How expensive can our magic item be?

Kujoe only briefly looks towards the cave witch many of his companions now swarm in he turns his attention to a more important matter and takes the time to check up on everyone in the caravan giving what aid he can to the wounded if their be any.

Not sure if I am taking up playing gob or not Will change action at this point.

On my turn will full attack the alpha female.

for the two action I missed Kujoe will just bash whatever is nearest preferably anything beside him so he can full attack.

The sight of the sky does not bother Kujoe like it does the others though he does worry as to what it may be.

He looks at the creatures seeing no way out but to fight he charges the the one closest to the middle of the group or any he has a clear line of sight on. Taking out his hammer as part of the charge.

Kujoe chuckles lightly looking down at the goblin. "You do know how to swing a hammer right?" He says sarcastically.

Kujoe examines the goblins weapon then hands it back to him and grabs his shield he suddenly goes into a defensive position and yells. "Strike at me then let me see how you swing your weapon."

Kujoe cools off on his own for a while while meditating to get his thoughts off of Otheri and back onto his current state and location. He feels something important and finds Ix for an important "lesson". "Ix may I see your weapon." Is all he says to explain why he called him.

He says to Casfi "Since I was six I have dedicated my life to protecting what I care about under the steady hand of my goddess, Many encounters I would have died be it not for her. I have...seen much." Kujoe suddenly feels uncomfortable bringing up endeavors from his past. "If you'll excuse me..." Kujoe walks away from the others finds his own comfortable spot and meditates the day away.

"Now Ix there is one other important thing you must know as a Paladin your life will be very different and...you must live by certain principles and make a vow to your God witch you must live by for all of your days It is also a test you must pass." Kujoe keeps talking about things that the goblin probably does not understand. "Listen to me blabber come Ix we must be off."

Shame to hear that Colt hopefully I'll see you round the forum some time.

Kujoe smiles. "What is important is if that is what you believe in. "

"I will always think you as a dear friend Ix and I will always watch over you." He smiles but remembers to get back to business. "As a Paladin Ix you will undergo countless challenges of faith, Stength, Valor, Prowless strength and most importantly of Dark temptation to become a Paladin you must overcome these tests and learn the will of your god, Do you know what your god fights for young friend?"

Response to Casfi: "My faith is what keeps me alive, your move was foolish an unnecessary sacrifice you should be glad we recovered you friend."

Kujoe will take Ix off away from the caravan to talk with him. "Ix have you ever...prayed to Cayden." he aks he then before Ix has a chance to answer continues. "Would you give your life to aid your friends Ix."

"Anyone have a clue as to what those things were I would hate to run into them again any time soon."

Kujoe looks for the little goblin and asks if he is okay.

Everyone is quite wounded so Kujoe goes on defense dropping his weapon [Free action] Lay on hands himself [Swift action] and channeling Positive [Standard action]

For my round two action I would move and attack the swarm around the pot. or any within his threat range.

Kujoe peays to his god for power in this fight his Hammer lights on fire emanating a strange blue light.(last 5 rounds) He swing at the swarm trying to repel them more so than hit one.

Using divine bond to imbue weapon with fire.

Kujoe looks at the swarm having no clue what they are. He gets up and looks at it knowing should he have to fight he would of absolutely no use in battle he calls to the goblin to get his attention and points to the coming swarm of...things. He feels very vulnerable after what Casfi said knowing all his weapons and armor suit are made completely out of metal.

Kujoe gives a chuckle kinda figuring something like this would happen he accepts the mans request and comments "I take the hammer is made of this rare wood to eh." He then tells Ix to get down he whispers to Ix. "good one."

Kujoe hands over what is the majority of his money in return for the piece of wood. He gets Ix to try it on and ask about his preferred choice of weapon than turns to the man and says. "Got any dull blades too." He says once again being a bit of a smart-ass.

Kujoe gives a light growl type nose as he is not able to crack this safe he finally come to a agreement. "350 last offer." Kujoe will go no higher.

"And what rare woods is this fine suit made of then, or better yet what great wise blacksmith crafted it." Says Kujoe quite sarcastically. He turns to the gob and whispers. "You by chance know anything about appraising." Hoping to learn if the merchant lies or not.

btw is the amour sized for the goblin wasn't clear on that cause Kujoe isn't interested in getting a new plate for himself.

"eight hundred gold pieces you expect me to believe that that piece a wood is worth eight hundred. Your the only store in this little villa and you try to get away with selling these blokes your craft for at least 10 times it's worth bah I am sure being the only bloody store in many miles you get enough business as is you just trying to cheat me outta my coin." Kujoe obnoxiously yells at the man obviously stretching this a little to far.

