This could actually go in any direction above. In the current campaign that I am running, the PCs deal with the creatures as the need arises in the best way possible. They hunted down vampires, they talked Gremlins into fixing the tech they messed up with a promise to relocate them somewhere nice. They used their powers to get a ghost out of Toys R Us (which probably explains why it shut down :D). The current campaign characters consist of a Kineticist, a Druid, a Ranger and a Bard. It really depends on how the gamemaster wishes the adventures or the campaign to go. However, if it helps any.. The Librarians and Warehouse 13 were the primary sources of inspiration for this setting.

Sure, if I can get the files I will re-release this material. This is something I am still working out with Atlas, as I dont yet have those files. As soon as I get them I will send them out, and then I will send them out again in a converted manner. I am not sure if that answers your question, but if not please let me know.
We are at 82% and we have 10 days to go. We are very close to making goal, please help support this project. We have all kinds of cool things coming after this to expand the world of Northern Crown - https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1292093911/northern-crown-new-world-ad ventures-pathfinder-edi Some highlights of future books if we are successful will include - The Caribe (Northern Crown Caribbean Sourcebook)(currently a stretch goal) The Southern Crown sourcebook detailing the southern hemispher A Western Expansion sourcebook for Northern Crown continent A Lewis & Clark style Adventure Path A Bestiary of new creatures of the new world.
Oceanshieldwolf: This is basically a straight up conversion. It does have some new material in it. The Caves and other material can be offered for free, even unconverted, to backers. Thanks, I will explain what is in each chapter, on the main page. I am going to try to get to that before the end of today. I will go back and make sure this is explained on the page, the original books, New World Adventures and Gazetteer have been combined into a single book. DaveMage: The error is entirely mine, as I think of everything 3.0 and 3.5 as 3.0. If we manage to get this book out the door, we have continued support planed for the line. We have just started working on two additional books for the material.
If you loved Northern Crown for 3.0 or were ever wanting to see what it was like, or even if you are just a fan of alternative history settings come now to check out our new Kickstarter for the Northern Crown setting, now updated to the Pathfinder game system - The Pathfinder edition of Northern Crown New World Adventures kickstarter can be found here -- Northern Crown New World Adventures (Pathfinder edition) Kickstarter Page If this kickstarter is successful we will follow it up with a new bestiary for the New World and an additional book for the rest of the New World, both West of the Great River and the southern continent.
I am going to be using this for my Pathfinder group soon. Thank you for the conversion. I have to assume that the Technology Guide was not yet out when this was done, which doesnt diminish its awesomeness in any way. The only thing I might do that you havent done, is go through the Technology Guide and see if I can update anything. Again, thanks for this. I had been wanting to run this adventure and I appreciate all the hard work you have done in the conversion.:D
Battlefield Press is releasing its first Open Beta for the Pathfinder RPG, Sherwood: The Legend of Robin Hood. We have set up FB and G+ groups for topic discussion, as well as on this thread. You can download the file here: Sherwood: The Legend of Robin Hood.
I am currently running a Pathfinder version of Dragonlance, I am running currently pre-WotL, and instead of following things directly, I am using the places, but re imagining the setting. The whole campaign idea came up after an in depth conversation with Tracey Hickman and I began with his approval (not that I needed it, but it was nice to have). I allowed bards, but they were Arcane instead of Divine. However, the Bard only lasted a couple of sessions and was killed ridding Palanthas of a gang that was threatening the city. We are working our way up to the WotL, but after it I will probably hit some of the highlights from LotT and then just go in whatever direction the PCs happen to take it. I completely removed the Heroes of the Lance, and now the PCs are set to take that place...and Ansalon, and Krynn, could end up a very different place.
I am starting a new game soon, and thought I would read this board for ideas. There are a lot of them. My game is going to take place before the War of the Lance, with the PCs replacing the companions. Im not even running it the same way, just using the original adventures for locations and mining it for ideas. The game will develop as it may. I think I am going to start out with 1st level characters and write my own adventures until they reach around 4th or 5th level and end up making the best pc into the new cleric. My idea for classes is to use the classes from the Pathfinder Core and then using the PrCs from the Dragonlance Campaign book when they get there. I think that not only could this work, but it will end up bonding the group as well.
Sherwood is using a couple of builds from material written by SGG. It is also doing somethings a little different to reflect the historical nature of the setting. We are also going to be releasing our Cinematic Adventures for Pathfinder here soon, and will encourage other publishers to build off of it as well. Yes, thanks Vic, this is a great thread. I look forward to seeing what is new and exciting for Pathfinder.
The product we announced last summer is finally ready for playtest. It is a closed playtest, but we are not going to turn away anyone that signs the NDA. The nda can be found at www.battlefieldpress.com/bpinda.html We are looking forward to your input. As only the fans can make this a project worth publishing. Jonathan M. Thompson
joela wrote: Jonathan, any news on the classes? Will they follow the WotC version (e.g., Tough, Smart, etc.) and be backwards compatible to that material, or professions like Pathfinder ala fighter/soldier, bard/entertainer, etc.? They will be classes more in line with the current Pathfinder classes, so that the two books can work seamlessly together. However there is the possibility of a conversion document for those that may want it.
Im sorry, please forgive me. I had forgotten I dont have my sig like it is on RPG.net and failed to give that information. It will be published by Battlefield Press, Inc. and will contain open material. It will be a generic toolkit, but setting books will follow. --
This sourcebook for Pathfinder will do what no other OGL modern book has done, allow you to crossover fantasy and modern characters and creatures without issues of conversion. This book will be completely plug and play. It will contain modern equipment classes and feats all for use with the Pathfinder Role Playing Game. It is being written by David Schwartz and hope to be released after the first of 2010. In addition to this we are releasing a Pulp sourcebook for our Modern addition to the Pathfinder RPG.
Jason Bulmahn wrote: C'mon Russ, you and I both know there are not that many published non-spellcasting uses of the Concentration skill... and those that are, can easily be rolled into the new system, at the same DC, so long as the new system is built right. Except that we, Battlefield Press, tended to use it a lot on Non-spellcasting classes for various reasons. However, that being said, there is no reason we cant use some kind of save (Will, Fort, Reflex) when we convert our material over for use with the PFRPG.
