Background: Jericho Darkleaf is the product of his elven father and human mother's joining 25 years ago. He grew up in the fishing village of Erages, which is almost entirely half-elven in the country of Kyonin. His mother, Janis Darkleaf, was a ranger, who fell in love with the elven mage. However, she never disclosed Jericho's father's identity to him. Jericho inherited some of his father's magical aptitude as he learned to cast light as a teenager. Jericho was always curious about his father: did he know about his existence? Had he rejected him because he was a half-breed? These questions became an obsession for the young Jericho. Unfortunately, his mother died shortly after he turned 15 years of age in her adventuring group. Now, basically an orphan, Jericho was mentored by a member of the adventuring band, Volgrym Steeltoe, a procurer of objects, who retired from the group to raise Jericho. He taught Jericho all of his roguish skills. After turning 18, Jericho left Volgrym's side to see the world, where he traveled the seas as a sailor on various ships, touring the world. After 5 years of absence, Jericho decided to visit Volgrym as his retirement village of Trunau. When he arrived, the town was under attack from orcs and Jericho helped defend the town. Now, with a new mission to take out a hill giant chieftain, Jericho is more than ready to make his adopted father proud.
Appearance: Jericho inherited his mother's agility, but his father's elven appearance. He is 5'8" with green eyes, red hair, and pale skin. His lithe figure and sleek movements indicate that you are in the presence of a trained killer.
