XP 6

^.^ Thanks, and I can easily roll this name into another Goron style character...oh idea....ill sleep on it.

XP 6

I've been really busy myself and neglecting my other games. So I feel bad in general about it. But I am trying to make things more manageable.

XP 6

If that is your wish I am fine with it. Would love to at least read your other games and/or participate!

XP 6

I know. You pointed out that I got a point in a post and knew at seven I would level. I was merely premptively asking

XP 6

Do I level now? Or when the characters next rest since ill hit 7 XP?

XP 6

Hycorerox seeing the gauze would reach up gathering them even as he looked around.

A door that leads to cold darkness, Where do we go from here? What can help us find something to help us continue.

Discern Realities: 2d6 + 2 ⇒ (6, 3) + 2 = 11

XP 6

Hycorerox would jump up and down slightly and turns to take the lead. Making sure any illusion he was able to see through, he comically showed was fake.

Discern Realities: 2d6 + 2 ⇒ (2, 2) + 2 = 6

But seemed to have no idea where to go from here so he scuttled about waving at illusions.

XP 6

Traveling, will post when settled

XP 6

Hyecorerox nods and would tap the earth with his many legs. The earth was solid so that he could trust. Glaring from his lower angle at everything he remembered that at the top of the volcano the heat would bend the light and shadow giving off its own illusions.

Discern Realities: 2d6 + 2 ⇒ (3, 5) + 2 = 10

Moving up to Anya and Remia and waved at them holding out his legs before slowly making his way towards the other room. He motioned to his eyes and pointed to the wall, then tap-tap-tapped the ground in front of him. Moving forward to the illusion and waved his legs through comically.

XP 6

Hycorerox looks at them and would wave them to back away from the edge so he could leap over. Once they were over he would Leap across easily. Before looking at Anya wondering what she was doing.

XP 6

Hycorerox saw the redead and looked up. Gathering himself he used Leap high to jump back out of the ravine on the side he fell down on. After all, he couldn't see where everyone was on the one side.

Using 1 hold on Leap High

Landing some distance from the edge of the ravine he turned to look at his companions and lifting one leg waved.

XP 6

If Remia needs help over he would provide it. Aid Another Remia: 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (3, 1) + 1 = 5

After she was across he would focus on his form calling to the spirits of the land to shape his form into a tektite.

Shapeshift: 2d6 + 2 ⇒ (3, 1) + 2 = 6

Wow, just....wow

XP 6

Hycorerox would put down Remie as he would look across the chasm. Looking at his spear and her he watched Riza vault over.

Studying the distance again he would wait until Riza made it to he other side.

Looking at Little Remia he pointed across then made a tossing motion as it asking if she wanted to be tossed over.

XP 6

Using Shapeshift Wis +2 to turn into a tektite

XP 6

Hycorerox murmurs to himself as his foot stomps slightly before he moved forward. He saw the jump and knew he wasn't the best at jumping so he started to look around for something to help them cross. He was careful with Remia on his shoulder making sure his hand was up anytime he leaned over so she could stay on and upright. He checked the edge of the chasm to see how stable the rock was.

Discern Realities: 2d6 + 2 ⇒ (4, 2) + 2 = 8

What could help us get across

XP 6

Hycorerox would pull out some oil filling the brazier if it didn't already have something to burn then pours a little bit of water into the bottom. Making sure the others are back he would pull out a small box, pulling out a silver white metal and puts it in the water and backs up. A hissing sound then a small explosive reaction as the metal reacted to the water and caught fire. (Sodium ^.^) The greenish flames danced as the long lasting burning item would start to burn.

Nodding he would put the box back up. "Nature provides always, if you understand its ways."

XP 6

"Redeads are tied to the land, locked in their bodies as they died where they stand. Hunger and thirst are what they desire. The life force of others is what they acquire. In sunlight they can not move. Look upon them and you won't be able to move. If in armor be double beware. They are truly something to feel a scare."

Hycorerox would carefully make his way to an unlit brazier and pulls out his adventuring gear looking for something that would light the brazier and something to transfer the flame from brazier to brazier. "This should illuminate our way. Hopefully the light will stay."

XP 6

Hycorerox would follow, carrying Remia if there was enough room. If not he would follow the Gerudo. Pulling out his shield and his Shillelagh. Hearing the whisper he tried to think of what they had mentioned before and any knowledge of such a creature.

Spout Lore Redeads: 2d6 ⇒ (4, 6) = 10

XP 6

Looking down at Remia he offered his hand to her, and if she accepted, he would pull her up onto her shoulder letting her have the high perch and stay out of the mud.

