Cloud, I was curious...is Jericho still addicted to shiver, or has he gone through detox in the dungeon?

Level 2 HP: 1d10 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Jericho spends his time checking in on Verik, working to make sure he isn't being treated too unfairly.

My apologies to everyone. Still getting into the groove of my new job. I think I've got it figured as far as scheduling, and how much time I can spend online.

I think the days of posting every day are behind me. :(

I'll have my level 2 figured out by tomorrow, and will take whatever leftovers from the split are available.

We should probably invest in some cure potions. I wouldn't mind the dagger, but would probably upset the split.

Jericho watches Verik taken off to the same dungeons he just languished in. He approaches his friend, offering his old comrade a gold chain with their family crests intertwined. "Find me when you get out."

He then steps back to the party, keeping his distance from Cressida.

Sitting up, massaging his shoulder, Jericho scowls at Verik. "Next time try for my heart."

Using the stairs as a brace, Jericho stands up. Smiling at the group, "At least no one wound up in the temple."

Walking over to retrieve his dagger, he gives Verik one final glance before walking outside.

Jericho glances down at the arrow, frowning back up at his friend.

With a few more beats of his heart, Jericho collapses to the ground.

Sorry everyone...yes, moving is such a fun time :) Two days unloading the truck and now unpacking.

"One too many days in the dungeon has left me with a sour taste in my mouth, Verik."

Jericho will move towards Verik, twirling his dagger as he moves closer.

"I was asked to bring you in alive...let's hope I can keep that promise."

1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16 Attack
1d4 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 Damage

After enduring the pain of his muscles and bones mending themselves back together, Jericho gives Neva a nod of thanks.

Moving back into the doorway, he attempts to catch Baldrago's sword in the swordbreaker and disarm him.

"Call off your dogs Verik..."

1d20 + 10 ⇒ (12) + 10 = 22 Disarm roll

Should get an extra +4 because Baldrago is using a bladed weapon. Willing to take the AoO.

Even without the +4 I passed. :)

Recognizing his friend, Jericho stands silent, stunned.

Distracted, he doesn't see the attack coming. blind-sided by the attack, he staggers backwards.

5 ft step

Jericho winces as he stands up to his full height, looking down at Parn, shaking his head."Sorry, friend."

Looking around at the mention of Verik, Jericho sees the two new combatants and moves to close with them. Clutching his side, he moves to end the fight quickly.

1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18 atk :: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5

no access to dabbleboard, will need someone to move me to closest enemy

Round 4

Jericho continues his assault on Parn.

1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24 atk :: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7

"Not quite yet."

Round 3

Ducking under the hammer, Jericho rolls across the floor, getting in behind Parn.

Jericho slashes at Parn's exposed lower back, hoping to disable his old ally.

"I warned you friend..."

1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11 Attack roll :: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 Damage
*groan*

Rolling around was just flavor text...unless you want some rolls. 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19 Acrobatics

Copper Fratello wrote:
These rolls are certainly not going our way.

This is reminding me of my first monk, and his flurry of crap. Three sessions and I let the DM kill him off... :(

Pretty close to getting knocked out, so I'll go with a straight-up attack. Do you need a reroll?

..just in case..
1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8 Attack -- 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7 Damage

"Parn, put down that hammer."

His knees buckle under the force of the hit, but he manages to stay on his feet.

Moving in closer, Jericho flicks his wrist, maneuvering the butcher's weapon around so that he can pull it out of his hands.

1d20 + 6 - 4 ⇒ (11) + 6 - 4 = 13 disarm

will move token later...dabbleboard doesn't work on my phone

Jericho will move to the closest man, and if close enough, will disarm. While moving, do I recognize either of them?

Disarm: 1d20 + 6 - 4 ⇒ (3) + 6 - 4 = 5 (+6 swordbreaker, -4 no feat).

If not close enough, will double move to within 10 feet of closest combatant.

I might be moving for a job on Monday, and I'm letting all of my affected games know.

Hopefully there won't be any lapse in my online appearances, but in case there is, you'll know why I'm not posting.

I'll open the door then, so Senjin can concentrate on his spell. Sorry about not saving...had this crazy idea it would save as I moved things.

Jericho sheathes his dagger and moves towards the doors, waiting on Copper's signal. Moved token.

Jericho waits for Rutter to indicate the coast is clear--but may not even realize it. What is he doing?

