Hannah waves her flag. "Take heart! No spider could slay Bellanie!"

Hannah follows her older brother, Finch, clutching her spear tightly. The banner flutters fitfully in the breeze. She keeps glancing about, Herne's nerves heightening her senses.
I live! Sorry for the long absence but I was quite ill.
I'm a bit under the weather, please bot me for the next couple of day, and please don't hold the game up on my account.
"Brinya, I hate to ask, but did Rodrick ever talk to you about the plague house or mention being afraid of anyone? We heard that a strange blonde half-orc was seen entering the boarding house and we found blonde hairs on the floorboards. Almost as if he were hiding beneath Rodrick's bed waiting for his return. I think he might have been Rodrick's killer." Hannah reaches out her hand to comfort Brinya. This was hard news. "Wait, Rodrick's father disowned him? That's the first we have heard of this."
I thought we had look at the murder weapon? Which is why Hannah asked if the murder weapon had been planted by the murderer.
"Brinya, I am so sorry for your loss. The entire town grieves with you. We were tasked to investigate his death, and what we discovered suggests that it may not have been suicide. Would you please answer a few of our questions, so that we might find Rodrick's true killer?" Hannah asks eye's brimming with sympathy.
"Cannot the wolf wait? We need to let people know there are enemies within our walls." Hannah looks about for a way to alert the townsfolk.
Hannah moves over to Coretin. "You were hurt. Let me help you."
"We should inform the guard. If these wolves got in, then maybe others did as well. More of our fellow folk might be in danger."
Hannah continues to inspire her allies, but changes song slightly to bring sleep to the diseased wolves.
"Take heart, my friends!" Hannah shouts, raising her banner above her head, before she begins to sing an inspiring song about a clever wizard setting wargs on fire with pinecones. They aren't exactly Wargs, but we aren't clever wizards.
Hannah silently reads the pages, "That clears up the mystery of why he was having a new knife forged. I think we should investigate the Plague House together. There is safety in numbers." My crush was still-born before it drew its first breathe. Poor Brinya, I should comfort her soon.
"Yes, we are! We were looking for you too, when we couldn't fin you in the Sanctuary, I feared the worst. What is going on with the white swords? Do you know who the blonde half-orc is?"
Hannah waves at Sara when they arrive in her smithy -- the smith was well known to her as the wife of her mentor. "Sara, have you noticed the white swords painted on the walls?"
"Maybe he didn't. If this were a murder staged as a suicide, somethings might have been left for our benefit," Hannah mused. Though generally much livelier this morning had been draining and she had been particularly withdrawn since Coretin ambushed her.
Once they are out of church, Hannah will pipe up. "There is something sinister afoot in our beloved town. Painted white swords have been appearing all over town."
Hannah gasps when the priestess says the older priest was missing.
Hannah turns a bright red at Coretin's forthright declaration concerning her crush. The normally witty woman is tongue-tied. "Uh . . . feelings? I . . . I don't know what you are talking about Coretin. I wouldn't try to steal him away from Brinya." She pauses -- clearly flustered -- before changing the subject. "Has anyone read The Other Side of Contempt? Rodrick wrote it, I guess. I thought that it might maybe help us understand his recent disposition better. Also, I . . . I was going to go see his friend Katrezra, an older priest at Sanctuary." After saying this, Hannah glances down out the note, " . . . and talk to the smith . . ."
Thinking better of running about town by herself when she believed there was a murderer who was making deaths look like suicides, Hannah waits outside for the other erstwhile investigators to tell them about the The Other Side of Contempt and the priest, Katrezra.
I think Bellanie has the right of it. We could all meet somewhere at lunch time to share information?
Hannah thanks the woman. She had never read The Other Side of Contempt and goes to track down a copy. She also goes to visit Katrezra.
While they search the room, Hannah will try to discover if the townspeople know something even if they don't know it's relevant.
"I think you speak wisely, Corentin." Hannah sniffles a little bit as she puts on her brave face.
Hanna weeps when she hears of Rodrick's death. He was so handsome and so brave, and now he is gone. I don't believe that he would hurt himself. Not with a Hope Knife! She dries her eyes and composes when Kurst asks for her. She is more than a little surprised both that he asked and who he had gathered. The seven of us were all on Ruby's team last night. Is that a coincidence? I know everyone here, but the man who came with the dwarves. I think I saw Finch speak to him? I wonder who this outsider is. Seeing Kurst in such turmoil, Hannah goes up to him and clasps his larger hand between her two much smaller ones. "Kurst, I'm very sorry for your loss. The children of Halgra stand with you. We all loved Rodrick. I don't believe he would commit suicide. We will do our best to find his murderer. Do you remember anything odd over the past few weeks? Did Rodrick quarrel with anyone?"
Hannah has a good time at the party -- flitting here and there. These people are her friends and family, and the young woman enjoys seeing them have fun. At one point, she hops on a table and sings an impromptu ballad of how Ruby's might was so great she defeated the town's entire militia with one hand tied behind her back. As a piece of art, what it lacked in merit it made up for in heart and good humor. As the party begins to wind down, Hannah volunteers to help clean up. Though her ears perk up at the mention of singing and dancing.
When Rodrick chases her, Hannah lets out a faux-shriek of terror. Flaxen hair whipping in the evening breeze, she pelts off towards the tent fast enough that he might not catch her, but slow enough that he could catch her.
Hannah fights off the urge to blush at the older boy's attention. She knows it would show too easily on her fair skin. I cannot have Finch teasing me about this! Gathering her wits, the small young woman pokes Rodrick in the chest playfully. "Isn't that what any villain would say, Rodrick? That they were doing it for the greater good?" Unable to maintain her composure, Hannah dissolves into giggles.
"When it comes to the ale who could be mightier than the two of you? Everybody knows that the two of you were responsible for the great cider massacre last harvest." Hannah asks teasingly with a grin. Though the brothers were several years older than she, they were the most interesting boys near her age who weren't related to her. Rodrick especially caught her eye, but she would never admit to having a crush on him because she feared what her brothers might say.
Although it would be fair to say that strength was not Hannah's strength, she was game for the challenge. "For Ruby! For Trunau!"
Klan? If those dwarves start lynching people, I will be concerned. :-p
"Yes, Momma!" Hannah had been leaning against her older brother, Finch, during the ceremony. He produces more body heat than she, and it is a bit chilly as the sun begins to set. She moves through the crowd gracefully, like than dancer she is. Herne hops after her, long accustomed to following Hannah through tangles of people's feet. When she reaches Ruby, she wraps her arms around her younger sister in a tight embrace. "I'll help you little sister, even if you are taller than me. With your brothers and I you won't be able to lose."
Yay, two older brothers to keep me in line. :-P
