Male Human Conjuerer 1

Isaac follows Rorsk and Kitty, pausing intermittently to check for magic.
________
Round 13: Move into the next room and cast detect magic again.
Round 14 Double move to follow Rorsk.

Male Human Conjuerer 1

Isaac waits for the door to open. When that happens, his eyes once again change.

_____
Casting detect magic once the door is open, and following the rest of the group once they move through.

Male Human Conjuerer 1

Isaac follows down the corridor. When the group gets to a branch, he points in the direction that Rorsk did not take, mutters a few words, and the far-away look in his eyes returns.

Round 8: Double move. Round 9: Move 30' following Rorsk, but casting detect magic along the path Rorsk didn't take in order to cover our flank.

Male Human Conjuerer 1

Is anyone else having trouble with the map? When I click on the last map link, I still see only the first room.

Male Human Conjuerer 1

Round 7:

Seeing that Rorsk and Kitty have paused and not wanting to get out ahead of them, Isaac comes to a stop, draws another wand, and activates it.

Move: Draw wand of cat's grace. Standard: activate wand.

Male Human Conjuerer 1

You guys were supposed to be posting actions for rounds 5 and 6; I still had a standard action from round 4. Just thought I'd clarify so that nobody wonders where the extra round went :)
Rounds 5 and 6:

His eyes returning to normal, Isaac whispers "No magic. Let's go." As he is walking down the corridor, Isaac pulls out a wand and activates it. Suddenly, there appear to be five Isaacs.

____________
Round 5: Move 30' and draw wand of mirror image. Round 6: Move 30' and activate wand of mirror image

images: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

Male Human Conjuerer 1

Round 4, standard action:

After Rorsk opens the door, Isaac raises his hand again, and the far-off expression in his eyes returns.

_______________

Casting detect magic into the hallway after the door is open. I'll post more actions once you tell me if the detect spell picks up anything.

Male Human Conjuerer 1

Isaac says, "No magic. Is it safe over there?". Assuming he receives an answer in the affirmative, he rushes over to the door. If his companions haven't opened the door yet, he pulls out a scroll and reads it.

_____________

First round: Double move directly behind Splatter.
Second round (if door not open): pull out scroll of spider climb and read it. If the others have moved into the next room, I will follow and cast detect magic instead of reading the scroll.

Male Human Conjuerer 1

"Bursting" is what I had in mind. Since there wasn't any magic, detect magic should only take 1 round. So I think I'll be through before Rorsk is through searching the room. If so...

Isaac pulls out a wand and activates it.

_______

Using my wand of false life.

Temporary HP: 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

Male Human Conjuerer 1

A medium-built, dark-skinned human nods at Rorsk. "My name is Isaac. It is quite hot; I'll bet you're roasting in that armor. Speaking of which..." He begins casting a spell, and the others can hear a hum of arcane energy. Then, as Rorsk is searching the room for mundane things, Isaac says, "I will use my mage sight." He raises his hand and sweeps it across the room with a far-off expression in his eyes.

________________________
casting mage armor and then detect magic.

Male Human Conjuerer 1

I have a false life wand of my own; I'll use it and save us a round.

Male Human Conjuerer 1

I'm going to go with just a wand of glitterdust; Splatter can point out the area where invisible guys are, and then I can show them to Rorsk and Kitty. I think I'll hold onto the rest of my gold, so I'm ready once I add the wand.

Male Human Conjuerer 1

I'm unsure what to do with my last ~1000 gp. I could get a wand of glitterdust; I think it's better than see invisibility, since it's usable in other situations as well. Other than that, suggestions?

Male Human Conjuerer 1

Sounds good.

Male Human Conjuerer 1

Pretty much same old, same old. I say stick with Flik, unless Wondering is dead-set on playing a rogue-y type.

Male Human Conjuerer 1

And here we see me roleplaying my horrible Appraise roll :). No, actually, I was just just confused.

Male Human Conjuerer 1

The 3,750 is on top of the 6,000 WBL for 4th level, right?

Male Human Conjuerer 1

Appraise: 1d20 ⇒ 3

"Me too, Flik."

Male Human Conjuerer 1

Indeed

Male Human Conjuerer 1

Isaac conjures another snowball and hurls it towards the crab.

