I will also say, I'm not looking forward to trying to challenge people with 10 tiers +level 20. I build the characters for a couple of my players since they don't know the rules that well and don't have Hero Lab, and I cannot resist optimization. Hence I know how bad it will look since I already built a few at 20. .

Honestly I think the GMing was perfectly fine. The persistence in taking it all the way when you put in mythic which makes it even harder to balance is pretty damned respectable.

I have a face to face table of WotR and a pbp table here. They are completely divergent in levels of optimization so far. Hence I won't even be able to just reuse the face to face encounters for the pbp bunch.

Of course the stuff from the actual module was seemingly written with the expectation that the players optimized as well as stones.

At one point Amarantha said he cast a list of spells on the group. Some of them were single target, so I'm a bit fuzzy on if she meant everyone. If so Freedom of Movement was among them and Hemket was not grappled.

Need to know what she actually did.

I fully sympathize. I'm running both an online of WotR as well as a home game of it. The home game has 7 players on top of it being mythic.

Every encounter has to be fully reworked to not be a joke.

I had one encounter where you are to fight 1 mythic baddie, with 2 CR 12 demons on their side, with 1 mythic baddie helping you (grudge).

I switched it so they fought 3 CR 19 demons as well as both mythic baddies. They weren't terribly threatened.

I've learned that the mythic they wrote up is generally laughable.
