Recently, the many members of the pre-painted miniatures community at www.minisgallery.com, voted for the best pre-painted miniature products which were released in 2021. This is a fun, annual poll event for the fans of pre-painted minis. This year, the Astral Deva, from the Pathfinder Battles: Bestiary Unleashed set won the "Best Medium-sized Pre-painted Miniature" award. Congratulations Paizo! Paizo appeared to have this category locked, as the second most voted miniature in this category was Allevrah Azrinae, from the Pathfinder Battles: Darklands Rising set. It looks like there is a change of format for the next Pathfinder Battles set: Impossible Lands. Impossible Lands gallery at MinisGallery.com The order information available to retailer's on WizKid's Solicits page, reflects the following: Impossible Lands consists of 6 Boxed sets of miniatures:
While the image names for these sets include a reference to a miniature number (ranging from 001 to 047), it appears that only 34 minis will be included in this set. I'm hoping that someone from Paizo can please answer these questions: 1. Has this set been changed in format from 47 minis in a random booster box format to 32 minis to a visible box format?
I'm would like to update my gallery and database at www.minisgallery.com, and I have not been able to find a lot of information about some of the promos and their status for the last 2 years. I was wondering if anyone here has attended recent conventions and may know if any of these miniatures were provided, and if so, at what convention? 1. Gnome Hook Hammer Lurker *1 (Image)

The last one, the Kobold Spearmaster was recently found on eBay recently, but that was the first I have heard of this. Are there any other Pathfinder Battles promo minis I have not currently recorded? MinisGallery Pathfinder Battles Promos
We got a preview of some of the pieces for this set back in Feb 2019. ICv2 has now posted more preview pictures: https://icv2.com/articles/news/view/43437/wizkids-visits-the-goblin-village The gate is within a palisade wall, however all the wall pieces of the set are not palisades. Thematically, the gate and the walls really don't seem to go together? I'm just curious if this was always the plan or did keeping down costs necessitate a redesign of palisade walls to fence-like walls? (I do like the design of the fence walls, but I have to admit that I sort of preferred the idea of palisade walls as I could see those coming into use a lot more than fence-like walls.)
I have the following order in my side cart (has been there for about 1 year due to some unfortunate developer delays): Starfinder Miniatures: Iconic Heroes Set 1
These items are now on the shelves of retailers. Could you please advise if Paizo has received these, or if somehow my order was missed. Thank you.
Paizo has traditionally provided 1-2 miniatures at GenCon either for those making purchases at their on-site store and/or for those partaking in sessions in the Paizo gaming room. Does anyone know if this happened again this year? If minis were provided, could you please let me know what they were. Also, if anyone is able to take a photo of the promo mini(s) provided and provide it to me, I would be greatly appreciative. You can either e-mail me the photos or post them on the forum at:
Hi all, I maintain a fan-site and picture gallery for Pathfinder pre-painted miniatures. At this year's PaizoCon there was a promo miniature given to the attendees - a repainted Skeleton Champion. I am trying to find a picture of this mini, but have not had any luck so far. If you have this mini and are able to take a picture of it, I would greatly appreciate it, so that I can update the website. If you can help out, please e-mail the picture to me. (My e-mail address is on my profile). Also, if you could let me know what the name of the mini is that appeared on the plastic bag it would have been packaged in -- that would be great too. Thank you,
8 Wizards enter... 1 Wizard leaves! Since the rise of the first colleges of magic in the lands, there seemed to be a need to prove which school was more powerful and which wizards were the most clever. The annual Wizard's Duel was born from this desire to prove who is the ultimate magician in the realms. I want to tinker around with an arena-based wizard's duel. Since 5th edition does not let you layer up spells like the past editions, I'm not sure how this would impact this classic type of duel. I have some ideas about how to make it more interesting, but I need a sandbox of Guinea pigs to play with... that's where all of you come in. I would like 8 volunteers to battle it out in a pvp arena. There will be 2 matches:
Match 2: This will be a battle to the death. Characters will be fully rested / healed, between these 2 matches. Match 1 Info: I will not be revealing specific details about the arena size, layout or objective, until the start of combat round 1. A unique challenge you face will be to determine whether to go for the objective outright, eliminate your competition, or make a dash for a random helpful potion. Character Creation Info:
I have no idea about the level of interest for this game, so I will likely just go with the first 8 people that express interest. If for some reason there are a lot of people that express interest before I announce the end to the recruitment, then I will just roll randomly to pick players. Posting-wise, you should be able to post at least once per day... but hopefully more. (Weekdays, I will only be able to check posts in the evenings -- I am in Western Canada MST/GMT-7 time zone). All character actions will be declared either on the message thread or via personal message if secrecy is required (i.e. if you are invisible/hidden). I will use Google Spreadsheet to show the combat map/grid. Players will need to refer to the grid coordinates they are moving to. I am hoping to start in the next few days -- dependent on interest of course. "There can only be one!"
