May the Force be with you, guys.
Considering we're primarily a Jedi-focused group, the diplomacy here shouldn't surprise and please me as much as it does. But it does. Well stated, folks.
Perhaps, maybe, the true "Lap of Luxury" was somehow impounded somewhere, much to Calypso's dismay, and thus we'd be trying to both accomplish our mission as well as somehow be "rescuing" her ship...meanwhile traveling in a proverbial and classic Star Wars "rust bucket" for now?

Whoops. I chose one on my worksheet while building him. Just didn't transfer it to the CS. Sorry about that.
Chose Talent: Evasion. Nice. it would work like the Monk's evasion ability. Let me look it up.
It’s a great talent, maybe the strongest defensive in the game (lots of AoE) and the reason why most Jedi optimized builds dip in scout. Very solid choice mechanically I think it should be a Force power.
Want me to shift it to one on my sheet? No worries, I can drop Negate Energy for it if you'd prefer.
So, @Calypso Calrissian, is that enough for what you're planning/building?

Minus equipment, Kaltor's crunch is in this profile for review. Just in case I've made any glaring mistakes. The book is clear and straightforward for the most part, but I just got the rules yesterday, and it's melting my brain a little bit. lol
CC, put Kaltor down for 10,000 credits as well. I'll just purchase from the other 20,000 he has.
2nd HP: 1d10 ⇒ 8
3rd HP: 1d10 ⇒ 4
I'd love that. But would being from Dathomir be reasonable, considering the Dark Side presence there? I thought that might be too much.
So, as far a Legacy goes, Kaltor won't have any actual known ties to this, but despite his obvious different skin coloring, he was teased and mocked by other children when he was younger for supposedly being distantly related to Maul, of the Darth Maul fame. Even moreso when his Force Sensitivity became apparent.
That said, Maul was a Zabrak from Dathomir, a location tied to the Dathmirian Nightsisters, and Kaltor is a native Iridonian Zabrak.
Does that work?

Campaign ends
:)
I'm torn between booing and imagining a scene where it cuts to the Emperor steepling his fingers and darkly murmuring "Yes. Yessss. Feel the Power of the Dark Side! The Force is Strong with this one."
Didn't think so, but figured it was better to ask.
But the heart attack leads to a bacta tank...
Ok, probably dumb question: Starting as a Scout, then changing to a Jedi at 2, do I have to purchase/earn a lightsaber, or does he get a basic blue automatically?
EltonJ wrote: You use the PF1e 25 point buy. * heart attack * Good lord. I somehow MISSED this and have been trying to make 25 pt build work with the SW Saga point costs.
The Force is now with me. Or my character at least. :)
While it's probably smarter to say t.v. series...who doesn't want to be part of the next movie trilogy?? Even it we're the only ones who get to enjoy it? So, vote for movie style here.
And just an aside, and not complaining, but having NO ability score adjustments for Zabraks is turning out to be more challenging than I had thought it would be. Not bad, just ...interesting. Especially with Kaltor's eventual goal of becoming a Jedi Sentinel.
Wow. I do something silly like go to work for a couple days, and I'm lagging behind... LOL EltonJ, can you tell everyone's excited about this game?
Will have something character build-wise posted up tomorrow. Will likely have credits to contribute to the Casino Ship as well.
I think I'm leaning towards making a scout 1/jedi 2. That will obviously delay some of his Force Training, but as long as I still take Force Sensitivity at 1st, he'll still be considered eligible to be a Padawan...yes?
Any build advice? I think a Dex build is the way to go for this, hmm?
Ok, that gives us:
1 Scoundrel - Gambler w/a ship (Pilot?)
3 Jedi
And then 1 or two others (myself included)
Not having played this version of SW, but well aware of the ideas of having a reasonably balanced party in d20 games, I'll ask: What other class SHOULD we have? One or two more Jedi could work, but will we be missing out on something else? A soldier or scout, perhaps? Would it be enough to take a level of one and then a move on to Jedi, or should it be single classed characters?
I'm not asking anyone to tell me what to play. Just what we should be considering.
If we both get into the game, @Phntm888, I'll volunteer to learn wookie. We can work out the details later.
.
Not sure what class yet, though I won't rule out another Jedi of some sort, but my character species will be Zabrack.
(Hack Anslash here.)