Male Human Conjuerer 1

"I'm glad to be on the same team as you too, Flik. Having you to disarm all the traps and find all the things has come in handy. It looks like we're going to have to backtrack to find the flag."

Male Human Conjuerer 1

Sleep only works on 4 HD of creatures. It's centered on the ratfolk's square, so he's affected first. The 1 HD remainder isn't enough to affect Flik.

Male Human Conjuerer 1

Isaac steps into the other room and says, "I'm going to try making you sleep. If you go willingly, we'll let you live." Then he starts waving his hands and casting a spell.

Male Human Conjuerer 1

A bolt of freezing air and ice erupts from Isaac's hand as he strikes out blindly towards the last known location of the ratfolk.

concentration check: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21 Not sure if my +1 to CL on conjuration spells applies, but (if so) add 1.

Male Human Conjuerer 1

Isaac raises his hand and a ball of snow appears in his hand. He throws it at the vampiric figure.

ranged touch attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12 damage: 4d6 + 8 ⇒ (5, 2, 4, 2) + 8 = 21

Using Rime Spell. If he takes damage, he's entangled.

Male Human Conjuerer 1

Isaac reads his scroll and steps up behind Jing.

_______________________

Standard: read scroll. Move: If I have this figured out correctly, Flik is invisible in one of the squares in front of the door, and Jing is standing in the other; I want to be right behind Jing. BTW, I have the effects of cat's grace already figured into the stats in my alias. The numbers in brackets with two asterisks are with cat's grace.

Male Human Conjuerer 1

I'll probably use a Rime Spell-ed Snowball on whoever looks like they're going to be the toughest for Jing to hit.

Male Human Conjuerer 1

Isaac nods to Flik's pantomiming and pulls out a scroll and a wand. He activates the wand first, and all of a sudden there seem to be three extra Isaacs. Then, surmising from the way Flik is holding the scroll that he is worried about the noise from reading the scrolls, Isaac mouths to Flik: On three.. Then he counts to three with his fingers. As he reaches three, he unrolls the scroll and begins reading it.

__________
Activating the wand of mirror image and reading the scroll of cat's grace.
mirror images: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Male Human Conjuerer 1

"Understood."

Male Human Conjuerer 1

Isaac moves to cover the door that Jing suggested while Flik is working on it.

Male Human Conjuerer 1

Agreed.

Male Human Conjuerer 1

"We can try lifting that portcullis, though I'm not sure how much help I'll be with that. If it's going to take too long to get it open, we might be better off taking another route." Isaac moves over to the portcullis and gets a grip on it so that he can help Jing try to lift it.
______________________________

Aid another to help raise portcullis: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (12) - 1 = 11

Male Human Conjuerer 1

Isaac moves towards the door and waits for Flik to give the all clear signal.

Male Human Conjuerer 1

Isaac looks around the room in which he has found himself to see if he notices anything out of the ordinary. Assuming everything seems fine, he casts a spell and then reads from a scroll. Having prepared, he motions towards the door. "Shall we?"

Putting me in the middle seems reasonable.

Male Human Conjuerer 1

Orc bloodline gives him darkvision and light sensitivity.

This is sarpadian's alias. I think I'm ready, unless anybody has great suggestions for stuff to spend 123 gp on :).

Would you consider Pipsoo for the rogue-ish slot? I'm planning on taking ranged touch spells mainly, so I could fill a ranged role (with sneak attack if I'm within 30 ft.)

How do you feel about a goblin wizard who was exiled from his clan for liking to read? He has gone exploring in search of a place where people will accept him, instead of assuming that he's like most goblins. Obviously, he would have to be leveled up and re-crunched. I'm thinking either wizard 2/rogue 2 or wizard 3/rogue 1.

Here's Pipsoo, a goblin conjurer wizard who will take at least one level of rogue. He was exiled from the Birdcruncher goblins for liking to read. He eventually made his way to Korvosa, where his natural sneakiness led to him finding work with the Lamm's gang. Eventually, he snuck his way into the Acadamae, but Lamm didn't like that his eavesdropping arcane studies were taking away from his productivity, so Lamm recently ratted him out to the Acadamae's staff. Pipsoo is about average size for a goblin. He wears loose-fitting, black robes. His being rejected by everyone (his family, Lamm, the Acadamae) has made him a rather shy, retiring sort (though he enjoys practical jokes, if he thinks he can get away with them).

Added a short backstory and description to the profile.
