Kyarla looks proud as she watches the groups reunite. Undeath has been defeated and they would survive a little longer. She will definitely help Octavian to retrieve the orb. It may not be edible, but if it can be traded or used to make magic it would be worth it. "Has anybody seen the camels?" she calls out. "We need to make sure they don't wander off."

Kyarla first grabs some armor, tearing out the symbol with her teeth as she quickly slips into it. As she dresses, she considers a bow, but it didn't have the pull to replace her sling. She takes one of the bottles of spirits, but then sees that she has something to keep her head clear for. She puts it back to take a healing draught. Her sack is worn, so she puts it into one of the backpacks. When all this is done, she turns to the tailor. "Be clever and quick. We need a tailor to fix this armor," She points to the torn symbol on her chest. But her eyes recognizes his courage in facing them. What do you want for finding a good ambush spot? Survival, perception, stealth?

I like to think that this is a quantum fire. While it seems like there are multitudes of us, when we look back later it will only have been five or six. :) Kyarla busies herself preparing the rabbits and lizards and skewering them for cooking. As she smells the canidae, she does turn to look at him. Their eyes lock for a moment, evaluating each other. The first breath is tense, the second is wary, and the third breath is calm. This wasn't the time to address old issues. She nods at their new understanding and gets back to handing over skewers to the group. It wasn't much, but a few bites of fresh meat would be a relief after weeks of old rations. "The blue dragonkin was talking about being involved on a raid on the humans. Freeing people from chains. We need more talk of that."

What does Ealianne look like right now? I'm thinking fur, but I don't want to assume. The sound of conversation came to her a little before the smell of smoke and cat. She waited downwind and listened for a bit. The little dragonkin had mentioned attacking the humans and was looking for a group. It wasn't family, but at least it would be something to do. As she approaches, she sees a woman coming from the other side, and hears her startle a bit. She coughs a bit as she approaches to let them know she's coming up. She's carrying two skinny hares and few lizards that had just enough meat to be worth the hassle. Not bad for the number of people in the area. "Trade some meat for some fire and some company." she offers. |
