Tick--Tick, I think you're the only pilot we've got. Obo, you and I can take the guns. Zlee...I don't know. Think good thoughts."

Blazing with solar fire and leaving a trail like a comet, Dae streaks towards the captain and strikes. Radiance bursts forth around them, dazzling Captain Firestorm and Blue. The solarian shouts, "OH, YEAH! You've been HAMMERED!"

Everyone outside of a 15' radius around Dae is concealed against Red and Blue for the next round.

Dae sits bolt upright and grabs their comm unit. They set the camera to selfie mode and worriedly examine their face before relaxing. "Oh, thank the gods! Not even a singed whisker! Oh, and, ah, thanks, Zlee. That thing packed quite a punch."

Zlee should try a Recall Knowledge about the hazard next round--I don't think anyone else is trained in Arcana or Occultism, and those seem like the most likely skills to ID it.

Besides, they're pirates, and the Pirate's Code (apart from being more what you'd call guidelines) doesn't include anything like OSHA.

I'm a little confused here. From the map, it looks like we want to get to A6. When you say "external bridgeway," do you mean something outside of the ship?

Dae glances at their comm unit pickup. "I didn't see that coming! Let's find out what Captain Concierge has to say!" They turn back to the holomander and smile. "Hi there! That sounds like a great idea, but we've got this Corpse Fleet thing happening. Taking over a ship during a firefight doesn't sound like a very good plan."

The first thing Dae grabs is their comm unit, and promptly sets it to record while they don their armor. "Hi, folks. Sorry about going silent for a while--I was captured by pirates! Let's see how I'm going to get out of this fix!" They grin at the camera and invoke their solar weapon, a massive hammer of photonic energy. "Time to charge my plasma-powered pirate thrasher!"
