I have a question about the range of low light vision. While in a pitch black cave, with the light spell casted what would be my range of vision? I thought it would be 40 feet of normal light plus 40 dim, but my dm said its only 20 feet normal and 40 dim. Any ideas?

Thanks

2 people marked this as a favorite.

Sorry, figured it out lol

Hi,
I have a player running a 6 lvl Oracle and an 2nd lvl Unchained Monk. On his herolab sheet it gives him the d10 damage die but none of the other monk abilities. Is he supposed to get this damage increase or is this a bug?
I cannot find anything on this.

Thanks

I had a question on the traits the PC's pick from the player's handbook. Do they gain the mythic bonus at the end of book one when they become mythic or at a later time?

End of the first paragraph of eidolon rules on AoN:

Thanks, I can't believe I missed that.

Are Eidolons considered Outsiders?

I'm wondering because of antilife shell spell, I want to know if they bypass it.

Also, this is a regular summoner, not an unchained one.

Thanks

My group just defeated Vsevolod and my dwarven cleric is wondering about Frost Thunder hammer. He wants to know if it's an evil weapon. What do you guys think? It does have infernal runes on it, but does that make it evil?

Only if it has the Evil descriptor.

Here's an example along similar lines: if someone has infernal heritage because of a Sorcerer Bloodline or being born a Tiefling, are they inherently evil?

No.

Just because something is touched by the infernal and may even gain some power from the infernal does not mean it is inherently evil, as shown by the Tieflings and on Infernal Bloodlines. :)

Good point! Thanks :)

We started playing Reign of Winter a ways back and the group is now heading to Whitethorne. One of my PC's has an animal companion and I was wondering how you other DM's handled the animal getting into the city?
The players are already inside when they get their papers, can they leave and come back through the gate with the animal? Curious to hear any suggestions.

Thanks

Any chance he plans on making you all magic rings that will garner you power and wisdom? Because....

Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky,
Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Mortal Men doomed to die,
One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.
One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them,
One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.

LOL, never thought of that....

So, we currently running in a evil campaign. We have a wizard in our group who has been slowly trying to take over. He has been called out a few times and has backed down.
Now he has offered to not only craft items and weapons for us but will also pay half of the gold himself.
He is a sneaky bugger this guy and we are trying to figure out what he angle is, if any.
When you craft can you do anything to it so it gets deactivated at a later point? If you guys could help us with suggestions on what he is doing that be great.
P.s.
We enjoy playing with this guy, he keeps us on our toes lol. Maybe he just being nice.

Hi everyone,
Our group is about to start this adventure path, and I'm having trouble making a character. I believe our group will have firepower: a fighter, gunslinger, and ranger. We also have a bard and a divine oracle.
I've never played a druid before and I wanted to try the aquatic archetype.
I've been reading ‎Treantmonk's guide to druid, does it still hold up today and for this quest?
I'm curious to see if anyone else has tried a druid for this adventure path and how they build your character.
I guess another question I should ask is: Is a druid even worth playing in this adventure?

Thanks for any advice.
