Hiro locks eyes with Terendelev in that brief instant before his plunge into darkness, the moment seems a lifetime in length, without a spoken word her message is clear. The fate of the world now rests on his shoulders and those brave enough to shoulder that burden with him. The sadness for all the loss around him in Terendelev's eyes brings Hiro to tears and the last image Hiro sees before the plunging darkness is the Storm Lord's sword decapitating Terendelev. As Hiro begins to fall he states quite calmly to Khorramzedeh, mindless of whether or not the Storm Lord can hear him, "I come for you Khorramzedeh. Prepare yourself." Then all is darkness... Willow wrote: This close to the' she looks about and to the Tian man, hoping it won't disturb him; "Worldwound, there are many strange sites and beings. Upon hearing Willow's comment a cold paralyzing fear grips Hiro, the Worldwound, a thing of nightmare and legend told to Tian children to frighten them into obedience. The fear quickly subsides, and Hiro hopes that no one saw it, and is quickly replaced by elation! "Perhaps I am not too late!" He thinks to himself. Cernan wrote: So, your no more a local than I am. Where are you from? How far have you journeyed to get here? "I come from very far. Long journey." "Sorry," he begins in common, "I in Kenabres, yes?". Hiro takes in the nods of affirmative from the 4 companions and continues. "Please tell me, when am I? Umm...how you say? What is year?" ![]()

![]() Hiro looks quizzically at the Cernan. "So sorry but I am not thirsty. I am on very important mission." Hiro stands up as tall as his 5'4" frame allows as he states that last sentence. "Very important, please, you tell me when I am?" Kipka Jinxspittle wrote wrote: You saved us! Thank you! But we must be going now... Hiro looks down at the gnome, which really isn't that far down as short as Hiro is, and really takes notice of her for the first time. She has the most fascinating gear poking out of her backpack. "I saved you already?" he asks. "But that cannot be. I only arrived just now. Am I late?" Hiro starts to panic a little. The frost from coming through the portal has begun melting and is running down his face making him shiver again. Hiro takes in the Heaven's Touched other 2 companions. Both of them are very attractive, for Western women, and have the most fantastically colored hair, the same as the gnome's. "PLEASE!!! I must know! When am I?!? What time?!?" he directs at them all and starts to draw attention from the rest of the passerby's. "My life built to this mission! If I fail all is lost!" He states as he walks in a circle in front of them. ![]()

![]() Hiro stumbles around in the alley trying to get his bearing. His head is swimming and his stomach is not too far behind. He finds his vision coming and going and feels cold all over. Shivering he notices the ice powder on his hands, and after checking the rest of his body he finds it covering him almost entirely. He steadies himself against a wall and proceeds to dump the entire contents of his stomach on the ground. That made him feel much better. "Could it have worked?" he thinks to himself. "Could the Council have succeeded?" Hiro thinks back to the events that led to him being here and it all seems so fuzzy. His vision improving, Hiro runs out into the street to see where, and when he might be. The music, the sounds, the sights, it all seems so foreign. He starts to get dizzy again and closes his eyes and plugs his ears until the queasiness subsides. When he opens his eyes he is greeted to the most wonderful sight he has ever seen. "This can't be" he mutters to himself in Tian. "They are extinct!?" Walking down the road Hiro spotted one of the Heaven's Touched, Aasimar his tutor called them, with 2 ladies and a small child, no wait, a gnome in tow. "Yatta!" He exclaims and runs right up to the man. Wide-eyed and giddy he reaches out with a finger and touches the stranger on the chest giving him a slight push, to make sure he is real. "Yatta!" he exclaims again and jumps up and down and begins to speak uncontrollably in Tian to the man, spilling the words out without taking a breath until he starts to get dizzy again. When he next draws in a breath he notices that all 4 of them are looking at him with unabashed confusion. "So sorry, please allow me to apologize for my behavior. I am Hiro Nakamura and I am pleased to meet you" he states in Tian. Again, he is met with confusion (assuming no one else speaks Tian). Suddenly it hits him, he is not on his continent, they cannot speak Tian. "Common perhaps?" he mutters to himself in Tian. Stiffening, he turns back toward them and in very broken common states "Hello. My name Hiro Nakamura. Sorry. Thought you dead. I am here to save the world. Shake!" as he thrusts out his hand with the biggest warmest smile he can muster in what he believes is the proper form of greeting. Hello: You have no idea how hard it was NOT to type Herro instead of Hello ![]()

![]() OK link to character sheet is now on my profile page. Had to get a computer and not my phone to figure it out. Yeah, I may not even really know who they are only bits and pieces that were passed down through time which of course get completely distorted. And, of course, I have to be careful about disrupting the space-time continuum too much and have to be careful about what I may say while "geeking" out. (Yes, I, Worrgrendel, realize that my (Hiro) mere presence here takes the space-time continuum and throws it out the window, but Hiro is to naive to understand that telling someone about the past (their future) is of little consequence to the fact that because he is now in the past that future is, to be technical, borked.) ZOMG Cernan! It's really you! I mean REALLY you! I thought you'd be taller... The way you fought at the battle of... err... I mean I can't believe that you took on umm... err... the BBEG all by yourself! And you didn't even spill a drop from your Everful Mug even when he ran you through... the umm... err... obstacle course! Yeah that's it the obstacle course! So brave! ![]()

![]() Yeah I'm not really looking for a real knowledge gain from it. I'm more looking at it from a role playing opportunities to create awkward moments for the other PC's. think of him as that annoying Hollywood movie star groupie stalker who just won a "spend a day with your favorite movie star contest" and one or more PC's are the "lucky" stars. ![]()

![]() I'm ready. The only question I really have is how long I have been in the past? I was thinking along the lines of literly just having arrived in the past. Also, would it be possible that I know of the rest of the party? Like from legend? These were the great heroes of the crusade even though they ultimately failed kinda thing and I'm here to alter the outcome in our favor. |
