Half-elf Rogue 4. AC 21, T 17, FF 14, HP: 34/34, Fort +3, Ref +10, Will +3, Init +6; Perception +10, Shield spell: 1/3
Apologies for delay. Jericho thinks about using his potion of invisibility, but thinks better of it. "Fine, I will draw out any ambush. Just be prepared to come and help." Goliath cast Barkskin on me and it lasts 40 minutes, so it should still be in effect, right? Jericho, sword in hand, moves carefully over the bridge, looking out for dangers and traps from his surroundings. Perception: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (19) + 10 = 29
Half-elf Rogue 4. AC 21, T 17, FF 14, HP: 34/34, Fort +3, Ref +10, Will +3, Init +6; Perception +10, Shield spell: 1/3
Jericho whispers, "Does this bridge with no railing scream trap to anyone else? It's too damn bright and hot for me also." Jericho looked uncomfortable, more accustomed to the shadows.
Half-elf Rogue 4. AC 21, T 17, FF 14, HP: 34/34, Fort +3, Ref +10, Will +3, Init +6; Perception +10, Shield spell: 1/3
Jericho's shield spell is still in effect from the last fight since we did not rest. Jericho moves to flank the red creature. He risks AoO if it has 5' reach.

Round 2: Jericho Wincing from the last hit, Jericho takes a quick glance back, and thanks Goliath for the spell buff. He then proceeds to attack the giant. Attack: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (18) + 10 = 28...threat
Half-elf Rogue 4. AC 21, T 17, FF 14, HP: 34/34, Fort +3, Ref +10, Will +3, Init +6; Perception +10, Shield spell: 1/3
Round 1: Jericho Jericho will move toward the giant confidently, stepping into her reach (AC 25 if it has combat reflexes) and will strike at her with his elven curve blade. Is she flat-footed because she acts last in initiative?
Half-elf Rogue 4. AC 21, T 17, FF 14, HP: 34/34, Fort +3, Ref +10, Will +3, Init +6; Perception +10, Shield spell: 1/3
Having some skill in persuasion, Jericho tries to calm the wisp, "Hold up there. We were sent by the druid Silvermane to find the entrance to the Vault of Thorns. We mean no harm, we're trying to stop the giants!" Diplomacy: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21
Half-elf Rogue 4. AC 21, T 17, FF 14, HP: 34/34, Fort +3, Ref +10, Will +3, Init +6; Perception +10, Shield spell: 1/3
Also back! "Does anyone have any protection magic against electricity? If not, let's try to not get hit. All we need is one wisp, I believe, in the lantern, so let's not attract more than one. Ready to approach when everyone else is." Jericho will cast Shield on himself when party is ready.
Half-elf Rogue 4. AC 21, T 17, FF 14, HP: 34/34, Fort +3, Ref +10, Will +3, Init +6; Perception +10, Shield spell: 1/3
Jericho smiles as Ulmo introduces his cousin and walks up and shakes Ingrahild's hand. "Jericho Darkleaf, at your service. You fight really well with your axes. Glad you're on our side."
Half-elf Rogue 4. AC 21, T 17, FF 14, HP: 34/34, Fort +3, Ref +10, Will +3, Init +6; Perception +10, Shield spell: 1/3
Jericho forgot Ulmo's surname so he surmises that all dwarves have the same or similar clan name. "The circle of stones? Yes, that would helpful if you could guide us there. Also, have you seen any wisps? We need one to fuel the lantern. I think that's what Silvermane said, right?" Jericho looks at the rest of the party, trying to remember.
Half-elf Rogue 4. AC 21, T 17, FF 14, HP: 34/34, Fort +3, Ref +10, Will +3, Init +6; Perception +10, Shield spell: 1/3
Jericho looks at the party, as if asking for permission, before his curiosity gets the better of him and he blurts out to the female dwarf, "Were you and your brother looking for the Vault?"
Half-elf Rogue 4. AC 21, T 17, FF 14, HP: 34/34, Fort +3, Ref +10, Will +3, Init +6; Perception +10, Shield spell: 1/3
Jericho points to the potion that he identified. "How about we give the dwarf this potion? I believes it removes harmful afflictions. Maybe it will cure him? At least, we know it will not harm him."
Half-elf Rogue 4. AC 21, T 17, FF 14, HP: 34/34, Fort +3, Ref +10, Will +3, Init +6; Perception +10, Shield spell: 1/3
"I'd appreciate some healing from the wand, Goliath and great job on that hit. I am not used to attacking without intent to kill." Jericho hears Ulmo's words. "I also say that we search her for possessions to make sure that she cannot escape and to check if she has a journal or something to explain why the heck she is out here in this swamp seeing orcs where there are none." Jericho offers to search through all her possessions and look for hidden weapons in her boots, buckle, etc.
