[Dang, RL makes made it so I can't edit in: LK doesn't notice the door opening..

He's still staring when a hand on his shoulder startles him.

"You finally figured it out, huh? Took you long enough." Says his father as he smiles down at his son(though not nearly as far down as he used too).

"Well, I won't pretend I know exactly why you came back, but I'm glad he did now. You and I weren't exactly father-and-son, you know? Now, why don't you think about what Arielle's been saying(yes, I still keep an eye on you) and go back out there? You seem to be the only one who doesn't know, so think hard."

Kiba heads for door, but looks back at his clearly confused son and chuckles before leaving. He waves at Arielle before shifting and running back into the forest.

Sometimes I seriously wonder if some of these people weren't raised by wolves or something....and then I realize what an insult that would be to wolves. :/

At least you realized the error of your ways. Break the stereotype! Wolves are better than some people!

I can't find anything about alignment on the Lycanthrope Page of the PRD except the alignment given to the two lycans given as examples.

Personally, I find the whole AL for afflicted lycans ridiculous. If you're not in control, you're little more than a feral animal, and animals don't have alignment(okay, neatral, but it's not like they get a choice to hunt you down or not if they're hungry and you look weak).

Easier to keep his avvy a a wolf then to have to switch it out every time he shifts form.

With all the love of werewolves aroung here, doesn't it seem odd that there are so few published adventures that focus on our lycanthropic friends?

Wererats tend to be used quite often (typically as cannon fodder), but the king of lycanthropes, the werewolf, tends to get short shrift. I wonder why that is?

Simple, we are smart enough to stay out of the adventurer's way while we slowly build up our lycanthropic army...

And were-dire bats make for cooler vampires...

Vampires are guileful, sexy, intelligent, DYNAMIC characters. Oh, and they have the strength and capacity for rage the werewolves do.

There is one in the Oriental Adventure setting, but I don't think that the vamp fans would like that picture...

"Devlyn needs to be very careful. If JH and I are anything alike, he is wanting whatever power he can find to fight back and protect his child. It is so tempting..."

He finds himself staring at his bracer and looks away quickly. He looks up at the sky showing through the Eyrie opening, and sighs.

"Ayla, what would you think of me now?"

"Excuse me for a moment." Kiba leaves the Eyrie.

When he returns he is no longer carrying Lk.

"Now, I think we need to know as much as possible about what happened back at the Bazaar. Some one was after Tristan, and they used a powerful creation that needed the 8* of us to take it down, and we barely did that. I'm mad enough that some one attack children under my care, but to attack my own son and his friends..." He begins to squeeze the bracer on his left arm.

"Is Tristan alright?" she asked, worried, seeing that the boy was still unconscious.

"I'm sure he's just tired. He's not the only one," he says as he picks up a sleepy looking Lk.

"He's first rage was channeled through so much magic, it's no wonder Lk is asleep. If what you say is true(and I'm not saying it isn't) it's no surprise Tristan's also sleeping it off."

Slowly, the new weapons Kiba grew retreat back into his body, and the wounds he gain during and after the fight begin to heal. He stands and walks over to Lk, and sees the look in his son's eyes, the look of a first rage. He is glad when the look leaves Lk's eys.

"Come on son, we need to make sure to get Allura and your friend out of here and to a safe place."

"Wolf in the sky, got it."
His flesh ripples and distorts as wing grow from his shoulders, and he takes off into the sky above.

Ending was good, but it sucked at the same time.

Yeah, but I'm a Warshaper. As long as I'm not in my human form I can grow any natural weapon. I'm also immune to crits, have fast healing(and can make a concentration{spellcraft since he's in a beta game} to speed it up), my reach is increased by 5ft(for a total of 15ft in hybrid form, 10ft in wolf form), and can shift faster than normal. It's a good class for shapeshifters.

In desperation, Kiba growls and grows another pair of arms. And with them more claws. He resumes attacking with twice the fury.

The Face of Nailz returns and the elemental advances again.

"Now your just making me angry! Leave them alone!"

He leans in closer to whisper in LJ's ear.

