Hi,
the rouge in my party has Hide in Plain sight (as a Shadowdancer), he just taken the feat Spring Attack, and he invested heavily in acrobatics:

right now he's favorite tactic is to approach an enemy while hiding, sneak attack it once, continue his move action to get a way from the enemy - using acrobatics to avoid attack of opportunity - and while moving using his HiPS ability to hide again.
then he repeat the sequence over and over again.

is it legal? should he be able to both use acrobatic AND stealth check in the same move action?
it's absolutely devastating against non magical enemies (he has a VERY high stealth score)

They are alive.

The fact that their very being is very diffrent then the 'normal' biological creatures you know - doesn't mean it isn't alive.

"it's a life form and it has intelligence!" (StarTrek phrase :) )

You don't need a soul to be alive - for that matter angels, demons, and other outsider don't have a soul of their own, as their an aspect of the plane that created them - does that mean their not alive?

Plant creature - not flesh and blood - and has a ton of immunities - but still -they're considered alive.

Construct? you also have a Warforged creature, which by it's very definition is 'Living construct'.

You just need to expand your notion of the concept 'alive'.

Hi,
I saw some threads about building but nothing that covered what I'm looking for:

A player in my party has reached enough wealth, so he want to build a new inn inside a newly founded city.

I'm having hard time evaluating the cost.
seeing as D&D 3.5e defined cost of simple house: 1000; grand house 5000.
I'm thinking that 3,000gp will be enough for a simple 2 story inn, with 3-5 guest rooms in the top level.

for moderate inn, bigger, 3 story high, with about ~6 rooms per floow - about 10,000gp.

and for a grand inn, that sounds very close to how 3/5e defined a mansion - which cost 50,000gp.

what do you think?
does that sounds alright to you ?
