Syrinx is a playable race as indicated in the Pathfinder Campaign Setting: Inner Sea Bestiary with RP of 16.

Yet I am unable to locate stats related to height and weight, starting ages, and the age categories for the Syrinx. Also the typical classes the Syrinx take, considering they created the Strix to be their warriors defending their territories.

There is little lore available, considering the Syrinx is from the Arcadia continent, which there is very few products that cover this continent.

Could any of the creators of Syrinx please help out with the envisage stats and lore for the Syrinx.

Of course this information would also be usable for PF2 too, as it these stats are fairly system rules agnostic.

I decided to try out the Drake Companion from Legacy of Dragons source book as it is provided (even with it's issues mentioned by many posters). I know of an alternative (homebrew) version of Drake Companion located on reddit.

What I need help with, which can be applied to any version of Drake Companion, is a list of suitable feats the drake may take during levelling progression. I am pretty stumped on what feats that would compliment the drake. The list of available feats is huge, and with many not suitable for drakes, and I fear I will miss suitable feats, while going brain dead ploughing through the huge list.

If this is of any use, I taken the Draconic Druid archetype for the character.

The druid feats for level 20 is only for Wild Order (though like the idea of Circle), nothing for Animal, Leaf and Storm Orders.

The True Shapeshifter feat seems rather meaningless for the Wild Order, considering to obtain it you need Dragon Shape, which in turn requires the lower type Shapes. Thus by the time you get to level 20 one has most of the Shapes already. Why spend an use on shapechange, when you can spend an use on any of the lower prerequisite Shapes.

As the druid stands, there is no excitement or benefit for attaining level 20 as a druid, even for the rest Orders other than Wild. Please revise the Capstone level of druid to give some excitement to wanting to get to level 20.

I love playing adventures in settings made of multiple genres, particular combining fantasy and sci-fi together with possible other genres such as post apocalyptic and the dark side rules.

Some adventures was difficulty due to the rules being rather different to get them to integrate.

By designing Starfinder to also be an extension of Pathfinder would ease the process of creating complex genre settings and adventures. Would allow the use of many existing third party content with Starfinder, with minor or no adjustments needed. The Technology Guide was definitely the first step to achieving the goal of fantasy sci-fi adventures, and Starfinder should continue the process of extending Pathfinder, if even creating stand alone core rule books for the setting.

I more concerned of the integration aspects, that what the aliens and monsters would be, or the extensive technologies that would be available until the Gravity Age (final advancement Age).

I require some clarification regarding druids that follow deities having a domain instead of animal companion. Of course deities that support nature are valid, or the animalistic deities also being valid.

Are druids proficient with the favoured weapon of their deity?

Yep, old topic.

Seeing we now have the chance to upgrade our pledges in the fulfilment system that was made available in May and be available in June to make changes.

Now there is a few add-on pledges I would like to have, but don't want to end up wasting a very large money (or in your strong currency about 200 USD) for absolutely nothing if PFO does not work on Linux.

If you ever decide to support the Linux community, would you consider reopening the pledge upgrades for the Linux players can also benefit from taking part in the original KickStarter pledge of PFO.

I see the devs mentioned the issues of latency in this week's blog I Fell into a Burning Ring of Fire.

I would like to know how the devs are planning to handle the issue of latency for all the non-USA based players considering their is only going to be 1 server (cluster) for PFO. If the server was in Europe, I would suffer only about 500 ms lag, in comparison to the typical lag of 1000 ms to 2000 ms for a USA server.

Playing on USA servers for games is suicidal, even worse with PvP, and generally not fun at all constantly dying because of bad lag.

2 people marked this as a favorite.

I starting this thread to see who wants to play druids. What their dreams are and their fears would be in PFO in terms of the game mechanics.

I see the druids being pretty much the same as the bandits, not having a settlement called home, but rather scattered through out the lands. Druids would by far be living in the wilds, the dangerous terrain, in order to keep with the theme of being a druid. Away from the protection of settlements, regardless of settlement's alignment.

I see druids not having a guild as such, but a loosely connected group of characters with a common goal of looking after nature.

Similar to bandits having hideouts, we the druids would not have settlements full of various buildings and a kingdom boundary that is home to the settlement. Druids transverse the boundaries of kingdoms. Yet druids would have some simple structures to perform their tasks, and to live in. Structures would mainly be huts, stone hedges, secret groves, faerie circles, etc that are scattered throughout the wilderness. Though there may be a structure in a neutral settlement that the druids could use.

At the moment, there is not much for the druids in terms of the alignment flags.

At least Ryan said, the druids should get their animal companion. That is very good news for us.

So how should the druids go about forming a 'secret' druidic convenient, working together at times to repair nature, defend nature from gross misconduct. Hey, the druids supposed to have a secret language after all for communication.

So other druids out there, what are your ideas, concerns, etc of being a druid in PFO.

The Sneak Attack feature is not suitable for the desired new Rogue archetype. I would like to replace the Sneak Attack feature of the Rogue class to another roguish feature.

I see all the other archetypes for Rogue replaced either the Trap related feature or the Dodge related feature. None replaced the Sneak Attack feature.

I would like to know the feat structure for the Sneak Attack feature, so I can replace the Sneak Attack with other feats at the appropriate level.

I appreciate any advice or information to help me in doing the Sneak Attack replacement.

With the changes to the sorcerer class with the addition of bloodlines I noticed the Dragon bloodline special qualities are very similar to the half-dragon template (AL +3). What happens in this particular case? Do the features simply stack. Some the damage size increase by 1 step. Or does the half-dragon taking the sorcerer gain additional extra features specifically only for half-dragons to counter the effects of duplication between half-dragon race and sorcerer class dragon bloodline.

Similar situation may occur with other race templates.

From what I read in Alpha 3, I can't wait to see the final release in August 2009.
