He did not post in other campaign either. I think it is over.

If I am the only player that stayed behind I would like to try to catch the others.

Kaiden starts to regret staying back. He is getting restless. He think to himself "They are probably out there killing undead and gnolls, and I chose to stay behind." in a condescending tone.

I am thinking I missed something. Are we all at the exact same place?

I did not show that there were any new post or I would have posted.

Kaiden stays back with the others to protect the party.

Kaiden agrees to help also.

I am here. I will check the other thread. I might not post until later tonight though.

Kaiden looks at the cloak, and then looks back to Spectrum.
"How does it make me a better scout?"

"I say we take the cave if there is anyone or anything in it.Hopefully there wont be any fireballs to lay me down this time."

Kaiden laughs assuming the little dragon was being mischievous on purpose.
He then remembers he almost died, and a scowl forms on his face.

Kaiden has never heard better news. This is one of the only times in his life that he has known such joy.

Perception check to see if it is safe to stand:1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26. Apply any penalties you deem necessary for me having my eyes closed.

Kaiden can still smell the stench of the undead, and it annoys him that he can not join the battle.

Kaiden thinks to himself, "I will kill that wizard when I get up, and I now know why nobody likes necromancers."

He does not try to get up however.

Kaiden can smell and sense the presence of the undead, and chooses not to stand. He is beginning to wonder if this will be the end of him, and if had not been better off staying home.

At 1 hp, not trying to get up until at least one of those skeletons is taken down. I am assuming they don't know the difference between down and dead so I will not open my eyes.

So to confirm I am at -3.
If so I will make the constitution check next round.

Good call. I moved it to the discussion area.

There are two posts I guess. One saying I made it and one saying I failed. That is why I was confused.

Here is what I was looking at.

Post 1
5d6 ⇒ (3, 2, 1, 6, 4) = 16 Egil Gregers, Kaiden and Curvlk are all blistered with flame and must make Reflex DC 18 to half damage.

Kaiden:1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25

Here I take 8 points of damage.
---------------------------
2nd post
Kaiden's aoo:
Hit 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
damage1d8 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11

Skele vs Kaiden:
Hit1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21
Damage1d8 ⇒ 5 Unlucky for Kaiden :)

Kaidens Ref: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23 Takes full 16 damage.

All of this damage leaves me at 7 hp not 15. Now if both of those reflex saves were from the same fireball and only one applies then I either took

21 points of damage or 13 points of damage.

Kaiden is not running towards the back of the group. He is running to I3 on the map. That W is the wizard or at least one wizard anyway.

PS:If I can't see the wizard I would still have ran ahead to try to escape the fog since that is where the fireball bead came from.

Free Action: "They must have some magic that allows them to see through the fog. We need to spread out."
I am assuming I am talking over the entire round

Rest of round:I will take the Run action which will get me to I23.

The run action allows you to move at 4 times your movement, but lose dex to AC, and if there are any pits you don't get a reflex save against them, IIRC

I say the usual marching order, even though I forgot what that was. I should have bookmarked that post.

I don't think ghost sounds has a long enough duration. It is rounds/level. The other spell last for 1 minute, but it can be continually cast.

edit:The continued castings of ghost sound makes it more likely for use to be discovered since a caster is supposed to speak in a forceful voice.

"Ok, that works. I have rope. How much space do you want between yourself and the next person behind you?"

"Being one of the designated scouts I have no problem taking the lead. I would however like someone who can fight well within a reasonable distance in case I run into trouble."

survival check to see what information can be gained:1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11
For tracking I it is a +8

Perception check:1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10

edit: Darn. The dice gods are against me.

"We should go together, where ever we go."

Anyone have knowledge geography? That might help.

LOL, well played

Unless a lot of low rolls are made by the party we should be ok.

"I never fought a demon before. Good times, good times", says Kaiden with a big grin on his face.

Hearing the request, Kaiden still does not speak, but a smile appears on his face that says yes better than any words ever could.

Kaiden takes Galstak's advice, and makes himself comfortable.

Kaiden is standing by wondering what to make of all this.

just posting so you know I am watching the thread

"May we help you administer aid to your people?"

Kaiden remains silent trying not to draw attention to himself.

Can you just tell us when to level? For some reason I find it harder to track XP online than I do in real life.

Is that 300 xp the first time you have given us XP for this game. If not I have to go back and find the other times. I did not record them into my profile.

I meant to say "I am sure..."

"I am Spectrum would not mind fire bombing the village if they get out of hand."

"I agree that to speaking to them is the best thing to do, and bringing rations won't hurt either."

"I figure we can talk to them. At worst we have to kill them, but hopefully it won't come to that. I am not known for my charm however, but I will tag along if anyone wishes to talk to them."

How far away are we from them?

stealth check for when the situation arises:
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20

Curvlk Wyrdon wrote:
I would suggest that this may be an opportunity for stealth and speed, assuming we can be bolstered by Sarenrae's healing light and blessings." Curvlk turned his head towards the ranger. "You made an effective ally against the gnolls, and our fighting styles seemed to compliment one another. You are also untouched by the cold. Perhaps we should venture off together to see what we can find?"

"That sounds good to me. Let me know when you are ready."

"I say we deal with them, and then break out the heat stones if we are going to rest there. We may also build a fire from the campsite of those people or things that don't need it. "

Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20
Fort: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (19) + 10 = 29
Fort: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (7) + 10 = 17
Fort: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (15) + 10 = 25

...don't ask...

Every time I say that as a GM it is never good for the players. :)

I guess we will use the communal mount spell to summon the bait. Throwing the net over the with the glue to trap some, and the rest will die(hopefully) from Spectrum's spell.

Spectrum wrote:
"You may give me spellcasting advice when you are willing to accept mine regarding swordplay, Kaiden. Morphet, when the flock comes near, cast this. It will server as our bait." Spectrum says handing the sorcerer a scroll "When they gather I can likely bring down the majority of the flock. The net and canvas can be used as a shield. Affix four poles to the corners. The warriors among us will be better served operating the cover, providing defense for those of us that can provide more effective means of combating our foes. Now can we please get moving?"

After hearing what the spell is:

"Don't be so touchy now. If I had known you had a summon bait spell I would not have offered my mule up. Advice on swordplay is accepted when I forget which weapons I have."[b]

As he says the word "weapons" he eyes the scroll which was just passed over to Khalil, with a smirk on his face.

[b]"Putting that net over the summoned horses should work with the tanglefoot bag should work. Those that don't die from Spectrum's blast should get stuck."
