Jack takes out his flask of Alchemist's Fire and directs Sun to do the same.
"Follow me."
He approaches the edge of the stream slowly and quietly, keeping plenty of distance from the snowman.
It's possible that they could be awoken by movement on the ice. It would be nice to know that before we set foot on it.
He picks up a few pebbles and tosses them toward the middle of the stream.

"I have an idea" Jack says, as he starts drawing a crude map in the snow of the path and the stream, then a small circle representing the snowman trap.
"The trap was not activated until Ghulassen came within 15 feet of it. If we keep our distance and circle around it, we can avoid setting it off, which should allow us to safely cross the river without alerting the ice elementals."
"Furthermore, Sun Xiao and I each have a flask of Alchemist's Fire; if we spring the trap by accident, or the elementals are alerted to our presence by some other means, we can ignite them immediately and turn the battle in our favor!"

I only have 4 power points total, so I tend to burn through them pretty quickly. I used one for mage inertial armor, and another for an energy ray, which missed. I'm starting to think that wasn't the best offensive power I could've taken. :I
Aside from that, my crossbow is my best means of offense right now. I do have Bolt, which gives me some slightly better ammo. It might be the better option for sheer point-to-possible-attacks ratio.
In any case I've got 2 points left, so I'm fine with trying again today if you guys are.
