Jericho forgot Ulmo's surname so he surmises that all dwarves have the same or similar clan name. "The circle of stones? Yes, that would helpful if you could guide us there. Also, have you seen any wisps? We need one to fuel the lantern. I think that's what Silvermane said, right?" Jericho looks at the rest of the party, trying to remember.

Jericho looks at the party, as if asking for permission, before his curiosity gets the better of him and he blurts out to the female dwarf, "Were you and your brother looking for the Vault?"

Jericho points to the potion that he identified. "How about we give the dwarf this potion? I believes it removes harmful afflictions. Maybe it will cure him? At least, we know it will not harm him."

"I'd appreciate some healing from the wand, Goliath and great job on that hit. I am not used to attacking without intent to kill." Jericho hears Ulmo's words. "I also say that we search her for possessions to make sure that she cannot escape and to check if she has a journal or something to explain why the heck she is out here in this swamp seeing orcs where there are none." Jericho offers to search through all her possessions and look for hidden weapons in her boots, buckle, etc.

Jericho grunts in pain, as he is sliced by the dwarven waraxe. He momentarily considers switching to lethal harm, what he had been trained for, but continues to inflict nonlethal, and misses.

"Ok, Ulmo, will try not to hurt her." Jericho double moves 30' (since it is difficult terrain) closer to the female dwarf.

Jericho moves 5', spending 20' of movement and swings.

"Oh boy, that's a big one..." Jericho casts Shield on himself and steps forward one square, sword in hand.

Jericho was grateful for the lift to the swamp from the captain - it sure beat walking all the way here. He thanked him for his hospitality and the ride when he disembarked.

When the party ached the bog, Jericho looked with disgust as he and the party start wading through the swamp. "This is disgusting. My nice armor and clothes, all getting all wet and maybe worse. And I have no ranged weapons, so it will take a day or more just to reach any monster that pops up in this damn swamp." Jericho was not shy about his b!*$@ing about the swamp.

"Luckily, I never got hit. I think Ulmo and Goliath are bleeding however." Ulmo took 13 from the orc barbarian and I do not know how much Goliath took from the archer.

Seeing no enemies, Jericho rushes over to Penny, sheathes his sword, and gently pours a potion of cure light wounds down her throat, feeling that she is still warm and not dead.

Jericho follows suit with Ulmo and moves NE to flank the barbarian.

He then yells to Goliath, "Gimme a sec! I'm coming over soon!"

Quickly taking a glance around, Jericho realizes that he and Ulmo are the only ones still standing from their party. "Gotta take this barbarian out quick, Ulmo!" Not good.

Damage: 1d10 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16

Jericho looked to his side to see Ulmo attack the barbarian and land a powerful blow. Maybe he'll swing at the dwarf, since I've been lucky to not get hit. Jericho continues to chip away.

Round 1: Jericho

I will assume that we are standing since we were getting our bearing from the poison.

Jericho tries to shake off the effects of the poison, as he hears the cook boasting. So the cook and his goon's plan was to knock out the crew and them and then murder them in cold blood...that was nasty and vile. Jericho was pissed.

He rushes north toward the orange orc, drawing his elven blade as he moves, until he is adjacent and tries to skewer him!

Attack: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (20) + 12 = 32...threat
Confirmation: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (4) + 12 = 16...don't know
If critical: 2d10 + 18 + 4d6 ⇒ (4, 3) + 18 + (2, 3, 4, 6) = 40
If not critical, 18 points of damage.

Jericho shakes the knight's hand and with a smile, says, "No worries, you were worth saving, Lady Blix. Thanks for the saddle and the information about the secret entrance. We will definitely send word if we learn anything of your ancestor. Be safe."

Jericho leads the party back to the boat to continue the journey. That was fruitful indeed.

Jericho yells to the others, "You all got this!" Jericho rushes in to the waystation, looking for the Ozem knight by the name of Blix. He calls out for her, hoping she is still alive.

"I say we kill them now, rather than later." Once buffed with his Shield spell, Jericho signals the rest of the party to wait and tries to sneak closer to the closest giant wolf to slash him.

Stealth check: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (8) + 13 = 21 --- don't know if that is enough for surprise. If so...

Feeling the weight of his sword in both of his hands, Kericho moves in and graceful slices the large gorilla!

He provokes AoO moving into the creature's threatened area.
Attack: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (20) + 10 = 30
Confirmation: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (19) + 10 = 29
Damage: 1d10 + 9 ⇒ (9) + 9 = 18 x 2 = 36!

The half-elf nimbly moves down the stairs, avoiding the fleeing crewmen when he sees the dwarf bravely standing alone against the giant gorilla. Jericho takes a deep breath and casts Shield on himself. He yells out, "Don't hog up all the fun, Ulmo! I'll be right there."

Jericho gladly gave the wet druid a hearty handshake as he pulled him back on board. "Not the time to go swimming, G!" The half-elf winked with a smile on his face. After things died down, Jericho went back to navigating the boat. He had been glad for the interruption in the monotony of his duties. Unfortunately, his boredom led to him getting distracted!

Jericho stepped on board the keelboat skillfully, happily remembering his days as buccaneer...in a past life. Back then it was the salt air, the river smelled differently, foreign. Yet he still knew his way around a boat. "Captain, I'll volunteer for sounding. I've helped steer a vessel or 2 in my younger years."
