: 1d6 ⇒ 3
rations: 1d6 ⇒ 3

*Edit: What type of dice do I need to role for the two random items?

Okay, I’ve spent the past few days looking at your gameplay thread and I really like the fish out of water concept as well as the narrative style of the campaign.

I’m thinking an otterling of some sort (just can’t resist the cuteness factor) but I’m not sure of a class yet. I should have something fleshed out later today.

Also, I am just returning to the boards after disappearing for a year due to personal matters (if you have any questions PM me)

Thanks and good gaming!

Duh…. Never post after midnight. Okay here is some advice you can use:

Discoveries: tumor familiar (still useful); infusion; any potions discovery,
Feats: weapon finesse; toughnesses,

Also, the beast morph archetype stacks with your archetype. Finally, I’ve found the alchemical allocation spell very useful.

^^This…. you’re party members will thank you for it! As far as feats go weapon finesse might help if you ever wind up in melee.
