The group finds Iorskan sound asleep, having fallen into something often called a “food coma.” The little wyrm had been famished, and after eating so quickly had curled up and passed out. Wasn’t getting updates, I must have hit the ‘x.’ Flushed with more work than usual and just rolled rolled with it. My apologies to the group for dropping the ball

Iorskan happily chewed on one of the murdered men’s legs. The snapping of bone could be heard, along with growls of contentment, as the wyrm feasted. His tail swisher back and forth as he tore a chunk of meat free.

My mistake, didn’t realize Bite: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17
Claw: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16
Claw: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14
Glad to finally be allowed to begin having lunch, Iorskan leapt towards the chance to feed.

Climb: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
Quietly, and very slowly, Iorskan climbed out of the water. The guards were distracted. Now was the best time to slip past them...or if need be eat their legs.

Perception to find a place to get out of the water and near the target without being seen: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
”Two soft skins, watching both times.” Iorskan said, not wanting to get the race wrong. All soft skins looked alike. He swam as quietly as he could...

If Iorskan could have shrugged he would have. So long as it wasn’t his hoard that was getting smaller. He felt a growl in his stomach, and was happy. He fought best when hungry. He really hoped the pirates picked a fight.

Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10 Iorskan saw boats, but how was he supposed to know if there were people inside? He wished that he could fly, but he knew that in time it would happen. He just needed more practice, and to grow stronger. And the best way to get stronger was to eat strong people so that he could eat their strength. The little dragon slapped his tail on the ground impatiently. If the others didn’t want a boat, then they had best swim with him.

Iorskan sat and waited for the soft skins to make up their mind. Swimming was fine. A boat would work, but where would they find one? He didn’t want to empty his hoard in buying one, and on a boat they could get shot. Much better to just walk up under the pretense of saying hello and then eat-murder them all.

Iorskan went from looking disappointed to interested in record time. ”Eat-murder small human yes! Halfling or little woman eat-all. Big human, no. Maybe just legs. People come in many sizes.”

Iorskan’s head popped up at the mention of gold. It made his cold little heart beat faster. For the first time he deigned to speak in common. Common”Eat Vark, yes?” The last word came out in a hiss. ”Eat Vark men? Or no eat-murder?”

Draconic”Here we go again.” Iorskan muttered as he got to his feet and lazily stretched. Speaking in the common tongue just didn’t feel right. It was as undignified as wearing pants. Which meant that it was something that he was willing to do, but it didn’t mean that he’d enjoy it.
If it is all the same I’ll go with ABP. The way I did it before was assuming that his share of the treasure was just hoarded away, never to be used or spent. It felt very Draconic. Then again that campaign only lasted until Lvl4, so it’s not like he ever got *that* much of a hoard. Starting Gold: 1d6 ⇒ 6
4d6 ⇒ (4, 6, 2, 1) = 13
4d6 ⇒ (3, 5, 2, 2) = 12
4d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 1, 2) = 7
4d6 ⇒ (6, 6, 2, 5) = 19
4d6 ⇒ (4, 2, 4, 6) = 16
4d6 ⇒ (6, 2, 5, 3) = 16
17/17/16/16/12/9 Str (17) Dex (14) Con (18) Int (9) Wis (12) Cha (19) Very good rolls. Only played a taninim once before, as seen with this alias. It was a blast, and was really sad to see the campaign end when it did. I’ll rework him into this one. Race: Taninim /// Class: Taninim Exemplar. Would love to be in a party with more than one flying lizard. When playing a taninim can I use automatic bonus progression? Because a dragon with a cloak, a headband, an amulet and two rings just sounds...strange.

Thank you for running this. I had a blast! You were a great GM and I’ll keep an eye out for your recruitment threads. And I do commend you for being upfront rather than letting this linger and die.

The issue here, I think, is that our goal was to meet the family of a PC. We did that, but we need a goal from there. Because the scene cuts out most PCs due to toe stepping. I’d advise for using this to Segway into a new plot point. Such as the elves requesting help with dealing with a threat to them. Such as a marauding giant and his tribe. Or if you are feeling evil, have it be a territorial dispute with Brevoy that has fallen into violence that the elves are afraid they will lose. They are planning on fleeing from Brevonian aggression...but if someone could drive away the settlers.... Basically pick a plot you want to explore and move the tracks towards there.

It was only now dawning on him on how odd his friends were. He had thought it completely normal to eat-murder everything that you don’t yell at until they became your friend. But these elves seemed to be completely different. Though he had to admit that for all their regalnsss he quite preferred the bombastic nature of his group. Especially as it seemed that he’d finally get to eat the Satyr! He still didn’t know why they insisted on bringing it along, but it seemed to make them happy so he didn’t care. But now? Now he’d get to finally eat it! Maybe. The logic of the two legged races was still foriegn to him.

Iorskan froze, completely blindsided. Here was the respect that he craved. But for some reason the words stuck in his mouth. This elf felt old. Old enough to know of the dragons he wanted to be. His own insecurities of still being so small, so young, were there. If a dragon could have blushed then he would have. With all intention of murder leaving as quickly as it had come, he said happily Draconic”I am Iorskan, lord of the Sootscale Tribe.” It was the only honorific be had actually earned. ”It is a pleasure, Ruith. There was a misunderstanding. I have no desire to eat your people.” He said helpfully.

Iorskan barely had time to react as the club came at him. Luckily it glanced off of him, causing no physical harm of note. Which was truly lucky, for he knew what the orc’s club could do. "Stay away from me." He growls.
A flash of anger shone in his reptilian eyes. Murderous anger. Draconic”These elves are the worgs? I will burn them all.” He said, coldly. His body already heating up for the upcoming slaughter. He didn’t know what these elves had done to his friend, but they would pay with their lives! He looked at Awn. Common”Vengeance for blood-friend.” He warned. These were Awn’s friends. But they had apparently hurt Guthruc. It was a complicated matter and he was not a complicated creature. So the best solution was to give advance warning of the upcoming elven buffet. That way everyone would be happy...?

Seeing Guthruc's distress, Iorskan circled and then landed next to the orc. He did so without fear, for the thought of the orc attacking him hadn't even crossed his mind. Draconic"Don't eat them, they don't even look that tasty." He said in hissing tones. Draconic"Besides, look how thin they are. I bet their bones will get stuck in your teeth."

Iorskan flew overhead, completely sure of his majesty. Even if this place had more majesty than he had ever seen before, he was certain that he still had more. Completely certain. No doubts. Maybe a few. Regardless, he half-hoped for the elves to attack as he still hadn’t eaten one before. They didn’t look like they would be tasty (all skin and bone) but that just might mean that there was more flavor. Especially the one by the cooking fire that was looking at him. Luckily Iorskan was older and wiser than he used to be, so he knew that the elves would likely take offense if one of them went missing. And he did want to be a good guest, so he wouldn’t make such a social faux pas.

Hi! I’m here! (In hell. Fort Polk is hell. I’m convinced that there is an elder god slumbering in the woods of Fort Polk, and the only thing that keeps it asleep is the infusion of massive amounts of human suffering. Thus the army has made JRTC. We are on the tail end, and we still had a day that went from 5am to 2am, and was nothing but dumb shit) Anyways...I’m here

For the first time Iorskan spoke. ”Stag Lord? We ate him.” He motioned to his Orcish comrade, for it was a shared feast. Not that these elves deserved to hear his voice. They couldn’t even eat trappers and traders. Pathetic. But it annoyed him to still hear people being afraid of that man after he had already been devoured.