Would I need to roll appraise or another skill to know how much it's actually worth.

"Greetings sir I am in search of some arms and amour for my small friend here" He says pointing to the little goblin "Was wondering what you had to offer round these parts."

Seeing as the settlement is that small Kujoe would bring the goblin to the only shop instead to get Ix some armour or new battle gear knowing that goblin craft is not the most fine of weaponry he would want to get the best deal possible and would not go for anything worse.

Provided the town had a Library Kujoe would go there as well thinking it would be great experience for the learning goblin.

Kujoe and Ix head into town and ask about as to the location of a temple in this town hoping it has one if not he would bring the gob to a general store so he can buy Ix's pickles.

Kujoe would hurry ahead of the others into town with Ix and bring him to a temple in the town hopefully no one there has a problem with it. He would also head to a shop for Ix's "sweets".

"Business then sweets." Kujoe says with a wide smile. He is quite uncertain if sweets means candy or rats.

"I think that learning more about civilization could teach you some thing's Ix and coming into the town with me is a great way to familiarize yourself with it perhaps someone there could help you with your studies to it is a great opportunity should you come with me."

Throughout the trip Kujoe would have spent as much time as he had to spare to familiarize himself with Ix and learn his motives he would also have started to begin his teaches as to how to read common. Once the sight of the settlement came into view he would whisper to Ix "Don't think the peoples here will take well to the sight of a goblin in the town stay with me if you don't want to be chased out by a crowd carrying pitchforks and torches." Kujoe smirks at his comment but means it well.

Kujoe eats his meal alone and quietly and then takes his spare time to teach Ix a thing or two. "Ix what is it that drove you to be trained as a Paladin what was your life with the goblins why did you leave." Kujoe would like to familiarize himself with the goblins motives before beginning any real paladin trading.

Kujoe laughs at Ix. "I was more under the impression of orc's and dragons Ix not...bugs you will need some skill in fighting should you wish to survive this trip young goblin." Oh yay another thing to teach :)

Kujoe keeps quiet and mostly to himself until talking to Ix once again in private. "Ix this journey will be fierce and we will encounter many dangers on our path, I was wondering what your experience with a blade is you may need some familiarizing with battle tactics."

"We should not teary here any longer this is open desert after all and not the most pleasant weather either." Kujoe explains to Ix there current task in escorting the princess and tells him to stay close and not wander.

"Ix is not like the rest of his kind. I am taking him in to train him as a Paladin though he still has a far way to go." Kujoe says in defense of Ix.

A smile rises on Kujoes face "Good, I will begin teaching as soon as I get the chance perhaps the others can help you with that as well." Kujoe stands up and help Ix stand to. "Perhaps I should introduce you to everyone." He begins to walk off and then remembers something important "The names Kujoe, Kujoe Dirte it was a pleasure to meet you Ix." He gives a slight bow and then leads him back to the others.

btw how old is Ix is it male or female.

"Your kin do not read and perhaps they would be much smarter if they did. You are different from them Ix reading can help you in countless ways you must consider it." Kujoe tries to persuade Ix that it is a good idea to learn to read.

Kujoe scans through the book but looks mostly at the pictures Ix was talking about he hands back the book and asks "Do you know how to read little one this book could teach you much about your deity." Perhaps Kujoe will have to teach Ix yet another thing.

Kujoe assumes he means Cayden Cailean he then laughs heartily at the Goblins comment. "You have much learning to do young gob, what is it you know of Cayden Cailean what is your deity's Domain hmm" Kujoe is trying to make this as simple as possible for the goblin seeing he has the potential in him he will not give up in trying to teach Ix.

Kujoe takes the gob somewhere private and sits down to have a little talk with him. "A paladin dedicates there sword to smite evil, pledges there life for justice and the servitude of the divine"Kujoe pauses "Now Ix just what god do you serve?"

"Calm yourself Leaf Ix here is not like the other savage people of his kind he can always be useful to us as well." He says to leaf he then turns to the gob and whisper to him "You watch yourself you hear Ix training as a Paladin takes more than to be strong willed do not worry I will watch over you." He gives the gob a pat on the head and motions Ix to follow him.

Though Kujoe trusts the gob he will still use detect evil to guaranty he is as stupid and safe as he looks :) Kujoe is very serious about training the gob.

Did anyone take any damage in that fight or not

"Ix so you wish to train as a Paladin eh..." Kujoe pauses and thinks a moment. "Can't say I've seen one of your kind before if you wish you can come along I can tell you your "training" wont be as simple as you think. You are different than most of your kind Ix I see potential in you.." Kujoe extends his hand for a shake with the small fellow he seems to see something special in this one but he can't put his finger on it.