Hycorerox looks at the others and starts trundling off. He doubted the ladies would appreciate his rolling in the mud.

XP 6

Hycorerox nodded.

"Go into the domain of Shadow. Walk the paths that are below. Pass that which blocks our way together. Help and support one another. Find that which will help us on our journey. Within it may be a useful item or key."

Wiggling his toes in the mud he would lift his head breathing in the fresh morning hair. "It is a beautiful day. Shall we make our way?"

XP 6

Hycorerox would sit there rocking slightly after the night has passed before gathering himself up and standing in the mud. His body sank slightly in the softer soil but he didn't seem to mind as he looked at the others.

Listening to the song he would sway slightly.

Bonds

Riza of the Garudo is filled with passion and anger, I will help guide her so she is not controlled by anger and can see the world with passion I sense deep inside.

Anya is not one who sings and its a shame, but I will teach her what I know of the earth since knowledge may be her strength.

Remia is small and delicate, but full of life and exuberance. I will protect the little one.

All I could think of.

XP 6

Hycorerox looked at Anya. "No blood was shed. No one is dead. Let us get some much needed rest. Tomorrow the shadows will put us to the test. I can offer healing to those that are injured. So everyone is healthy when dawn Occurs."

He would look at them and nods settling in the rain not seeming bothered by the fact he couldn't fit inside to stay dry.

XP 6

Seeing the anger twist her features and her demeanor change, Hycorerox merely shifted his hands. Anger met with anger never ended well.

"Death mountain receives the winds from all around. You merely must know how to listen to the sound. Within it you can hear the desert anger, the howling winds and growing dangers. Before the wind would speak of tenacity and strength, needed to survive in it for any length. An open challenge to all who would hear. 'If unprepared there will be danger for all who come near. If you prepare yourself to inherit, the strength of arms and spirit. Then come test my sands, or forever live in you lands.' I may not have traveled them yet. But my path has already been set. I know the desert is wise and strong. After all it sent its strongest daughter here to travel along. "

Riza was enough of a fighter to know the Goron had shifted his arms in a more defensive stance but his eyes looked directly at her. Calm, without anger, his old face waiting for her to chose to strike or not.

XP 6

Hycorerox smiled widely as his hand thumped on his stomach and his feet lifted and stomped softly. With the pitter patter of the rain, the beat sounded like a heart beat.

"The mountain quakes, the Dragon wakes. The world is crying out for more light. It is quit the sight. I wish to see our land bright and green. Something rately now seen. You can understand for even in the desert sands, the beauty of the land is a fading band."

XP 6

Sorry been really busy

XP 6

"Because it is now something I find to my liking. As much as going hiking. If you found something you like accomplishing, would you not keep on pushing?"

Smiles at her and would pat his stomach in a way that made a nice drum like beat. "Rhyming is now part of my rhythm. I use it to impart wisdom."

XP 6

I think we should ask who is still here.

XP 6

He nodded. "The exercise taught me something valuable. That nothing is unattainable. Nothing is Impossible, only improbable. All it takes is dedication and the willingness to keep trying. Though if I said it was easy I would by lying." Smiling widely at her.

XP 6

"Do what every time I speak? Oh, are you mayhap talking about my rhyming streak? If so then yes indeed. It is something in a way I need. Rhyming has a power all its own. Just as does every stone."

Smiles at her as he places his hands on his knees.

"It brings smiles and it brings frowns, for some it makes them think upside down. For rhyming is always hard to maintain. For me it is a way to sustain. I was told I couldn't keep it up, ever since I was the size of a pup."

His hand comes out showing how small he was.

"So a challenge I did perceive, and if you would believe. To this day I have kept this going, and the words have always kept flowing. With in them I try to bring kindness and wisdom. To help maintain the balance of the Kingdom."

Looking around at everyone. "But Rhyming words are now not enough. We have all got to show our stuff. We all bring something to the table, so now that things are stable. We should all discuss what we can do. So we can make plans for the long view."

XP 6

Hycorerox chuckled at Torillin. "Goron like caves most. For on our mountain being outside can mean you roast. While hit is not the issue at hand, its the rocks crashing down like a spiteful hand. Those are one of the many dangers of our Land. The tomb of dragon under molten land." He settles himself out side.

"I do not mind the outside. It is where I usually reside. Nature provides all that I require, and even sometimes that which I desire. Whose wounds need tending now. Treat wounds I indeed know how."

Settling himself calmly outside in a nice solid spot. He folded his legs up and sat there looking at all of them and inside.

