Officially back from all the craziness. I see I'm not up in initiative yet so will wait to post but wanted to let you know I have finally returned.

My initial issues have now turned into two unplanned trips. I literally just got home from trip one and am about to sleep, then I'm out of pocket again from Thursday through Sunday this weekend.

After that, I should be back to normal with posting daily etc.

I apologize again, but life threw me a couple really rough curveballs this month.

By the book, I can give the long term care to up to 6 people, but I wasn't sure how many I actually could give it to and still have people on watch, as receiving it seems to imply that they aren't getting out of bed at all.

Sisu, taking a short nap after tending to the gnoll during the day, hears Mordred's call and staggers to her feet and out the door.

She tries to stay out of view as she stares towards the quiet sounds.

Assuming that we're going to rest the night, the day, and the next night to get everyone back on track

"I'll take second watch tonight and tomorrow. The highly injured should rest and not be asked to guard."

I'm unsure if someone can take advantage of long term care and still take a shift on watch or if they have to stay inactive all day. The way I read it anyone who takes a shift on watch won't get the extra benefit, but feel free to correct me. In any case I can watch half the night and do the 8 hours needed to give long term care during the day, still leaving me enough time to rest myself.

In the morning, Sisu creates two infusions and gives them to Garrasay and Mordred, and spends the day keeping an eye on the wounded gnoll.
Provide Long Term Care: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21
YAY It's high enough to give the benefit

CLW Garrasay: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9
CLW Mordred: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9

In addition to the healing infusions, anyone taking normal rest for the two nights should get 4HP; 2 each night. Garrasay (and anyone else who gets the advantage of the long term care) should get 10HP (8 from the 24-hour care and 2 from the second night)

I don't remember an already established watch order. I'm good with any shift (darkvision and endure elements are good for cold nights and I have no need for uninterrupted rest to regain slots or anything), so I'll leave it to the others who might have preferences.

When they arrive at the lodge, Kishai immediately gets Garrasay situated before the fire to keep him warm. Even after regaining consciousness he is in need of rest and attention.

"Does anyone else have any healing ability? We are torn up enough that I recommend we rest for a full day to get everyone back on their feet."

As she putters about getting things set up, she looks towards the door.

"We also should make sure that we set up a guard. I am happy to take any shift that is needed"

If we're doing a full 24-hour rest I'll be happy to do a heal check roll. Additionally I can still throw a CLW on the two lowest during that day of rest.

Just want to verify with the group that they're on board with a 24-hour pause of mission.

OK, so back at the lodge we rest. Everyone gets 2 HP overnight from natural healing. That puts us at:

Me: 14/17
Satu: 10/20
Mordred: 6/21
Garrasay: 2/21

In the morning I can do 2 CLW (for Mordred and Garrasay)
That still puts us with 3 people at about half health or less...
Should we rest for longer than overnight?

No, I'm out of CLW extracts for the day. Everyone is stabilized and no one is dead, but we're pretty out of sorts in terms of health for now.

Garrasay is stabilized but unconscious

Do we have anyone with healing abilities besides myself? I can only do 2 CLWs a day which is limiting at the moment.

Before I do my post, I know sometimes snow is difficult terrain. Is this nice snow or mean snow?

Asking as whether or not I can 5' step makes a big difference with potential full round attacks.

GM: Since you mention the environment, Kishai always starts off the day with one extract slot used up, since as soon as her slots refresh the first thing she does is make and use endure elements. That's why I skip the rolls even though I don't have actual gear or a trait or anything.

I'm pretty sure the companions are previous PCs who GM was keeping on as support until their replacements were recruited, so they can probably fade away. In terms of the party of seven we should do a roll call to see who is still active after the game stalled.

Just a heads up...I'm about to head out for a vacation. I'm leaving on Wednesday and coming back on the 22nd. Sorry for late reply, I didn't even see GM's post. I assume this would be a knowledge(religion) thing if anything, but in case it's nature:
