Bards don't be wearing heavy armor, you guys do what you want with that stuff. I don't know what the GM's plan is, maybe insert me as a bound prisoner in a room somewhere, with no gear whatsoever, so I'll pick things up as we go. I was thinking of an Archer Bard, with things like haste and glitterdust and some other Arcane help. I don't know if someone has a short bow to loan me, but maybe. But with only wearing light armor, I'd expect to get my butt handed to me if I tried to be a front liner against giants as a bard. Heck, Kiln got shredded pretty quickly against a kitty cat, so a Bard would get smoked. Are there specific spells or skills you want me to cover down on?

A straight up Bard seems like a solid addition to the group. This group does a lot of straight up "damage" so +2/+2 (and eventually +3/+3) is a great boost for a group with lots of melee and archery attacks. I don't believe large battles happen in this AP. It's not Kingmaker, or Wrath of the Righteous, otherwise a Bard/Cavalier/Battle Herald even.

A dwarf Bard? A wizard or sorcerer? Ondek has been AFK for more than a year, so we could maybe use an arcane caster. GM, can you mark Ondek and Khari as inactive in the campaign please?

Depends on what the GM’s plan would be for introducing a new PC. I could make a PC with starting cash, or a stripped down PC, hoping to be rescued from the giants that have him captive.

As Kiln made it to -16, even 2 more CON wouldn’t help. No need to hand wave anything. I can make a new character, or you guys can go on without me. Either way is fine.

That cat pounced from more than 100’ away? Javelins have a 30’ range increment, so that was an ambitious throw by them. I don’t know the increment for rocks, but a 20 will hit either way.

So, there I was, at Scout Camp. I get a text from another adult telling me that a third adult had tested Covid positive today. Yesterday I had spent more than an hour sitting around chatting with that very guy. I do the right thing, report the exposure, and long story short, I am home from Scout Camp. There were tears, from my son, and some of the other Scouts, and maybe, just maybe, from me. Hopefully a false alarm, and an abundance of caution, but I'm sleeping in the basement tonight, the wife is upstairs with the dog. Ahh well.

As they just emerged, I'm assuming we're not yet in melee, so Kiln will activate Uskroth's Armor, and gain the benefits of [i[Righteous Might[/i]. He will also take a 5' forward, to ensure he engages the foe away from the ledge, so the others have room to ascend. If I have misread the situation, and they are close enough to whack them, then I'll probably just start laying into them.

Hi, I´m Redwolf and i like propose a system casting. I play with wizards (it´s my favorite) and the casting wizards for 3.5 i don´t like me, i see a very fast cast a spell in 1 action. a example for a wizard lvl 5 with a fire ball. (ah, sorry for my english)
in this combat (and this real) First in combat is the wizard, thief, etc...
Where is the casting time? I weigh casting time is a period of time since you start the spell to execute the spell. (I know, is as a MMORPG) My opcional system.
