Thanks, I did talk to him, and he said that he will treat it as a ray for those purposes.

Revision-Energy Bolt not Energy Blast

I have PBS and precise shot already. My GM just made the party Mythic Tier 1 and trying to fill in my Mythic feats that I gained. Unfortunetly, most of my regular feats dont have Mythic options, but I have 1 free regular feat that I got to refund, so I'm trying to fill it with something that will further benefit this ability.

I am curious to know, which combat feats I can use to increase combat capabilities that require an attack action to perform. From what I've gathered so far, I can use PBS and Precise Shot, but I'm wanting to know, is there a way to gain from feats like Weapon Focus or any other of the sort?

Cool, this is VERY helpful and my GM had just came to the same conclusion, before seeing your posts. So your very helpful posts have helped in confirming all conclusions. Thak you very very much.

It's a 3PP build on d20pfsrd.com, which my GM allows anything on the site. The main question is, when does a SU provoke an AoO? The Warlock was an example.

Regarding SU, my GM believes that a Warlock's powers should provoke AoO. However, there's no clear answer that we can find. "SU don't usually provoke AoO," we don't understand which circumstances would provoke. When does a SU provoke an AoO? And would a Warlock provoke?

Thank you for any help provided.

Greylurker-
To answer your question, we used Scout/Knife Master/Glory Rogue.
The abilities from Glory Rogue don't replace any of the Rogue's base abilities, though that is probably because it is a 3PP Archtype.

Yea I planned on advancing far along in Warlock, I was trying to see if there was anything that would compliment the class later on. But there really isn't. Tho my GM did make advancement tables for all party members for their classes, up to level 40. Its pretty legit for how he did it. At this rate, I'll probably be sticking too Warlock at least until level 20, and either continue on in it, or pick a martial class, to boost my martial prowess.

Nefreet,

Yes that helps. My GM and I figured it out by playing around with the build, plus all the replies to this thread. Between all that, we found a 3rd Archtype that could still apply and was super beneficial. Quite amazing how this Rogue turned out. Once all said and done, it is capable of delivering almost every attack as a FF attack or gaining his SA damage on every attack.

Yea seeing as there isnt anything that really works with it, effectively. My GM's campaign intends for us to reach about level 45.

Well Im using the Adamant published Warlock, so I dont have to worry about SR since all my School Abilities are NOT spells, and are not effected by SR. My biggest asset is the Arcane Bolt, which can be compared to the Eldrich Blast, but does Elemental damage and a much longer range. So I was looking for something that I could use that with, but nothing seems to really work out for it. Was thinking about the Magus, but then realized that its Spellstrike ability wouldnt stack with my Warlock abilities.

So as this character gains levels, if he advances in Rogue, he would have to specify which Archtype he was advancing as. Cuz I know that when you take a different Archtype, you basically start over in the class, tho giving the way he is now, I dont think it would matter too much.

So lets say he reaches level 9 and wants to advance in as a Rogue, he would need to specify which variant he is advancing as, since the Archtypes basically rename the class to the Archtype, hence why you can take multiple archtypes, as long as they dont cross replace the same abilities.

So one of the players in my group is making a Rogue and with some help from other members, we've concocted quite the interesting build for him. Overall he is lvl 8, we gave him 4 lvls Scout, 2 Knife Master, and 2 Assassin. So my question is, does the Sneak Attack from the Rogue Archtypes stack with each other? As it doesnt specify unlike the other classes like Assassin and Stalker and other variable classes of the sort.

Still looking for advice on this matter.

Party has a Gnoll Fighter/Beastmaster, Elf Zen Archer, Human Paladin, Godling, and my Tiefling Warlock.

Ok so I am having a very hard time finding a class to multiclass in or a prestige class to take, that will either compliment or work with my Warlock. Any suggestions? Completely open minded on this subject.

Yea, my GM is using the Medium progression and thinks that you need 8,400,000 EXP for lvl 23, when it really is 28,800,000. He really thinks he's right on this, but my math is sound.

Scratch this, misunderstood where the variable came from

I did find the section on the d20pfsrd site that explained advancing a class beyond 20th level and how to figure the EXP needed to advance. I mapped it out to level 30 for all 3 progression speeds.

Yea tho I did just find some basics that dont involve mythic. since mythic is something completely different from what i was looking for.

So i haven't reached the level 20 margine yet in the campaign that I am currently participating in, but I'm not sure what to take after I reach 20th level. I really would like to advance my current class further if it would be possible. Any advice on how to do this would be greatly appreciated. A general purpose idea would be great so that there is something to kinda go off of for other classes.