"If you can set a a private place outside the Eyrie, I'd appreciate it. I need somewhere I can tell LK something, and I don't want him shunted to another plane if he gets angry."

"Does this mean I'm to chaperone them?" Kiba asks with a wolfish grin.

"Sorry. I can't help it. I can see your aura. I'm trying to stay out of it. I thought you'd probably tell him yourself if you wanted him to know. But you really should tell him. He's going to figure it out eventually. And he'll probably be mad if he finds out you were keeping it from him."

"I know. But he has spent his entire life looking up to 'The First Wolf' because I wasn't there for him. I'm not sure what he'd do if he found out the deity he looked up to was the father he didn't. It could shatter his faith in any god, and I'd just as soon he stay blissfully unaware of what we both are. I am afraid the fact I'm keeping it a secret is what drove a wedge between us in the first place."

He stares down the mountain for a long time.

"I'll... tell him tomorrow."

Arielle starts to say something and then thinks better of it.

He takes his wolf forms, curls up in corner somewhere, and just stares at a wall.

Don't worry about Arielle, nothing happened to her in future Lk's time, he just hadn't been to the Eyrie in a long time.

Kiba leaves the Eyrie the normal way, and smashes a boulder before he comes back.

"Okay, I feel better. What can we do?"

"Okay, what your saying is, a Lk from the furture came back to find the Lk from now? That explains why he knew how to stop me and how he was able to block your lightning. It also explains why he seemed to have no scent, I wouldn't have noticed it because it was Lk's. But that doesn't explain the signs of a fight or why they both weren't there. I hope nothing happens..."

Arielle frowns.

"Do you think future LK took our LK somewhere else?"

"What do you mean, future Lk?"

Kiba becomes human again, and bows slightly to Djuhah.

"Thank you for letting us stay here. Tell the Starsong I thank her as well"

He heads for the omniportal, and steps through. Five minutes later he comes back looking worried.

"I can't find him. Anywhere. The only place I could pick up his scent was about a yard from the portal. There were... there were signs of a fight."

Been toying with the idea of Lk not growing up to be a druid, any suggestions?

A voice(Kiba's) can be heard from Allura's crystal.

I'm following them to make sure they are safe, but it might be a good idea if your there to allow Lk some privacy to shift back, as the boy doesn't seem to know his puppy is Lk. They have been in a fight, and the Lk has a cut on his leg. The boy hasn't spoken since the fight." The crystal falls silent.

Knowing where his son is leading the waif, Kiba lands on a roof to shift. He uses his comm crystal to contact Allura.

Anyway, he will shortly be turning up at the Grove, as you have his attention, and he might not even sneeze all over it if Sorsha is still there.
Whilst she is present 'kill everything in sight and raze the place' is not an option in case she is a casualty. (Bad form to kill a dragon from your own bloodline and all that by accident, or at least if you're Daelemos it is.)
Therefore, so long as everyone stays bunched up nice and close to avoid casual breath weapon attacks, you get to talk.

Charles, are you trying to say Daelemos is the Midgard Serpent? Cause with 'the fall of an entire pantheon of gods' the Midgard Sperpent died, before the fall actually, killed by someone with a really big hammer... >:)

The forest branches seem to part to allow Kiba quick egress. A slow voice echoes through his mind

So, looking at my GM session credit a few minutes ago it appears that I once again have the correct amount. Unfortunately, I'm still listed as a 2-star GM even though I have 62 tables of credit under my belt. Now, I have run a fair number of modules, so I'm not sure if that double credit is somehow affecting my number of stars. Just my best guess....

I'm looking at making a paladin with the Oath of Charity. This modifies and renames Lay on Hands to Charitable Hands. The description says it "otherwise works like and replaces lay on hands." I wanted to take a number of feats whose prerequisites require the Lay on Hands class feature (ex. Extra Lay on Hands, Word of Healing, etc.), but I'm wondering if by going with Oath of Charity that I will be unable to do this.

I've read through a couple of threads that talked about this question and most seemed to agree that it "should" be allowed, however, this character will be used in PFS, so won't be open to GM interpretation.
