Spear still held before her, Ilenna tiptoes to the edge of the room. She never takes her eyes off the bed. Did you hear me little guy? We just need what we came for. We aren't going to hurt you. She keeps an eye out for where the trinket might be. Perception to find trinket: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23

Ilenna looks at Lars with a look of complete exasperation. Will you keep it in your pants for two minutes while we handle this? The druid pushes past Lars and into the room with spear in hand. As she approaches cautiously, she keeps an eye out for the box and calls out to the creature. We don't mean you any harm! Just looking to retrieve something and be on our way! Wild Empathy: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (9) + 0 = 9 Wild Empathy Text: A druid can improve the attitude of an animal. This ability functions just like a Diplomacy check made to improve the attitude of a person. The druid rolls 1d20 and adds her druid level and her Charisma modifier to determine the wild empathy check result. The typical domestic animal has a starting attitude of indifferent, while wild animals are usually unfriendly. To use wild empathy, the druid and the animal must be able to study each other, which means that they must be within 30 feet of one another under normal conditions. Generally, influencing an animal in this way takes 1 minute but, as with influencing people, it might take more or less time. A druid can also use this ability to influence a magical beast with an Intelligence score of 1 or 2, but she takes a –4 penalty on the check.

Ilenna shoots Jeanna a condescending look. She just said she bends devils to her will. she begins closing the gap between her and Jeanna. I don't know much about devils, but I doubt they are well behaved. The last sentence is punctuated with Ilenna bending over, grabbing the letter opener, and snapping back up to keep giving Jeanna the stink eye. Now... shall we? She asks the rest of the group as she moves to the door.

You... use devils for their power? That must be something!Ilenna says slightly awestruck. Is that how this woman came to such beauty and station? Devils? Anyways, yes! We are here to retrieve that trinket. If we could just take it and be on our way... she says eyeballing the door. Something about this woman both struck her as awesome and terrifying.

"Nora, ulale." Ilenna says pointing to a spot at the bottom of the steps to the porch. Druidic:
Nora, lie down. She mounts the steps up the porch and moves to the door. After a short pause, she thinks Maybe I am not the best one to be knocking on this woman's door... . At that she hesitates and stays behind Jeanne.

Ilenna steps up to Abu Rhazim and hands him the note with the list of errands. Her jaw drops slightly upon seeing the thing in Abu's turban. The serious image she was trying to cultivate in front of the venture-captain slips at the sight of the elemental. What is that?! Can I... can I touch it? She asks as her hand reaches up to point at it.

A tiny woman with wild brown hair enters the room with a large tiger next to her. Her clothing is adorned in clippings of plants and small strips of animal pelts. She listens to the captain's orders and replies with a "Yes, Venture-Captain" Though these types of formalities were rare for her, she figured back sass would get her nowhere with this man. Ilenna looks at the wild looking man with a look of mild shock and confusion. While he is talking about battle; she walks over to him, snatches the list from his hand, and says under her breath to him "Anything beats being cooped up in the Grand Lodge cleaning." Figuring the man didn't hear her during his tirade, she begins reading and taking mental notes of who they were meeting and where they were going.

