The Barbarian is loathe to approach such a creature so far away exhausting any sort of escape options once he arrives, he instead activates a power from the Luckstone, Tower of Iron Will, just in case...

10-ft.-radius emanation centered on you. You project a fortress of mental power that blocks out the psychic energy of others, granting mental strength and resiliency to all inside the area. All creatures inside the area gain spell resistance equal to 10 + double this spell's level against psychic magic and any mind-affecting effects. Creatures inside the area don't receive this protection against your spells or special abilities.

Round 2

The Barbarian grimaces as Justin once again ends up in the monster, as the Barbarian considers a second flying charge into the maw of the beast, it explodes in a fountain of gore from which Hamar is also splashed.

He flies up to get some charging distance and directly at the other... thing, considering it's ability to score hits so successfully. The Barbarian flies into it's mouth as well, moving through as striking at will.

Hamar leaps into the air "charging" at the already wounded bat seeking to finish it off. He is a bit disoriented at this new sensation and only utilizes one blade with two strikes!

The Barbarian eyes the rope tied to seemingly nothing warily, but shimmies down to the ground floor anyway avoiding the spikes with a slight swing and drop to one side. He then loosens his bow in case anything comes charging down one of the hallways at him. Certainly sneaking is not an option now after the armored warrior fell crashing into the spikes...