I am collating a list of RPG News sites and I’d like to know what web sites / social media sites people here like to visit for their Pathfinder RPG news (including third party Pathfinder RPG products and related RPG products). The main sites I frequent are:
What are some other good RPG news sites that are frequently updated with the latest information and scoops on Pathfinder RPG and related RPG products?
Let me preface this by saying I can be picky about small details which probably bother few others... I have been looking for bases identical in appearance to bases which the D&D and Pathfinder Battles miniatures mounted are on. Now when I say identical, I do mean identical. I have yet to find a plastic base that lacks a beveled edge, and a smooth yet not glossy surface. Two of the main bases I am using now are Litko's acrylic bases (which are the right height, but are extremely glossy/shiny (and love to capture fingerprints). I also loaded up with a bunch of the new bases Reaper made along with their Bones miniatures, however these bases are quite a bit higher and they have a textured top surface (which is great if you are planning to glue flock or other material to detail it). I have re-purposed many miniatures from other sets (i.e. Heroscape) and have very slowly been painting up some of my Reaper Bones miniatures. For reasons I am unable to explain (other than an OCD-like need for consistency), I am just not fully happy with the bases I have been using. Since I can't seem to find exactly what I am looking for, I am considering having the bases manufactured. I would like to release these in a Kickstarter campaign, and would ideally like to have small, medium and large bases all be part of the main funding goals. Larger and smaller bases might also be added as additional pledge goals. I want the bases to also have the recessed area underneath the base, as this allows for magnets to be added for those that use Alea Tools' base markers/counters (which are awesome by the way, even though I don't use the magnets.) My immediate concern, is that I'm uncertain if there really is much demand for these since there are so many other plastic bases out there and most people are not as picky as myself. To determine if there is a demand for these bases I am soliciting feedback. If this is a product that would interest you, please let me know. Thank you.
Pathfinder Society players are a pretty dedicated lot, so I'm sure some of you must have attended GenCon 2015? I host a pre-painted miniatures gallery site (<url=http://www.pathfinderminis.com>www.pathfinderminis.com</url& gt;), and I have been trying to find someone who has 2 of the special miniatures which were handed out to players at the convention. The miniatures were a "Fire Beetle" and a "Duergar Soldier". If by any chance you have these miniatures, could you please take a picture of them and send it to me (admin@pathfinderminis.com). If you have a camera with a macro setting, that would be great, but at this stage I'll take any photo I can get that shows the miniatures in relative clarity. Thank you.