Half-elf Rogue 4. AC 21, T 17, FF 14, HP: 34/34, Fort +3, Ref +10, Will +3, Init +6; Perception +10, Shield spell: 1/3
Jericho grunts in pain, as he is sliced by the dwarven waraxe. He momentarily considers switching to lethal harm, what he had been trained for, but continues to inflict nonlethal, and misses. Attack: 1d20 + 10 - 4 ⇒ (8) + 10 - 4 = 14
Half-elf Rogue 4. AC 21, T 17, FF 14, HP: 34/34, Fort +3, Ref +10, Will +3, Init +6; Perception +10, Shield spell: 1/3
Jericho was grateful for the lift to the swamp from the captain - it sure beat walking all the way here. He thanked him for his hospitality and the ride when he disembarked. When the party ached the bog, Jericho looked with disgust as he and the party start wading through the swamp. "This is disgusting. My nice armor and clothes, all getting all wet and maybe worse. And I have no ranged weapons, so it will take a day or more just to reach any monster that pops up in this damn swamp." Jericho was not shy about his b+%%&ing about the swamp.
Half-elf Rogue 4. AC 21, T 17, FF 14, HP: 34/34, Fort +3, Ref +10, Will +3, Init +6; Perception +10, Shield spell: 1/3
Jericho follows suit with Ulmo and moves NE to flank the barbarian. Attack: 1d20 + 12 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 12 + 2 = 22
He then yells to Goliath, "Gimme a sec! I'm coming over soon!"
Half-elf Rogue 4. AC 21, T 17, FF 14, HP: 34/34, Fort +3, Ref +10, Will +3, Init +6; Perception +10, Shield spell: 1/3
Going to post my Round 5 action. Round 5: Jericho Quickly taking a glance around, Jericho realizes that he and Ulmo are the only ones still standing from their party. "Gotta take this barbarian out quick, Ulmo!" Not good. Attack: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (5) + 12 = 17
Half-elf Rogue 4. AC 21, T 17, FF 14, HP: 34/34, Fort +3, Ref +10, Will +3, Init +6; Perception +10, Shield spell: 1/3
Round 4: Jericho Jericho looked to his side to see Ulmo attack the barbarian and land a powerful blow. Maybe he'll swing at the dwarf, since I've been lucky to not get hit. Jericho continues to chip away. Attack on Tark: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (12) + 12 = 24
Half-elf Rogue 4. AC 21, T 17, FF 14, HP: 34/34, Fort +3, Ref +10, Will +3, Init +6; Perception +10, Shield spell: 1/3
Will go ahead and post next round's action. Round 3: Jericho continues chipping away at the orc barbarian, slicing him.
Half-elf Rogue 4. AC 21, T 17, FF 14, HP: 34/34, Fort +3, Ref +10, Will +3, Init +6; Perception +10, Shield spell: 1/3
Round 2: Jericho
Half-elf Rogue 4. AC 21, T 17, FF 14, HP: 34/34, Fort +3, Ref +10, Will +3, Init +6; Perception +10, Shield spell: 1/3
Round 1: Jericho I will assume that we are standing since we were getting our bearing from the poison. Jericho tries to shake off the effects of the poison, as he hears the cook boasting. So the cook and his goon's plan was to knock out the crew and them and then murder them in cold blood...that was nasty and vile. Jericho was pissed. He rushes north toward the orange orc, drawing his elven blade as he moves, until he is adjacent and tries to skewer him! Attack: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (20) + 12 = 32...threat
Half-elf Rogue 4. AC 21, T 17, FF 14, HP: 34/34, Fort +3, Ref +10, Will +3, Init +6; Perception +10, Shield spell: 1/3
Jericho shakes the knight's hand and with a smile, says, "No worries, you were worth saving, Lady Blix. Thanks for the saddle and the information about the secret entrance. We will definitely send word if we learn anything of your ancestor. Be safe." Jericho leads the party back to the boat to continue the journey. That was fruitful indeed.
Half-elf Rogue 4. AC 21, T 17, FF 14, HP: 34/34, Fort +3, Ref +10, Will +3, Init +6; Perception +10, Shield spell: 1/3
Jericho was glad to hear there was not a larger conspiracy between the orcs and giants. "We're headed to Redlake Fort to take on the giants. Have you been there? Anything you can tell us about the place?"
Half-elf Rogue 4. AC 21, T 17, FF 14, HP: 34/34, Fort +3, Ref +10, Will +3, Init +6; Perception +10, Shield spell: 1/3
Jericho yells to the others, "You all got this!" Jericho rushes in to the waystation, looking for the Ozem knight by the name of Blix. He calls out for her, hoping she is still alive. |
