Illyri strides foward toward Avicia, the gear in hand. Well, well, well. Fancy meeting you here in a place like this, Avicia
Illyri quietly slips out, the loot wrapped up in her cloak. She sets out to find where she can unload "found" goods.
Ok. Even though my character stole it, the ring should come out of my share but I am not sure what it is in or out of character. Other than that, I have no other claims. The match set of rings should be kept though. Alistair's idea works too.
I was looking forward to seeing his character too, but oh well. It also sucks because I lost my most promising flanking buddy. I say we open up recruitment to replace his role or let Avicia find one among the people who would like to join.
When the party is done divvying up the loot, Illyri will offer to go fence the other goods, stating she knows a guy. If no one objects, she will spend the rest of the evening fencing the goods, then going to sleep
Illyri returns the the kick. Now, now, Avicia. Let's not be too greedy. I'm sure if he could, our employer will pay more. And if our employer gets back on his feet, it would be best for us to be in his good graces, so we are first in his mind when he needs help again.

The potions and alchemist's fire should be kept. Illyri is keeping the identification papers and the ring for...reasons. But I doubt anyone else wants those. The only thing Illyri would really want is the dagger, but she already has 2 masterwork daggers and shouldn't be that greedy. The silver compass could be useful at some point. Someone should take that. Also, what is on the parchment?
Illyri, who has been eyeing all the loot on the table, speaks "Well I don't care much for ships, but even without the ship, we'll probably find plenty more to pay our selves. Goods have probably spoiled and rotted, but on his crown ship, there's bound to be magical wares aboard to keep or sell."
Illyri starts counting counting the dragonshards in the bag as she says "Yes, tell us more about this job."

Illyri drops the sizeable pile of things on the table, along with the advanced pay. She starts making piles of things. Phat Loot:

Illyri pockets the identification papers and the ring the dwarf had on him Well, we need to divide all this up. Who wants what? As she does so, she looks at the parchment.
As she gathers up the stuff she finds, she says "We'll divide all this stuff up later." She then starts carefully searching the next body.
Illyri will take her time, careful not to miss any baubles. She'll start with the dwarf.
Illyri immediately starts rummaging through the corpses of the pirates. All in a days work! Now, what did you lads have?
As Illyri dodges the dwarf's attack, she stabs at him, purposely missing, but ensuring he is off balance against her next attack.
Illyri will tumble through to the other side, to C1 .
As she ducks and weaves through the fray she shouts at the Dwarf
Surprisingly enough, my weekend included all of those things. I went to a con with a group of friends for the weekend.
Might I make a suggestion? Instead off having everyone go in explicit initiative order, simply let everyone post their action when they can and then you resolve it after, making adjustments or allowing the player to change their action if someone higher in the initiative does something to affect that. This way, a combat round should take no more than a day, rather than 3+, if everyone can post that day.

Well I never say no to a free drink, but something tells me this drink won't be free. Those two have been staring at us since we walked in, and experience tells me that drinks sent by mysterious and hooded strangers sitting in the shadiest corner of an already shady tavern means they want something done. C'mon, ladies, let's go see what they want. Illyri downs the shot quickly, then strides over to the pair, her glass of Hero's Blood in hand. She sits down next to the human and asks What he said. What's the job? She seems highly amused by this turn of events.
She turns back to the bar. Well that could have been awkward. Smiles, I'll have that room and that glass of Hero's Blood now. And send another one to that hobgoblin over there. Tell him 'Thank you'. She puts all six galifars from her winnings on the bar, then proceeds to put the cards from her sleeve back into her bag, not exactly trying to hide it.

Illyri plays two games with them, the second going much better for her than the first. She talks and flirts with them to keep them off their game. That's right Illyri, lull them into a false sense of security, then blow them away... Nice playing with you boys, but I believe in quitting while I am ahead. When she is done, she goes back to the bar to get a room and a meal.