"Ancestors are tricky to calm. While fixing what angers them is a balm, sometimes fighting comes along. Some ancestors you have to beat back where they belong. For their anger is so great. It makes them forget to think Straight."

XP 6

Sorry it seems my post was swallowed up. When done walking dogs ill be back and post

XP 6

Shyrin speaks words we should heed. Some of you have rest you need. Let us find a place to stay. Where all of us can together lay. Time to talk and get to know, what is it that made us show. Each of us has different walks of life, but fate has made them converge because of the strife. The more we know of our group. The more we can aid and assist to recoup." Hycorerox would look at everyone and then looks around to see if any place was big enough for him. Seeing all the tiny doors he looked for a decent overhang they could be under.

XP 6

Hycorerox smiled at the Kokiri. "I have done you wrong, but I won't break out in song. My name is Hycorerox of the Mountain. You would find a big rock toad man in a fountain." he chuckles lightly and would carefully turn looking towards the Sheikah.

"Spirit of the Ancestor's of the Sheikah Tribe, I am by no means a great scribe. I will say taking over her body is unique. Is it a Sheikah specific technique? Are we needed here to resolve a problem now? If so can you guide us in how?'

XP 6

Looking to Torillin he nodded. "Indeed that seems fair, but be careful we don't give her a scare." Hycorerox grins widely as the Zora had adopted his speech patterns. "There is magic in Rhyme, hence why I talk in it all the time." He stomps his feet as he laughs heartily his body shaking before reaching out and clapping him on the back good naturedly.

His attention again turned to the Garuda and her angry retort. His eyes lock with hers and she sees nothing but gentleness and kindness. A wisdom was in those eyes also that spoke volumes. Though his rocky outcroppings pulse slowly like a volcano that isn't as dormant as people would think. "Much thanks for your name. I will in turn give the same. My name is Hycorerox, unlike Rocky it's out of the box. Muse is young and new. Music magic learned as she grew. Until it was used, we were just as bemused. Torillin and Anya both are smart. With their knowledge it gave us the start. Now the knowledge shared makes things clear. From now on we know and have no fear." He stomped his foot and moved to the side. Her anger didn't seem to bother him.

"You are from the proud Garudo are you not? You show the skill of having fought. Your strength will be good indeed. After you if you wish to proceed." He motions slowly and carefully towards the Sheikah who was arguing with nothing.

He didn't once mention about her being spooked.

XP 6

Then we will say there was a different emphasis on the two Sheikah's

XP 6

Hycorerox stops his movement when things go dark along with his rumbling.

Once the light of the world is revealed once again he looks around carefully. Seeing little Remia he smiles and moves over to her before squatting down. "Greetings Remia of the Kokiri Tribe of the Forest. Come, I will introduce you to the rest. Shadow and Yami it is nice to know you, you also can come too." He would stand and moves with her to the group as they look around.

"Remia I have listened well and can make a guess. Torilin is the Zora and Anya the human I must confess. Of the Gerudo I know not a name, but I have not done the same. Khristov has left to travel, where his path goes I can't begin to unravel. Sheikah, ahead seems to be upset. Sheikah's hope is we all met. Now Anya you spoke of the Redead, why would the dead not be dead?"

XP 6

Hycorerox looks at Muse and the tune before rumbling and stomping his feet to it.

"Ancient magics in the song. Listen and sing along."

Hycorerox would turn as he beat his feet and rumbled along. Trying to learn the song as he watched the fairy.

It was surprisingly robust considering it was mostly stomping feet. But he managed notes based on how hard and how his foot came down.

XP 6

I will be out of town for the next 3 days. Please bot me as needed.

XP 6

Hycorerox looked up at the Gerudo studying her calmly. Then time was spent studying the horse carefully. He would slowly lumber around it looking it over before gently reaching to let it smell him before stroking it. His rumbling voice slowly came out.

"Met many new people I have indeed. All united by the same need. What purpose do you bring forward. Is it the same goal we are going toward? My name is Hycorerox of the Mountain. Any Goron would know that name I am Certain."

XP 6

Hycorerox puts out a hand to let the fairy land. Studying her even if she continued to fly around.

"Fairy young and fairy old, never met a fairy with color so bold. Chirp and shrill in delight, for you are the prettiest fairy in sight." He said nodding to her.

Hycorerox turns to the human and studies him slowly.

"Rush not foward to Death Mountain. Everyone going must be certain. It is dangerous as the dragon awakens. The mountain knows and is quakin'. All must be ready, their hearts steady. It is wise if supplies are gathered. But rush before if you would rather. I know not your name. I gave mine in hopes you would do same. That is the right thing to do? I hope so because I don't want to seem rude."