Player Name Keltor Dox/Dylan
Ilenna shoots Sidi a sideways look, mouth scrunched up with an eyebrow raised. Yeah, I plan on keeping her that way. She steps outside with her two new companions in tow. A language neither of you know nor may be familiar with comes out of her mouth. Nora! Nginezinkumbulo Ungadla ngawe! Druidic: Nora! I have a snack for you!
"Well Sidi... I'm glad the Pathfinders found you. I uh... couldn't imagine living life chained up." Illena pauses, elbows on the table tapping her fingers together, and looking around awkwardly. After a couple seconds of uncomfortable silence, she notices the newcomer to the table. "Hi! Who are you? I'm Ilenna." She sticks out a hand now covered in grease and meat from the bones to shake the cleric's hand.
Ilenna looks the large man in blue up and down, as he was now talking to himself while walking behind her. She shakes her head and sits back down with Sidi. Unloading the bones onto the table, she absentmindedly picks at a leftover piece of meat. I hope I can get off this island and roam soon. How'd you get those scars? She blurts out at Sidi, when she notices his fidgeting.
Feet up above the bar, Ilenna finally finds a scrap bucket near the floor. All in one move, she grabs a few meaty bones, and twists her body around to lock the inside of her knees around the bartop. Then she pulls her body up into a sitting position on the bar, before sliding down into the stool next to El. Acrobatics for that nifty little move 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19 She giggles again at the man's questions. He was much larger than he appeared when up this close. Nope, she's just a regular ole jungle cat as far as I know. Saved her from some merchants that had her in a cage several years ago. We've been inseparable ever since! Come sit with us! We'll all go see her later. After placing a few silver on the bartop, she starts making her way back to the table with an armload of bone scraps.
Ilenna gets pushed down slightly by the weight of El's massive hand. She brushes off the shoulder lightly and gives him a quizzical look, as she continues rummaging through the bar. Nora's my best friend! She's a Mwangi Tiger. And she gets grumpy when she's hungry! The last sentence comes out a little louder, so the barkeep can hear. You are more than welcome to come see her after I leave for the night. Sidi already expressed interest.
Yeah, I suppose so. She says, resting her chin in her palm and looking up towards the ceiling. Absalom is a great city from what I've seen so far, but I am already starting to miss the wilds. She stands abruptly, still continuing her conversation with Sidi. Making her way to the bar without paying much attention to her own bad manners, Counting, huh? she shouts over her shoulder, as she stands on the rungs of a bar stool and leans over the bar with her backside in the air. That does sound worse than the menial cleaning tasks they have me doing. Not by much, but still worse for sure! She rummages through the mugs and bottles of alcohol much to the bartender's horror from the look on his face. Hey, barkeep! You guys got any scraps of meat or bone from dinner back there? Nora's probably getting hungry and bored out there!
Noting the disinterested look on Janira's face as she vaguely reaches for Ilenna's knee, Ilenna reaches out to lightly slap Janira's hand in a half-hearted high five. Perception on Janira:
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12 She turns from the obviously distracted halfling back to Sidi and the interesting man. Well she certainly seems distracted! She takes another swig from her mug, much larger than one would think such a small person would be capable of. Looks like it's back to dusting the trophies in the Grand Lodge for me! Gonna need a few more of these! She signals to get the bartender's attention, points at her drink, and continues her conversation with Sidi.
Ilenna watches as the large man in blue runs in and out shouting like a madman. Hopefully he didn't wake up Nora. She really hates being woken up from a nap. As he mimics holding a fish, she bursts into uncontrollable giggles, dumbfounded by this man. Shaking her head to get rid of the giggles and resume her conversation with Sidi... I started an apprenticeship with the Grand Lodge about a week or so ago. The people seem great and the fit seems right, but they keep giving me busy work... cleaning floors, running messages, and the like. I have much more to offer than just being a maid! After all that work I came here for a stiff drink. Apparently I made the right decision... She grabs the mug of mead that had just been placed before her and takes a long drink before slamming it back down, causing mead to slosh onto the table. Which lodge do you represent, Sidi? How long have you been a Pathfinder?
Sidi's hand dwarfs Ilenna's as she shakes it. Pleased to meet you! I hail from Varisia, though I haven't been back in years. Nora and I have pretty much stuck to the forests exploring as much as we can, just the two of us. We heard about the Society and came to join up. I don't know much about the latest fashions. These are just a few trinkets that I picked up in my travels. She says, gesturing to the assorted items hanging off her clothing.
Oh, Nora is just outside on the porch, probably asleep if I had to guess. You can meet her in a little bit, if you would like. She doesn't bite... unless I want her to. She says, flashing that rogueish smile again at the man who adressed her. Not really great with social cues, she awkwardly sticks her hand out to answer his curt bow and greet the man. Like I said, I am Ilenna. Come sit with us if you'd like. After this conversation we can go visit Nora.
Ilenna had been eavesdropping on the conversation between the halfling and the man from a dimly lit table along the side of the tavern. She sipped her honey mead, as she watched a few other patrons approach the pair. Getting to speak with these two is going to be more difficult than I would have thought. After finishing her cup, she begins moving towards the halfling. The human woman steps into the light of the tavern. Little animal bones, leaves, and the furs of small game hang from her belt and leather armor. A green cloak hangs from her narrow shoulders. The edges of the cloak are worn on the fringes from scraping the ground due to her short stature. She has a spear made of some dark wood slung over her shoulder. Excuse me! she says to the tall boastful man in blue as she attempts to move around him, nearly being knocked out by his flailing arms. Finally moving to the halfling's table she says, Janira, was it? I overheard you talking about going to the Cortos Mountains. I am just an initiate looking to make a name for myself in the Society and explore more of Golarion. However, I have plenty of skills to contribute to your mission. And what I lack, Nora more than makes up for. They wouldn't let her in... She rolls her eyes while gesturing to the door guard. ...something about this being no place for a tiger. She'd be far less disruptive than that large fellow in the blue. She says slightly raising her voice so the man could hear. A rogueish smile breaks across her face, as she glances at the man. By the way, I am Ilenna. So sorry! She says abruptly, thrusting her hand out to formally greet the halfling. I have not played this before, and it will be my first stride into PFS. I have played some PbP before |
