Hey folks,
Juggling this year, work, home schooling, and numerous ongoing family tragedies has left me unable to keep up with PBP. I've been hanging on the last month or two, trying to get back into the games I've been slowing down, but I just can't keep up anymore. I've really enjoyed playing Hush and playing with all of you, but I'm going to have to step away from this game.
Thanks for understanding. I wish you all the best in the coming year and I sincerely hope I have the opportunity to play with you again in the future.

While Finn checks on the cry for help, Hush pulls out her med kit and tries to bandage her wounds.

Hush's eyes widen in surprise -- not what she expected to see in a church!

She raises an eyebrow, seeing Finn sneak INTO trouble, but then considers the situation. Clearly no one else was around to deal with this...

What kind of town needed carnies to save it?

Following Finn's lead, Hush ducks behind the door and creeps closer, taking cover behind the pews.

Hush is going to try to hide, then sneak twice. If one of her attempts fails and Sneaking is impossible, she'll use another Hide instead of that Sneak. I see you're busy, so I'm going to roll my secret checks for this in a spoiler. You're welcome to use the rolls or take the mods and roll it yourself again. I've moved my icon on the map where she intends to be after her sneaking around.

Hush claps a hand comically over her mouth with surprised mirth at the insults her friends have thrown at the others. She looks at the audience, then spreads her arms wide in a 'what can you do' motion. She grins then flexes her non-existent muscles at the creepy bouncing clown.

If she can't close the door:
Hush hurries into the bar and climbs up on top of it.

And either way:
Hush focuses on her barrier and pushes it out further. Area of her barrier is now 20 ft., her allies get +1 AC)

Then she pulls out a healing potion, just in case she needs it.

Hush cringes as she yanks her arm out of Finn's grasp and takes a few staggered steps back. She shudders, looking like she might gag, then purposely gives herself a shake like she's psyching herself up for a show. She shoots Finn's back a scowl and opens her mouth to say something, but by then Finn and the others are planning something involved with a boar.

She shakes herself off again, shivering a bit, then deigns to speak. "This is a bar. People drink here. Not just the gang. People."

She points to the side of the building. "There."

Wait, why are we sending it in the back door of a public building? Its going to hurt citizens and employees. That's different than sending it at the gang members on the porch. Why don't you put it near the side of the building, heal it, and try to shoo it at the front porch? It's tougher, but we're going hurt innocents if we send a murderous boar into a tavern. Or am I confused? It is a roadside bar, right? Not a gang hideout? That's why she was going to knock -- she's assuming its a tavern open to public and there's probably employees in the back.

Right before everyone's about to leave for Abberton, Hush suddenly appears -- dressed, clean, and ready for the day. She gives the group an exaggerated wave and an absurdly large smile, as if she were pantomiming being happy and friendly, but it slips a moment later as she struggles to ignore the noise from the camp.

She starts to walk down the road, being sure to put a jaunty spring in her step for the locals she was sure to meet. Making 'friends' is good for the circus.

I do! I'm a nomadic halfling. She gained bonus languages at character creation and one additional language every time she takes multilingual.

Nomadic Halfling - Your ancestors have traveled from place to place for generations, never content to settle down. You gain two additional languages of your choice, chosen from among the common and uncommon languages available to you, and every time you take the Multilingual feat, you gain another new language.

On that note: @GM: I already have all the common languages. Next time she gets a new language, can she start taking regional languages (since we're near Absalom and people speak a ton of languages there?). Or can she start dipping into uncommon languages in the future? Or did you want her to meet someone in game who can speak those languages before she can learn any more?

Over P'oxtan's shoulder, to the left of Finn's head, below the wagon's lintel... She doesn't have a good shot -- she knows she doesn't -- but Finn nearly died. She had to try.

Hush focuses on a nearby rock. She mimics throwing a rock at the bear, looks at the rock, points at the bear, and shakes in silent laughter. The rock flies through the air at the bear.