XP 6

Hycorerox calmly moves through the village nodding to the little ones. Seeing a collection of people that seemed out of place he would turn his bulk and heads that direction careful to not step on a little one. Seeing one struggling to reach something he would grab it and hands it to them before slowly making his way to the strange group.

Looking at the one who spoke first he stared at him still as a stone for a long while. The rocky crags along his body glowing a dull red in time with his heartbeat. Which just like him was nice and slow.

"Hycorerox is what I am called, and not because I am bald. A guide is needed for the path ahead, or many of you may end up dead. So a guide I will be. For this group you see. To Death Mountain we must go. Within it our power will grow."

XP 6

Hycorerox would slowly make his way towards the village. Normally he would roll there but it was best he didn't Up and down hills were not familiar and he may run into things and people. His feet slowly beating out a steady rythmn.

XP 6

Still knew to Dungeon World and can't see how many XP it takes to level.

At 2 XP and Im waiting for them at the food of Death Mountain right. Not in the village?

XP 6

Hycorerox watchings the Sheikah disappear out of sight and doesn't move for a long time. People were coming. This would be news to the council. Staring down at the red rupee he nodded to himself and started walking back to the Goron village.

His first stop was the council. "The mountain is rumbling, the people from below are grumbling. Change is coming soon, mayhap as soon as noon. People will come to seek, a new way to not be meek. I will guide them on their journey, for only together do we hold the key." With his slow rumbling speaking he would finish up and then makes his way out to the store.

There he would purchase two more spears (10) and two sets of bandages (10).

XP 6

Death Mountain:

His fingers carefully take the red rupee and put it into a pouch.

"For rupee's I have no need. Though they buy me things I need indeed." He would gently pick her up in his arms. "Ground is rumbling, so move you must or go tumbling." His feet walked a steady rhythm as he slowly made his way down the mountain holding the human.

"Rest and relax, your journey did tax. Let to earth hold you in your sleep. Her dreaming council you can keep." He said taking her to a safer and easier path down the mountains.

"I will await them at the foot. Below Death Mountain's thick soot."

XP 6

Death Mountain:
Hycorerox studied the Sheikah and noted the softer features as the mask was pulled down. He knew much of the creatures of the world. Where Goron were not male or female, many were considered male by those that were sentient enough to care. This one had the distinction of seeming feminine for human. The size and body shape was covered unlike his own but that was protections for their soft skin.

Listening to the words he stood there looking down his kind eyes studying the Sheikah's. Patting her head gently and taking great care it wasn't to hard. They were soft folk after all. It was a long time before his old voice rumbled out like that of a mountain waking.

"No such thing as World's end or World's beginning. Just cycles long ago still remaining. Before our time and beyond. They will keep repeating even when we are gone. You wish to influence the change in the Goddess's favor. That is a thought you must savor." The statement rumbled out slowly. "It is not only your choices that matter, but the choices of all, be they big or small, effect all in their clatter. It is wise to band together. Everyone needs each other." Silence filled the air before the ground rumbled slightly. "Change is coming, mountain is thruming. The path we walk today, will influence in ways only time will say. Guide I am and guide I will be. Maybe this path will take me to the sea."

XP 6

Death Mountain:
Hycorerox moved patiently and slowly around the cut back after taking a moment to look out at the beauty of the world. Not many humans got to see such things, for many could not, and would not make the climb. His feet made thud in the ground as he walked around figuring rolling would frighten the young thing. As it was it needed assistance.

Walking up he would pull out a Gourd that had been hollowed out and would hand it to the youngling. Within it fresh water the mountain had provided. If you knew how to look. Then without saying anything gently places his hand on the back of their neck. The first thing they will notice is the coolness of his rocky skin despite the heat of the area. Then he moved to block the heat from the churning fires. His own rocky protrusions mimicking the glowing fire underneath.

He didn't say anything for there was no need. A human would only come this high if they were running for something, or wished to impart something important.

XP 6

Hycorerox is an older Goron and a bit of a hermit but, like all Goron's respects the brotherhood and family of the tribe. He uses his hermit like qualities to benefit the tribe. He moves around the mountain observing it and talking with the creatures that live on it reporting back to the council. Not the strongest Goron but one of the heartiest and the wisest of them he is respected for the information he brings.

He respects all three Goddesses and maintains that they work towards a natural harmony of nature and while he favors earth and fire, he must not forget the others for all are important.

He often drums on rocks or stomps his feet when in communion with the Goddesses "Earthly" elements.

XP 6

Greetings. I will be joining you!
