Isaku pulls out a throwing knife, as well as his healer's kit. He takes a deep breath and slices open the worst of his burns, letting some of the pus drain out.

Grimacing against the pain, he applies some antiseptic and sews himself back up.

Unfortunately, the surgery did nothing for his pain. Grunting, he drinks a healing potion instead.

Moderate Healing: 3d8 + 10 ⇒ (5, 6, 4) + 10 = 25

Healed 28 damage total (25 from the potion, 10 from his aeon stone, less 7 from Risky Surgery). He should now be 114/128 if my math is right.

btw, is everyone ok with being shot (with a life shot) during combat? Those willing to be hit are OG to Isaku. Effect is 5d4+7 healing and a +2 bonus to saves vs poisons/diseases for 1 minute. On a crit, I can roll the healing twice and take the higher one.