I was very surprised to learn today that Paizo has partnered up with perhaps the most unethical common carrier operating in North America. Sadly UPS abuses an oversight in Canadian transportation laws to legally extort handling fees for your parcels. In Canada when items arrive, tax (GST) is collected by the carrier and remitted to the government. When these items are shipped via the postal service, for any items over $25 in value, Canada post will charge a $5.00 handling fee for processing the tax. (So essentially, items under $25.00 in value do not get taxed and there are no fees involved). Common carriers however may charge any amount they wish for a handling fee. UPS takes advantage of this by having extraordinarily high fees. Sadly they will not release how they assess their handling fees. When I asked UPS if the fee is based on the value of the item, they replied "sort of". So basically the more expensive the item is, the more they will charge. And their charges are huge and often may exceed the value of the item! Recent Example:
This year I bought 2 clothing items from the U.S. (the items were made in China -- which meant that 18% duty also had to be collected). I paid about $50 for the items from the retailer, and $20 for the items to be shipped. Taxes and duty added about another $12.00, and UPS threw a $38.00 handling fee on that. So for shipping charges alone, this would have cost $58 for $50 worth of clothes. (This of course was my mistake because I always ask U.S. sellers if they will ship via USPS (United State Postal Service), when there is no postal shipping option -- most sellers will usually agree to this. I completed the transaction too haphazardly and didn't notice that the method of shipping was UPS). The reason why this is allowable in Canada, is because Canadians always have the option to "self-clear" a package -- even when it is in the possession of a common carrier. (Of course they don't mention that to you). All you need to do is print off a copy of the invoice/purchase transaction and get a copy of the shipping manifest from the common carrier. Then just go down to the nearest Canada Border Services Agency office, fill out a form and self-clear at $0 cost (other than having to pay any duty or taxes). (In my case this is a feasible option as the border services office is close to the UPS depot). I am concerned that some of my fellow Canadians who read the e-mailed message from Paizo might think that switching over to UPS would be a faster way to receive their packages. (While it might be fast, it is not cheaper... not by a long shot!) Also, although Canada Post is expected to collect tax on items valued over $25... I usually find this threshold to be closer to $80 -- so there are no extra charges to me when shipped via post. (I just received a Paizo parcel today valued at $68.47 U.S., and there were no extra charges.) So, in summary... Canadians DO NOT use UPS!!!!!
Hi all, I am currently looking for submissions for a special gallery I am considering hosting. I greatly enjoy looking at some of the repainted Pathfinder Battles miniatures that others have done and they give me great inspiration when repainting some of my own. The 1 mini that I have added to the gallery is a perfect example of that. http://www.pathfinderminis.com/custom.htm If you are interested in submitting your own pictures, then please read the submission information at the bottom of the page. Please note that I am only accepting submissions for repainted/modified Pathfinder Battles miniatures.

I am a Pathfinder Battles subscriber and if I recall, as being a subscriber, I am able to apply to a special discount code to non-subscription PB miniatures. (I remember doing this for the Champions of Evil, and We Be Goblins sets). I can't remember how to do this now, and with the Iconics sets soon to come out, I would like to start applying any extra discounts I might have available. Can you please let me know what I need to do. Thank you.
The Kickstarter for a Pre-painted covered wagon has returned and has already funded. Take a look at this Kickstarter and help support it if you can. Its a great project and also has some other unique reward levels which can be unlocked (such as the camp tent).
As a pre-painted miniatures collector and a GM, I relish the opportunities to raid my miniature stock and throw down a hand full of orcs, skeletons or goblins for the players to encounter. As a GM, keeping track of HP's of each creature can be a little confusing, especially of the creatures which have a fair amount of hit points, and move around quite a bit each turn. Over the last year I have been using the Alea Tools base markers to keep track of my bad guys. Using their adhesive number strips, the ability to track each bad guy by number is made very easy. The intent of these base markers though, was that they expected people to buy their metal stickers to be affixed to the bases of your miniatures. (Clearly not an option given the amount of minis in my collection). While its nice to have the bases themselves to be magnetic for stacking/storage purposes, I felt like I was missing out on one of the key features of the bases. Since I did not apply magnetic backers to my minis, I often found I was having to try to slide the minis around to keep them from falling off the base. It was a bit clumsy at times, but it worked good. One day I decided to place a small ball of Super Sculpey clay on the marker and place a mini on it. It held really well. Although Sculpey is not tacky to the touch, it really bonded the mini well to the base marker. When it came time to remove it, it remove very easily and left no residue. I have continued to use the same pieces of Sculpey over and over again and I do not find it to be loosing its tackiness. I thought this might be worth mentioning to others who would like a nice clean way of attaching and detaching their minis to numbered bases.
Hi all, I will be playing my first Inquisitor tomorrow and I wanted a quick and handy reference for their Judgement powers and their Teamwork feat swap-outs, so I decided to make some cards with these abilities. The PDF's below make 2.5-inch x 3.5 inch cards which you can cut out and place in a collector's trading card clear plastic sleeve. Judgement Cards

Please describe your appearance to the other characters, and what you are doing in Haldors Spring. (Are you a resident? A merchant? A traveller? A mercenary for hire? etc.) Once everyone has posted, I'll start us up with Day 1 of the adventure.