Jericho holds back, allowing Rutter to scope the building out. Keeping his dagger out, in case there's trouble.

Jericho takes the lead, keeping his dagger parallel with his arm as he crouches down.

Stealth: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

Oi...that was pretty sweet.

"Cressida did say alive..."

Watching the slow trickle of patrons receiving food, Jericho sighs and looks up into the sun.

This is how you fight against the monarchy? Helping peasants? Those months in that cell...what has happened out here?

Standing up and sheathing his dagger, Jericho turns to the group. "The rear will be less protected than walking in through the front door. If there are any animals in there, they're probably already dead."

Turning to the building, he watches for a minute, looking up at the sky once more.

Forgive me brother.

Without turning back, "There should be a storage room just off the rear doors. It's rarely used, and if we need to, we can hide there until Verik shows up."

ugh...the limitations of my netbook are being rooted out. That dabbleboard map, I can only see half of it...no zoom feature.

"I could always just go over and talk to them. They do know me. Those two out front used to run errands before Verik moved them up in the ranks."

Jericho chuckles to himself.

"Looks like recruiting numbers have fallen off if they're pulling guard duty."

Jericho watches the patrons coming out with the packaged meat.

"We used to send out vials of poison wrapped in bacon to agents who were supposed to take out key officials." He pauses, thinking for a moment. "At least that was the plan. A lot of the guards would intercept the poison before it ever got close to the target."

----------------------------------

When one of the meat patrons comes nearby, Jericho will attempt to get one of the packages. He will do so out of sight of the two guards. He wants to see what's going on with the meat.

----------------------------------

"Please, could you help a lowly vagrant. Been shamed by the landlord, sent out on the street. Just a morsel or two, and I'll be on my way." Bluff 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6.

Cloud, sorry if I'm reading too much into my past with Verik...making the whole situation come alive for Jericho. I have no idea what's going on--didn't read my modules so I wouldn't spoil anything.

Jericho watches the men outside the meat plant, twisting the dagger in his hand, the knuckles blazing white. After a few moments he sheathes the dagger, and turns to Rutter.

"No, I wouldn't expect Verik to be out in plain sight. He'll be inside where he can surround himself with his comrades."

To Senjin, "There are spies everywhere, so we can assume that they know."

"Paid...not paid. It'll be nice to see a friendly face once again.

To Senjin: "If there's rioting in the area, they'll be locked up inside. Otherwise, if the streets or quiet, they'll be about their business."

Turning to Rutter, "Little chance of Verik taking one of his own down. We may have parted ways..." he stops, feeling Cressida's eyes sizing him up.

Jericho takes Neva's hand, unaccustomed to the gesture. "Jericho," he says, his voice gravelly, like he had too much to drink the night before.

Taken aback by Neva's easy tone, he steps in closer to her. "When we find Verik, perhaps he'll be able to help you rest easier."

Stepping back, he nods to each of his new companions, and turns back to Cressida. "I'd prefer to take my gold up front. Wouldn't want it getting tied up in bureaucratic red tape."

"Verik?"

Jericho tenses at the name, and quickly recovers.

He half-heartedly salutes Cressida, and turns to the group.

"Any of you gone after a guard before?" he asks. Without waiting for an answer, "Don't let their normally docile behavior fool you. Verik will put up a fight, and likely send at least one of you to the temple."

I have faith that Cloud can make it work

dotted

Thanks everyone :) look forward to playing. I'll go through the sheet with a fine tooth comb tomorrow morning.

Looks like I'm finished. Anything I forgot let me know.

Thanks Cloud. :) I will finish him up tonight/tomorrow for your final approval

Bron's not going to do anything to stop the unrest. He'll just find a group of mercenaries to do the dirty work and hide in his barracks... :P

Thanks everyone. :) That's what comes out of my head after working for like 10 hours solid.

This is one of the few APs I wanted to play in, rather than DM, so I'm hoping it works out, although I guess I'm the only one left. :P

Please let me know and I'll start working on figuring out how to make an online character.

Pretty much the same as pen & paper, except you'll want to create a new alias for the game, and place a statblock inside of it. :)

alias for tom--posted above

Cloud, created this character for your campaign. Needs some serious fleshing out, but a lot of the basics are there. Didn't want to get too deep into all the equipment/gear until I knew I was selected.
