I think its fine. At present, I just don't have very many bombs/spells you see, and I need to save them in case the thing in the centre animates into something really scary. Its just a temporary problem, at the level we are at, but I don't think it will be an issue in later levels.

Ivy reflects on the challenge the Cardinal had set before them. It was obviously a test, and probably not a lethal one. Ivy doubted that the Cardinal would go to such lengths to break a Knot out of prison and then throw a challenge beyond their abilities. Ivy doubted that the Cardinal couldn't retrieve a pendant himself, which meant that it was more likely than not a test to see how she and her allies worked together as a team. Hmm would I have reason to believe that they have also signed the contract? I believed you had to swear an oath to Asmodeus but she still seems to worship the The Endless Winter instead? On balance, I'd probably still proceed unless we have been told / signed anything that explicitly forbids this. As a reminder, Detect Thoughts is a Spell Like ability granted by my template, and so therefore has no visual / somatic components - its a purely mental action. So, if I do it in a room full of people then hopefully they don't realize its coming from me. So as to not step on Demians toes though, I will actually hold off on using Detect Thoughts until he has been given a solid opportunity to try Diplomacy / communication first via Dream. I don't really want to ruin his attempts by getting us off on the wrong foot

Ivy spends most of her time in her room, taking care to bath each day, and dressing herself in exotic fabrics. She spends an hour each and every morning attempting to master her new Change Shape ability - while she looked fairly human now, she was well aware that her bloodline could trigger far more obvious changes to her apperance, and the ability could prove useful in future. Apart from this, Ivy spends most of her time trying to recreate the poison that had dampened their powers so effectively, trying to master the formula. She also took care to drain her familiar and her own blood for various poisons to stockpile for future use, and researched various creatures that might be resistant to toxin. She allows some time to eat and quickly notices the new arrivals. She attempts to gain information on them via her Detect Thoughts ability (SLA), and at the end of each day, asks a slave for more information about the strangers. If approached, she is happy to converse politely, but otherwise keeps to herself.

Ivy simply signs the contract and accepts a copy which she stores safely. She is grateful at the small gold investment she has received, but decides to avoid any purchases until she knows what tasks will be set ahead of time. Instead, she uses the time to research the alchemical formula that had kept the drugged so she could potentially manufacture her own supply, while draining the toxin running through her blood, as well as the venom from her familiar and storing it in a containing each day for future use.

Ivy finds her room without too much difficulty but declines the aid of a servant. While she had no personal objection to slaves in general, she was a naturally suspicious individual. The slaves owed their loyalty to Tiadora or the Master of the house, not Ivy, and she was concerned they would report back to either party with any observations. If there was one thing Ivy despised, it was giving out free information, and while Tiadora had helped them escape, her attitude indicated that she did not seem them as nothing more than allies at best. Ivy runs a bath for herself, and washes herself, taking particularly care to ensure her apperance was as perfect as she could make it. First impressions counted for something, and as people tended to place a high value on apperance, Ivy made sure to look as attractive as possible. She robes herself in a flowing black dress - contrasting with Tiadora's white outfit, and plays around with various scents until she finds something she likes. When finished, she uses any spare time to attempt to research the formula or poison that had been used on them in prison, in an attempt to try and replicate it. Ivy figured that such a thing might take time, but it was better to get a head start on it as soon as possible.

Hey everyone :) Ivy is an Investigator / Witch with a strong preference on delivering various poisons alongside her Hexes. Ideally, she's going to debuff enemies as much as possible to make everyone elses lives a little easier. She's ok at skills, but probably won't use Inspiration much on them - instead would prefer to use it to bypass poison immunity when it comes up.

Ivy isn't entirely fooled by Tiadora's somewhat less threatening guise. The woman clearly wasn't easily intimidated and was rude - almost arrogant. Which made her master potentially stronger still. Ivy decided to be on her best behavior but she resolved to watch and observe as much as possible. "Why don't we cross the bridge, taking the table or something else suitable for cover, and bring it behind us. If we get ambushed on two sides, at least we have cover and can use that to by extra time to charge the gate. Its possibly the best of both worlds - minus the additional time it might take to cross the bridge with a clunky table of some sort."
