Oy, sorry. I should have had my stat line up to date. AC was actually 12 since I wasn't bloodraging, but perhaps I'm flat-footed while jumping and she would have hit me anyway.

Falling to the ground in a heap, Jararaca sees the danger that the harpy presents. He stays on the ground, ready to defend himself if the harpy tries to attack.
Total defense. AC 16/16/14 (prone not included), hp 1/12.

Seeing the bird woman attempting to make for Atmar, Jararaca gets ready to try to jump off the cliff and grab her when she does.
Since I want to jump (a move action) and grapple (a standard action), I believe that requires that I delay until after her next turn.

Turns out I was the only survivor of our first go at the Ruins. Well, the rogue who couldn't stay for the second session made it out too I guess.

Dead
Elven wizard. Dead. Eaten by troglodytes.
Hunter's animal companion. Dead. Eaten by troglodytes.
Human cleric. Dead. Killed by necrophidius.
Dwarven paladin. Dead. Killed by necrophidius.
Human archer. Dead. Killed by necrophidius.
Hunter's 2nd animal companion. Dead. Killed by necrophidius.

Survivors
Hunter, who managed to make it out while disabled and at negative hit points only because he happened to drop outside the lair of the necrophidius and eventually woke up and managed to stumble out without any wandering monsters eating him.
Rogue, who avoided the killer second session :)

Our high spot was managing to kill an ettin with a bunch of first level characters! The racket of criminal elves at the entrance trying to make sure it didn't get to them were a big help.

If not for the jackals, Jararaca probably wouldn't speak up, "I think we should take his body with us. At least long enough to see if we can find a better location to bury it. We're all on foot anyway." Continuing toward the mountains he suggests, "If Ma'Huuk does not see dangerous weather approaching again, it seems to me we should rest here. We're up against nature, not time and pressing on tonight seems dangerous and likely to fatigue us. The pass will still be there in the morning."

Jararaca is glad they were able to hold onto three of the camels. Especially with one bearing the Venture Captain's body. He helps to get the camels to the top of the dune and following advice, puts on the helm and uses some cloth as a mask against the sand. For a long time, he knows nothing, but the wind, sand, and the solid mass of the camel behind him. He can't help but chuckle when Ma'Huuk makes his observation about the sand, "I think we are glad that our camels like all of this sand. Do any of you have any idea where the trail went?" You are also correct on this one. I had somehow gotten a phantom Inspire Courage into my stats so not only is the attack roll one less, but so is the damage. Same applies to the AoO (which hopefully still hits with an 18)

Jararaca has 40 feet of movement and will use a swift action to activate his Cosmic Caravan ability to make it 50 feet. That will allow him to reach the front of his camel and assumes a move action or standard to grab the reins.

Knowing that fighting a pitched battle from a precarious perch atop the camel is doomed to fail, Jararaca hops off the camel toward the northeast landing between the head of Erevan's camel and Vargo. I'm assuming I cannot land on the head of Vargo's camel which tactically would be a better solution for me. He hits the ground and rolls his way around Vargo and his camel, drawing his flying blade and hoping to avoid an attack from one of the bandits attacking Erevan and to find a better position to defend.

Jaracara doesn't seek to purchase anything overnight. He is content to mingle with the travelers of Lopul and learn of places and cultures that he has never seen and mostly never heard of. He looks skeptically at his camel when the decision comes of whose camel to place Targos's body upon. "Hard enough to perch myself upon the camel.
