Female Kitsune Oracle 1
The foxling moves to where she can finally see the kobold at the edges of her limited field of vision and assesses its weaponry, looking to see if there is a part of it that looks flammable. If there is a part of the sling that is flammable, any part including the bindings, that she can see and is able to get within the 25' range without triggering the trap or falling into the water, she will attempt to cast her cantrip Spark on that piece. Her intent is to try and break the weapon apart by burning away the bindings or ties, or to get the kobold to drop it. However, Spark is a non-offensive spell so any effects it may have, including complete failure, is completely up to the GM.

Kin'zu moves closer to where she can hear the brunt of the fight taking place, but is unable to get close enough to see. She directs her wisps to attempt to harass the bull man for as long as they can; doubting they can do anything but trying a futile action is better than nothing.
Female Kitsune Oracle 1
Kin'zu knows that her wisps can travel more than three times the limit of her sight, so despite not being able to see the battle she calls upon them once more and sends them out to harass the bull; hoping to distract or annoy it. Kin'zu will cast Dancing Lights then move as close to the river as she is able to, if she is able to. Dancing Lights is not an offensive cast so whatever effect it has on the minotaur, if any, is up to the GM. The light orbs can move 100 feet away from the caster before they become immobile; they resume activities once the caster is back within 100 feet.
Female Kitsune Oracle 1
Kin'zu picks up the healing wand and looks at her companions, silently questioning if they minded if she held on to it as she had depleted her naturally occurring healing. She then hands the tanglefoot bag to Tsukai, This may come in handy and I believe that you may have the best chance of using such trickery aptly. In fact, the thunderstone may be useful as well.
Female Kitsune Oracle 1
The foxling gives a shrug as she replies, I may be wrong as I have never encountered such a thing. When I read about the phenomenon I had taken both the ability to divide, as well as the fact a glob of semi-viscous matter could be sentient enough to be an issue, as mad. Now that I see a puddle attempting to attach itself to Tsukai, possibly to feed, I have to reconsider my position.
Female Kitsune Oracle 1
Kin'zu watches Gabby's attempt at slicing the ooze and tries to remember something. Is it possible that slicing through such a thing can cause it to become two smaller yet fully functional pieces? Or does it have to be more gelatinous for such a phenomenon to occur? I cannot quite remember.
Female Kitsune Oracle 1
We should probably make sure that these are the only creatures here; it would probably be irresponsible of us to let one linger to ambush the next person who sojourns to this place. It may also be prudent of us to discuss the desecrated dead with one still living. It may also be wise to try and further examine what we have found so far to see if they may be of use to us.
Female Kitsune Oracle 1
Not seeing any option other than to deplete her healing magic to roust Gabby, she does what she can. She does so silently, all but afraid to voice the obvious that she will now be nothing but a burden to the party in case the others have not noticed that point. CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
Female Kitsune Oracle 1
Yes and no. I can only heal like this once more before I am forced to recuperate, which will take time I do not think we have if we are to finish exploring this cave system tonight. Personally I am of the opinion of waiting to aid his healing until after this walking corpse is no longer shambling. It looks like he is stable, at least for now, though I fear if he were to get up once more he would just be bounced off the wall again. Kin'zu will go on the defensive near Gabby.
Female Kitsune Oracle 1
Just to clarify, as I was on Round 4 by now so it looked like things got resorted to fit some clarifications in - has Kin'zu used one or two CLW spells this fight? Originally I had them used on Rounds 2 and 3 (one on the unconscious cleric, one on the cocky mage) with a step back for Round 4. Just want to make sure of how many Level 1 spells Kin'zu has left as that will determine her next move.
Female Kitsune Oracle 1
Also, according to this obviously biased information page, Kin'zu's Realistic Likeness feat has unlimited casts per day so long as she is in her human form... true? And bite attack... piercing damage??
Female Kitsune Oracle 1
Linguistics: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7 Kin'zu looks at the talkative arcanist then to her quarterstaff and back again before raising an eyebrow. Stabby stabby and choppy choppy? And do feel free to enter before me. Had they been just bones I might have been able to contribute more as I am now.
Female Kitsune Oracle 1
Question regarding the kitsune's Change Shape ability. I know it can be cast once per day (assuming per rest), however, does that start once cast or once released? Kin'zu usually holds her human form unless circumstance requires her to revert to her true form. Therefore, does she need to rest before she can resume her humanoid or doppelganger forms, or can she revert to her true form and then assume another? Is there a clarification somewhere or is it GM's ruling?
Female Kitsune Oracle 1
Kin'zu looks over at their religious comrade and asks with a shrug Have you any theory as to why Absalom is enshrined in a cave that seems to be devoted to Aroden? I am a child of Gozreh and have no knowledge past what lies beyond the surface of his tenants. Other than that, I am guessing that we press onwards with our exploration.
Female Kitsune Oracle 1
Kin'zu looks over at the miniature city and once again calls upon the wisps and directs them over to it, hoping they could shush off the crawlies and get a better view. Once she has seen all she can of if, as she will not get into the water, she will turn to the lone gillman and ask quietly, Would you be able to tell us anything of that stone city? Stuffs: Diplo: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28
Female Kitsune Oracle 1
The woman gives a small, but genuine, smile at his words. Thank you. Though, ironically, for the space that I can see, I can see perfectly. No matter how light or dark it is. However, I cannot see color in the dark. Her smile turns to a slight frown. Hmm. Perhaps we should actually rescue our comrade before he gets into too much trouble.
Female Kitsune Oracle 1
Kin'zu gives a nod at the cleric's religious knowledge. That seems plausible with the information we have at our disposal. I guess we will not be completely sure until the Society sends out experts in the fields of history and religion. We should go find our other compatriots before someone starts another war, however unintentional. Unfortunately, I am not sure if I can see where they went. When we first started out I had asked our arcane... friend... if he had experience with the Obscuring Mist spell. My reason was not to be told it was a useful spell and be blown off without further comment, but to make it a point of reference. The world I walk in the exact opposite of that spell. I can see for approximately thirty feet around me. Beyond that is a thick wall of fog. I can see nothing beyond that. Needless to say, please do not walk too far in front of me.
Female Kitsune Oracle 1
The hooded woman frowns at the seemingly flippant attitude of her mage companion and mutters, though it sounds more like growls, something in her native trade tongue, doubting any had been that far East to have ever heard it. Tien:
Do not assume right and walk away, justify your reasoning or all you are doing is pushing your beliefs regardless of circumstance or accuracy. She then turns to the other human and asks him in quiet Common, And what say you? Is his declaration a true possibility? Or is it the declaration of the ignorant seeing what they want to and demanding it to be true?
Female Kitsune Oracle 1
A low growls of frustration hangs low in Kin'zu's very human (looking) throat as her fingers trace lightly over the petroglyphs. What is the point of learning so many languages if I cannot understand the meaning behind the communication. She gives a sigh and continues to study the images before adding Almost all of my studies have been centered around linguistics and nature and neither seem to truly help here. If I have to speak my supposition, I would have to confess that this is most likely a narration of something historical or of religious belief... or both. I say this due to how intricately and deeply the relief is carved; that indicates something of major significance to those shown. The fact that they appear in a cave and not a remnant of a city reduces the likelihood of this depicting a normal king or leader but one who may have been considered to have god-like powers or foresight. Considering the fact that the images depict humanoids and the seemingly ancient age of them, the most logical inference would be that this is a tale of historical, and / or religious importance to early humans. A myth or legend of some kind. But as to what the myth or legend might be, it is beyond the limits of my own knowledge. And with this being purely supposition without the references to back my speculation, I could very well be wrong about everything.
Female Kitsune Oracle 1
Kin'zu will take a closer look at the cloak. Kin'zu had cast Detect Magic before descending into the pit, was she able to tell if it was a magical item? She then looks through the items in Janira's bag and wages an internal debate before speaking again. While these items belong to our guide, if I understand her intentions correctly, then she freely offered their use to us before leading that thing away from us. So long as we can agree that proper ownership will return to the Halfling if and when we rejoin with her, I concur that we should assimilate these items with our own for the time being. They help no one ferreted away in her pack and their use could prove vital if we encounter something we have not otherwise prepared for. That being said, we should also acquire Tsukai's opinion and if we can reach an agreement, then we should divide the contents in a way that the items can be used by the ones who can make us of them.
Female Kitsune Oracle 1
Kin'zu nods and sets her pack aside before taking the offered rope end. She bows her head and places one hand over her eyes as she mouths something, then carefully makes her way to the pack to retrieve it. Actions: Kin'zu will cast Detect Magic before descending. She will retrieve the pack as quickly as possible. Climb: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8 Am assuming she will also get an assist to the climb check.
