Male Skinwalker (Coldborn) Barbarian (Invulnerable Rager) 1

Sorry. Been kinda busy the last few days, we just had our yearly rebid for shifts, so there's been a lot going on. But yeah, that's what was in the spoiler for me above. Ghost Sound, presumably.

Someone trying to make fun of us? Satu growls between her teeth.
What is it with haunted girls in this forest? Either we go or we ignore it. I don't like being made fun of though. Not one bit.

M Gnoll Magus (Nature bonded) 2: HP 16/21| AC16 (20) tch10 FF16 (20) | CMD14/FF14 | F6 R0 W3

"rgrgrgrrgr. More fey tricks then? Should we confront them and suffer their antics or move on and hope that they don't follow and pester us. rrgrRRrrrr"

Male Skinwalker (Coldborn) Barbarian (Invulnerable Rager) 1

”I’m not sure they are mocking us. Trying to lure us in, perhaps. Or scare us away. It’s hard to say, given that we don’t know where the sound is coming from.”

female half-elf AC 18 | Fort +4; Ref +9; Will +5 | HP 19 | Resistances cold 1 | Perception +5; low-light vision

Don't know. We should go on. Every minute we stand around here is wasted.
Satu shrugs and then turns to proceed through the valley.

M Gnoll Magus (Nature bonded) 2: HP 16/21| AC16 (20) tch10 FF16 (20) | CMD14/FF14 | F6 R0 W3

Garrasay carefully proceeded, his eyes darting from one snowy nook to another looking for danger. Petal rustled anxiously as he too was on guard for an ambush.

You proceed into the valley, each of you on edge and being cautious in your own way. The sounds drift away and the valley grows silent, until....at about half way through the valley, a large whirlwind of white snow appears at the end. In a very, unnaturally controlled manner, it advances upon you!

To clarify, the whirlwhind is only about 5 feet diameter at the base, but widens to about 15-20 feet.

Initiatives:
Satu: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10
Cnut: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16
Garrasay: 1d20 ⇒ 17
Mordred: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 1 = 17
Kishai: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7
Whirlwind: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
Another player?: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26
What another player?: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19

Before anyone can react, a small, winged creature appears atop the rocks to the southwest. It instantly fires out 3 missiles of force, which launch out and slam into Mordred.

Magic missile: 3d4 + 3 ⇒ (3, 3, 1) + 3 = 10

A moment after that, another small creature appears...small, but not flying...from this distance it's hard for you to make out what it is to the north. It scrambles down the rocky slope toward you.

10 damage to Mordred!

Initiative bold you're up:
Flier to the south
Figure to the north
Mordred
Garrasay
Cnut
Whirlwind
Satu
Kishai

"GrrraAaaaH!" Garrasay shouted in frustration. Knowing that it was likely an ambush didn't make being ambushed any more pleasant. Petal quickly retreated into the relative safety of Garrasay's pack as the gnoll pushed forward through the snow.

Having learned his lesson from the encounter with the weasel, he quickly summoned forth his magical shield and prepared his flail.

Cast shield (AC20), quickdraw flail, move forward (what are the movement penalties in this area?)

Six inches of snow, so hampered movement it costs double to move each square, or 1.5 if you have showshoes. There are no 5-foot steps, or any combat actions that won't work with hampered movement, like charge.

HP 16/17 | AC:16 T:12 FF:14 | CMD:16 FF:14 | F+4 R+5 W+2 | Extract slots remaining: 2/3 | Extracts Prepared: None | Mutagen (STR) 1/1 | Active Conditions: endure elements (all day)

Officially back from all the craziness. I see I'm not up in initiative yet so will wait to post but wanted to let you know I have finally returned.

M Gnoll Magus (Nature bonded) 2: HP 16/21| AC16 (20) tch10 FF16 (20) | CMD14/FF14 | F6 R0 W3

Moved forward at half speed, position adjusted on the map

Male Skinwalker (Coldborn) Barbarian (Invulnerable Rager) 1

Cnut quickly casts Mage Armor, then moves toward the flying creature.

Mordred curses in pain and growls in frustration, seeing another of these vile flying creatures hovering up high. He knows that he can't reach the creature, and so moves to the north, pulling one of his cold iron throwing axes on the way. He readies himself to hurl it at the creature scrabbling down the slope towards them, should it get into range.

Cnut and Garrasay move and spread out into the valley; confronted by multiple enemies at many angles, they try and figure on which to focus.

The whirlwind suddenly condenses down into a vaguely humanoid shape and flies in with incredible speed to attempt to slam Garrasay with the force of the very air around him.

Slam: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24
Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

5 Damage to Garrasay!

Initiative bold you're up:
Flier to the south
Figure to the north
Mordred
Garrasay
Cnut
Whirlwind
Satu
Kishai

female half-elf AC 18 | Fort +4; Ref +9; Will +5 | HP 19 | Resistances cold 1 | Perception +5; low-light vision

Seeing the onslaught on her friends, Satu let's out a mighty
RRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWRRRRRRRRR and moves up next to the airy whirlwind.

Claw: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 6 + 2 = 181d4 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 5 + 2 = 10

Raging. Thanks to the Snowstepper trait, Satu can ignore difficult terrain caused by snow.

Satu swiftly moves forward and swipes at the creature, hoping not to merely swing through insubstantial mist. Instead, her claw swings through and parts the beast's form, taking much of the creature'f form along with it.

It appears to have done damage; Kishai is up!

Kishai moves up towards the whirlwind, coming up behind it in order to surround the strange creature. Double move, flanking

The flier to the south moves down above the rocky cliff, to hover above you. Hover: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (5) + 10 = 15 You can see it a bit closer now, and the small creature looks like a blue skinned hag with evil yellow eyes. I cackles and waves its hands in an incantation. Immediately, Garrasay and Mordred feel their armor grow cold.

Will save DC14 - either from your armor or you...whichever is greater.

The creature to the north scrabbles down the slope, seeming to half run...though on all fours, and half float as it skims the cliff face down.

Initiative bold you're up:
Flier to the south
Figure to the north
Mordred
Garrasay
Cnut
Whirlwind
Satu
Kishai

will: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21

spellcraft on incantation: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18

Though his armour began to turn cold from whatever incantation had been cast, Garrasay was able to shake off the effect of the spell.

Suddenly beset on all sides by foes, he snarled and focused his attention on the wind thing that had just slammed into him.

flail: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
damage (b): 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

"Rraaawrrrrr! More fey and their minions? How many of these vile creatures infest this forest? RrrrrRAArrrrR"

Garrasay recognizes the spell as Chill metal; he's thankful that his will overcame the effects of it

Male Skinwalker (Coldborn) Barbarian (Invulnerable Rager) 1

Cnut unleashes a ray of fire at the flying creature, then moves closer to the party.

Attack (Touch): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
Damage (Fire): 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