Inspired by others running similar campaigns and in the spirit of October (Halloween), I have decided to mercilessly pit a few would-be heroes against the forces of shambling undeath. This will be a low roleplay, high combat, short adventure. If I do my job right, there will be a few deaths along the way, so I'm going to start this with 8 players and run the adventure until everyone is dead, or until the final plot point is reached (which means some heroes actually survived). The campaign setting is Golarion, in 1000 years from the current setting date. Adventure Background
With all necromancers killed, necromancy spells destroyed, negative planar artifacts obliterated and all undead hunted to extinction, Golarion has prospered for the better. Many of the common populace doubt that the undead in the tales which bards tell, ever existed at all. Life in Haldors Spring is quite peaceful. Founded over 100 years ago, the township of 70 persons simply serves as a waypoint for travellers in Taldor. Its most notable feature is the spring-fed well in the middle of town, which provides crystal clear, pure water. Sages over the years have studied the purported curing properties of the water, however no trace of magical augmentation has ever been found. General Adventure Info:

Good Luck all!
I have a friend that is a collector and he is looking for a list of all Paizo Pathfinder RPG Products (Printed Material). I think he is just looking for something he can copy and paste into Word or Excel so he can catalogue what he has and what he needs to get. Does anyone know if such a list exists somewhere?
I just wanted to make a quick inquiry about the licensing of Paizo Intellectual Property rights. Hypothetically, lets say I wanted to produce a set of pre-painted miniatures with a Vudrani theme. I understand that if I wanted to put "Pathfinder Compatible" on the package, that I would have to apply for a Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Compatibility License, however this would not permit me to use IP property such as the name "Vudrani". Would I need to enter into a separate licence agreement to use IP content? I'm also assuming that such an agreement would require a licence fee, and if so are such licence fees typically a flat rate, or production amount based? I am aware that any sculpts created could not be based on existing Pathfinder artwork. (I'm guessing such licensing restrictions do not apply to the Reaper minis, since they are described as being "partners" in the Pathfinder Miniatures line?) Note: The above are just hypothetical (fact-finding) questions at this time. Thank you.
I have been hosting a website (www.pathfinderminis.com) for over a year, dedicated to displaying all of Paizo's Pathfinder Battles line of pre-painted plastic miniatures. I would like to expand my existing website to include a search utility that will allow a person to display miniatures in a gallery format, based on criteria selected by a user. (i.e. a user could search for "orcs", and will see a gallery of all orc pre-painted minis displayed.) There would also be more criteria that could be selected, but this should convey the basic idea of what I would like to do. I would like the site to pull from a data group of all fantasy pre-painted plastic miniatures (D&D Miniatures, Paizo Pathfinder Battles, and Dungeon Crawler Miniatures). My coding is limited to html and javascript. I am looking for a volunteer from the gaming community who perhaps shares the passion of my hobby and would be able to write the needed code for me. To my understanding, either ASP.NET or PHP would be the best way to code this. I will take care of all the data portion of the project. (I will code all the information / data / images on each miniature in the chosen format by the coder.) If you can help out with this endeavor, please send me a message. Thank you.

I just wanted to let everyone know that there is currently a Kickstarter campaign running for Low Life. This is a hilarious and creative rpg concept which started as Savage Worlds supplement. Currently there is a Kickstarter running for this, however it's core focus right now is for developing a Savage Worlds rulebook. A Pathfinder version is included as a goal in the Kickstarter, and Andy Hopp has stated that he will create it if 1 of these 2 criteria are met: 1. They reach the $100,000 goal in their Kickstarter project; or
I ask all Low Life fans and followers to consider a donation to this project (even a small nominal donation) to try to boost the number of supporters to 1000.
It looks like the old thread has been purged. Please use this thread for discussion of anything appearing at www.pathfinderminis.com PathfinderMinis is a fan site dedicated to displaying all pre-painted plastic miniatures made by Paizo. If you have any suggestions for this site, notice any errors or have other feedback, please feel free to post your comment in this thread.
I often see people inquiring about what to do with their broken miniatures. To assist with this, and the usual questions that come up, I have created a brief guide on how to present a product replacement claim to WizKids. I hope some people may find this to be helpfull:
