Altin dashes the fire opal onto the stone floor in front of him. With a rush of air, a large, man-shaped fire appears. Altin points at the disgusting undead creature, and shouts, "Destroy this abomination!"
The elemental attacks the undead king.
DC 16 Reflex save for each hit, or takes 1d8 burn at the start of its turn.
Not exactly sure of positioning, but obviously I'm looking to optimise its presence and get a full attack - from what I remember from the last photo of the map that shouldn't be a problem, but if anything's changed I want to make sure a full attack can happen.
Shattering the fire opal behind the undead king in the grease, a towering man-shaped fire looms large and throttles the undead king with its fiery limbs!
GNNNAAAAARRRGHHH!!!
56 damage total now! Reflex saves vs burn 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8 and 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10... Looks like the mummy is going up in flames!
The fire ignites the undead king’s wrappings, incinerating him in mere seconds!
All that remains among the smoking ashes are his bronze breastplate, golden headdress, and charred bones...
Wulfgar Ivarsson wrote: On the last map, Wulfgar was south-east of Bogud, I'm assuming they are in the same locations. Has the grease been dispearsed? I assume the 10 ft square is behind and beside, is it to the east or west? I'm asking because if it's to the west Wulfgar will 5 ft step to begin to flank
'I cannot give in to fear, fear is the mind killer.' Regaining his composure, Wulfgar stops squeezing his sword like a stuffed toy as he grasps it by the handle properly, he lifts it overhead, "Bertlham, 'ach HuDmeyDaq mungDaj Ha' 'oH lom nep'a' maH HajchoHtaHvIS wej maH." He then swings the greatsword at the undead king.
Rage: AC -2 attack: great sword, If the floor beside Bogud to the east is clear he will 5 ft step
[dice=attack]1d20 + 8 for [dice=damage]2d6 + 9
** spoiler omitted **
Wulfgar’s mighty strike hews through ancient bronze plate, funeral wrappings, and clay-like sinew!
ARRRrrrGGGggnnnff!!!
32 damage in the hole!

As he begins prone when he provoked the AoO, he suffers a -4 to AC vs melee attacks, bringing his AC to 16...missed crit confirmation by 1 point! Unfortunately, this means the DR soaks all Vanna’s damage...
Despite what would be a killing stab on a mortal foe, the king seems unperturbed...
The gladius seems to have little effect, despite so critical a location...

[ooc]Down 21 damage!
The mummy attempts to stand in the grease patch, provoking AoO from Giovanna (Wulfgar is paralyzed)...1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3... The resulting comedy has a negating effect on its aura of despair!
The undead king slips and slides about like a turtle on its back in Altin’s magical grease!
Using second move action to try to stand up...1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19...success!
Finally, it manages to balance itself upright for a moment!

Hacking away at its flailing feet seems to do little damage...
Reflex save vs DC 14 grease 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13 fails!
A patch of magical grease, 10-feet across, appears beneath and behind the undead king, who immediately slips and falls supine!
WHA—whOAH!! *OOF!!*
Volreg’s bolt flies true, lodging in the undead king’s throat! The monster lurches, but remains on its feet...
So far, after DR, the king has taken a total of 18 damage...

king Bogud swats Vanna's thrust aside...
King Bogud lurches stiffly down the corridor into the light of Wulfgar's halo, revealing a mummified figure clad in ancient, dusty bronze breastplate, ornate headdress, and other ornaments of ancient African royalty... Twin red hellfires burn in the hollow eye sockets, the nearly skeletal face twisted in a mask of undying fury!
A wave of despair washes over the nearest adventurers... Will save DC 16 or paralyzed with fear for 1d4 ⇒ 1 rounds: Wulfgar, Altin, and Sulayman...
Good first blood, Wulfgar!
Wulfgar’s pilum pierces the ancient king’s shoulder, lodging fast in dry, withered sinew...
Ungh!!
The Thieves have suffered my scorpion darts and my killing fog... Now they will suffer the wrath of King Bogud for daring to disturb my rest!
A sepulchral grinding of stone on stone is audible from the northern crypt... Someting stirs in the darkness...
Damnable thieves! Jackals! Vultures! Stealing my fire and my ring of safekeeping! So, you survived my scorpion darts... But you are weak as all living beings are weak! You need the breathe of life... And if you would steal my treasures, my traps shall steal your breath!
They turned on me at Methone, like a pack of rabid jackals! My own big brother, Bocchus, the Traitor, deposed me, stole my crown... Agrippa closed in for the kill, like a ravenous Wolf or Hawk... How I loathe the living! Curse them! Curse all of scheming mankind!

I know what they are, thief! The word-pictures that tell the tale of my battles... Of my betrayal at the hands of my murderous brother, Bochuss... How I was deposed and murdered at the fateful siege! Liars and thieves! All men are liars and thieves!
Perception check to hear (through his stone sarcophagus) the six adventurers fall into the central chamber...1d20 + 16 ⇒ (18) + 16 = 34 succeeds!
What was that? Grave robbers falling into my trap? Who dares to disturb the sleep of King Bogud!?
Perception check vs Lord P's 32 Stealth check...1d20 + 16 ⇒ (13) + 16 = 29 fails...