Nor do they specifically say that they function liike another spell or ability to reference

Ok, so this is kind of a continuation from my last post on this subject, but most of the school abilities don't have lasting durations, as in they don't specify as to how long they last. So I took Blurry Form and Heroic Touch, neither of which specify as to how long they last before wearing off. Based on the wording of it, it sounds like they stay active until; I choose to deactivate them. I wwould like some input to this.

Yea I was looking at the purpose for my Arcane Burst, which makes my Arcane Bolt a Burst Effect

Ok, cool, so there is absolute purpose to the Arcane Flurry (Su) once i reach 12 lvl, and not be super overpowered. Tho there I do admit, its a little botched in determining save DCs for some of the abilities. The DC is 10 + spell level +CHA modifier, but this variant doesnt really cast spells, so what would be used in place of the "spell level" for this purpose?

Ok, so it still only gets one use per round then?

Ok, so I have built a Warlock using the build on the pfd20srd site, as my DM is allowing 3rd party classes that have been approved by PF. So my question then is, upon reaching higher levels could I fire multiple Arcane Bolts based off my BAB as a Full Round Action? Or am I still limited to only being able to use it once a round?

Sounds good enough to me. This has been definitly very helpful.

Sounds legit to the max. So now if i were to take this, and carry around a few different ones, with different types of bolts, the cost would just depend on the special material costs, correct?Like silver bolts, adamantine bolts, and anything else of the sort.

Claxon, you're also a lot of help. Thank you. Getting detailed responses really help me out. Whether it gives me the answer i seek, or a better understanding to what im looking for, or a good old push in the right direction.

That is very helpful GM_Beernorg. The idea is inspired from the Van Helsing movie. Just as I believe the Inquistor class was based off of Van Helsing. The Tech Guide is a newer guide and ive skimmed it over, but it didnt make too much sense of fitting in to the settings of my groups campaigns. Tho now thanks to you, I will go through it again and a little more thoroughly.

Also I know the Endless Ammunitoin enchantment goes onto bows and x-bows, so if putting it on a repeating x-bow, is it strictly on the x-bow or could it be placed on the ammo case? legitimate or for fluff purposes.

Ok, so the repeating x-bow with the endless ammunition enchantment would be the best way to go. Tho it is a bit excessive, tho awesome. I know i read somewhere on one of these messageboards of a lesser version of this. It was an ammo case with a bigger ammo capacity, but not endless. This would be more realistic, and seem a lot more fair to the other players.

No, trying to create custom weapon. But as far as the clip goes, the suggestion was basicallly an everful quuiver, but a repeating crossbow clip. i knew how to get one in 3.5, DM discression, but not in Pathfinder.

Cool, I am trying to create, by game mechanics, a clockwork/gas powered like repeating crossbow. Ive had a suggestion of a mgically enhanced clip for higher ammo capacity, that could work too, but i dont know the actual mechanics to making it possible.

So the Core Rulebook and Advanced Players Guide would be the best sources for building non-magical gear then?

Ok, so this may be in the wrong forum, and if so i apologize in advance. So im looking for a setof rules into creating custom gear, what goes into building such items, like figuring out base price, determining what it does and any special qualities it may have. Im looking to create non-magical gear that could later on potentially be enchanted, but that part isnt important as the creation of the items.

So the equivalence of an everfull quiver from 3.0/3.5, but in the form of a repeating crossbow clip. Hmmm, i like that idea, tho havent dealged into that area since i started playing Pathfinder. Any thoughts on how much it would cost or how to make one?

So i've had quite the enjoyment of seeing the Inquisitor as originally being based off of Van Helsing, basically. Seeing as its a monster hunter and has quite the arsenal to be proficient with. So my question is, is it possible to create a gas powered or steam-punked Repeating Crossbow that can fire more than the potential 5 bolts a round, with appropraite BAB and feats?

This is super helpful. Thank you

So when making a weapon out of mitheral it costs 500 gold per pound and makes the weapon weigh half as much. So my question then is for a clarification as to, when making the weapon and configuring the cost price, is it done by the original weight of the weapon or the new weight of the weapon?

Oh he was trying to see if it was possible to cleave/great cleave off of an AoO

I think trying to just mark it as some kind of action. Im not entirely sure. He was having me ask for him.

Ok, thank you for your time, my buddy probably wont accept this, but he'll have to, lol

Everything in combat is an action

Was looking up rules for AoO. Need to clarify what kind of action this is. Because a melee attack, unless otherwise stated, is a standard action.

Its mostly to eliminate casters quickly before they hit the whole party. Any ranged combatantsin the party can do there part against the enemy also, especially if they get the initiative. If it looks like i wouldnt need to charge them, then of course im gonna go after the next closest threat.

I dont plan to multi-class him till way way way later down the road. Fully utilizing his fast movement to let the rest of the party deal with whatever is closer and not have to worry too much about being hit from a distance.
