Svetlana steps into the room clad in full Hellknight plate, not the polished silks of the Chelaxian diplomat this time, but the iron fist of Order made manifest. “Vicarius Giordano Torchia sends his regards from Citadel Enferac on behalf of the Order of the Gate” She sets her helm down beside Omrax’s - his crowned with wings, hers with the curling horns of devils.

“Demons?” she remarks, a vicious joy flickering behind her eyes - “The Crusaders congratulated themselves and went home too early. There is still work to be done”

Turning to Omrax, her expression softens to a warm smile of kinship “Omrax, my dearest brother-in-steel — this is a great day. If you are here, then I know I am in the right place to cleanse the most heinous corruptions”

Finally, she turns to the others “And our cast of fine Pathfinders; Kahwen, Jhaervhan, your presence and talents already fill me with confidence in our assured success”

Svetlana takes on a slightly enigmatic look "Hmmm perhaps your path to redemption might lay that way, do you at least have the tools for the task with you?"

"Indeed" the Hellknight replies, stepping up confidently, "Omrax, my noble and righteous friend - this is one for me, I will examine this likely heresy and you will not be tainted by it".

Svetlana meets Galandaro’s gaze for a long moment before holding forth the silver wayfinder. With a soft click, she opens it to reveal a tiny, hand-painted cameo of a gallant paladin in shining armour bearing the symbol of Iomedae. Beneath the portrait is a single word: Oti.

The Hellknight grins a bittersweet grin at her jest as her hand drifts towards her wayfinder, and the picture of her lost love - the Iomedite paladin that Omrax's puissant skill at arms and chivalrous nature remind her of, Otiohon. "Whatever happened to you? It should have been us battling side by side in places like this." she murmurs softly.

"Thank you for your kindness Omrax, you just remind me of a great man I once knew"

"I welcome your healing gift, your benevolence and generosity match your impressive marital prowess"

If we do not have the ability to do so immediately then Galandaro can provide Svetlana with Soul Stimulant which will negate the level loss for 12 hours.

Svetlana gives a light whoop of joy as Omrax’s decisive blow lands true, and tears the creature from this realm. She’s clearly invigorated by the moment and relishing the violent cleansing, but as the last of the beast crumples, she staggers slightly, catching herself.

"That creature has sapped me somewhat. I'm still fit for battle just not at full efficiency," she admits with a grin that doesn’t quite hide her fatigue "I thank you for the elixir"

Look on the map. It's 20' away from you. 2nd diagonal square is 10'.

The second diagonal is measured as 5', and thus reach is a square pattern in general, otherwise you find your reach becomes 'less than', eg 15' becomes 10' if you count 2nd diagonals twice. Otherwise Svetlana can be 5' across to the left and do the same thing, if the GM decided otherwise - but the inttent is to make it move trowugh her extended reach and trigger AOO if it approaches.

Her usual cold poise softens, touched by something warmer — a quiet, dignified satisfaction. For once, the gleam in her eye isn't suspicion or disdain, but something close to joy.
