Drow Noble
I am fairly sure that is the base being used.

And I disagree just because those abilities appear as At-Wills does not mean they have no daily use, their daily use is just unlimited.

So if you wanted to burn your feats on adding in two more spell-like abilities at will I don't see it as being to powerful because you are wasting a lot of feats to bring that concept online.

I think this question is making use of the 3.P concept, using 3.5 material in PF which I do all the time, general concepts, races, Prcs if they are specific enough to warrant it.

Hello people of the forum,

I am beginning in a game where we are starting at 5th level. We are playing in a mash up of 3.5 and Pathfinder. Books included Races of and their campaign books so on.

Because we are starting at level 5 I was allowed to make any character I wanted so long as the CR adjustment is not greater then 3. Well I wanted to play a Swashbuckler because I love the fluff and all that of the class.

So I wanted to play a powerful race combo.
Drow Noble with the Shade

So that that would leave me at level 5 with only two class levels but when I get near 6 I replace one CR for a Class level.

I know this is insanely strong, I am not debating that but do you think it will work? I have a full background story for why this combo exists.

So here is a build I have in front of me.
Plant Type (10 RP)
Medium Size (0 RP)
Normal Speed (0 RP)
Standard Language (0 RP)
Bonded to the Land (2 RP) [Forest]
[+2 Dodge Bonus when in the selected terrain)
Camouflage (1 RP) [Forest]
[+4 Stealth bonus in selected terrain]
Terrain Strider (1 RP) [Forest]
Treespeech (2 RP)
Spell-Like Ability, At-Will (2 RP)
[Endure Elements (Self Only)]
Enclave Protector (2 RP)
[Constant-Nondetection; 1/day Faerie fire, Obscure Object, Sanctuary]
Light Dependent (-2 RP)
[1d4 points of Con damage each 24 hours they go without exposure to Sunlight]
[Total 18 RP]

Now I know its high but within the RP for a character starting by class levels with no CR adjustment.
What class best fits a character like this? I was thinking Druid or Ranger personally due to the nature theme but just because they are a plant they don't have to be typecast as being the hippies of a party do they?

I am looking for ideas, maybe some ideas on the race but it seems pretty solid and not to terribly powerful all the spell-likes are weak and fit mostly.

Anyone else imagine this as Str is the high-school jock who is the star player and suddenly his teammate Dex makes a few good runs and now everyone is talking about Dex so Str is losing his mind because this is all he has when Dex is also got straight As and other stuff going for him?

Because this is how this argument has come off to me. I can literally imagine Str screaming "Don't take this away from it, its all I have!"
